Rogues
Thomas and Rick have a stable partnership, exploring the stars and skirting the law. Vampire and companion for decades, they fill their downtime aboard their ship the Sleepwalker with sex and banter. How can you not love a book that starts...
"A vampire, a psychic, and a werewolf walk into a bar..." This book was a rollicking good time. The balance of plot, relationship, and hot sex was just about perfect! Only 228 pages tho, so a fairly quick read.

ประสบการณ์ของเรากับการอ่านหนังสือที่มีคนแต่งสองคนไม่ค่อยดีนัก ยกเว้นก็เฉพาะงานของแคธี่ แคลมป์และซีที อดัมส์เท่านั้นเอง เรื่องนี้ก็อยู่ในข่ายที่ไม่ได้เรื่องเช่นกัน เราอ่านไม่จบเพราะน่าเบื่อเกินไป เป็นตัวอย่างของหนังสือแนวอีโรติกที่มีแต่เซ็กส์แต่พล็อตเรื่องไม่เอาไหน อ่านไปเกินครึ่งเรื่องแล้วยังไม่ได้ประเด็นอะไรสักอย่าง

Thomas is a vampire. His partner Rick is a psychic. They’ve been making sweet love in space for 30 years on their ship, the Sleepwalker. But something, or someone, is missing. Their AI companion, Elvie can’t meet their need for an actual factual woman. That woman is out there somewhere, they can feel her. In fact, her green aura melded with their gold and purple the last time they made love. They just had to find her!
The meet repo officer Harriet and they feel she is the one they’re looking for. But little do they know they are her marks. A conspiracy is uncovered and Harriet joins with Thomas and Rick to clear their names. Oh yeah, and Harriet’s a werewolf.
There’s sex. Lots of it. But I found it disappointing. It’s varied enough and it really should be hot but somehow it’s not. The characters are okay but I found myself liking Elvie the AI the best. I would have liked to know more about Thomas and Rick’s past; I wasn’t feeling their love for each other. And although the attraction between the three of them made sense the love and oh-my-god-let’s-live-happily-together-forever did not.
Overall, the story was just okay. I liked it even though I knew it wasn’t very good. I wasn’t sure why I liked it. I would read a sequel if there was one.

For me Rogues was just ok. A few of the sex scenes were hot though.
