What a wild ride! I related too well to the raw emotions throughout this book (the hurt, the upset, the feeling of being ignored/alone and the gut wrenching anger/rage).

when a house wife is stuck in a miserable marriage and her husband dies suddenly she decides to start her life over. The twists in this story are great. I loved this book.

I didn't know what to expect for a story line when i opened up this book. Just was guessing from the title/cover. Which, was fairly accurate. Now keep in mind, this is solely my opinion, but i truly think this book was different than the usual genre that Tina tends to write in. No complaints about that tho. Hands down, this book here, is by far, my favorite book yet, that Tina has wrote!!! It's got fire, and its got emotion.

WIDOW MAKER by Tina S Transformation is a heart-racing thriller about taking justice into your own hands... kind of Dexter vibe but less bloody and more personal.
I loved that this book was different from standard thrillers where everyone has secrets (and they will mention this a million times), and you constantly try to guess. This story was more straightforward, no empty page fillers, no walking around the bushes. And to be honest, I never came across a similar storyline, so that's exciting.
The main character is surprisingly calming and comforting. It's hard to explain, but the way she comes across is so... soothing. I can't remember the last time I felt like that about the character.
She is perfect, at least she is doing everything to be perfect. She is looking after herself and their house, she is a perfect mum to her two children, Lance and Ava, and she is trying everything to be a perfect wife to her husband Patrick. Unfortunitelly, Patrick has no brain or ability to see past his ego, he can't see the true value of his wife, all he cares about is himself and his friends.
What happens when enough is enough? Oh well, some lessons must be learned the hard way!
I absolutely loved the dynamics between her and her sister Melanie. If you have a sister like this, cherish her! The connection, dynamics, and support like that are unique. I wish I had a sister like that!

Listen. This book had me speaking to myself like I wasn't wrapped quite right because this.....this here is one of the reasons why I'm single because HUN-NEEEEEEEE! I absolutely loved Widow Maker! From start to finish, it’s a gripping, fast-paced thriller that kept me on the edge of my seat. The main character is everything you want in a vigilante anti-hero — fierce, unapologetic, and deeply layered. I found myself rooting for them the entire way, even when their choices were morally grey.
I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone who loves thrillers with a Dexter-like vibe but craves a fresh, bold voice. It’s dark, smart, and totally addictive.

What a revenge thriller this is. Never mess with a woman scorned. And always keep an eye open on those survivors. They never forget, and some come back with a vengeance.
The author excellently weaved a picture that changes at every angle. If you thought you knew what was happening, they proved you wrong. I couldn't put this one down. At all. It was a great read.

Alyssa is the definition of dangerous and mesmerizing. Her situation with Patrick is, unfortunately, all too relatable, making her transformation into something far more chilling incredibly satisfying to witness. And her mind? Wow. The way she plots, calculates, and executes her revenge is nothing short of thrilling - Tina really outdid herself crafting this fierce, unpredictable character.
One of the most clever details in the book was the inclusion of chats, adding an extra layer of realism and tension. It made the story feel immediate, urgent, and even more engaging. Every twist kept me guessing, and the suspense was deliciously unbearable!

Some say shame 🫠. Some say, "she probably deserved it!". Some say, "if she didn't like it, she wouldn't stay!". Excuse me!?? Have YOU ever been HER!?? Then shut your trap. (Maybe (you) ought to read this book and learn something!) Okay, okay, now that I've let that out! Yeah ladies, this book is excellent for those of you who NEED to release a little bit of venting, on the safer side! 🤣🤣 This book here will definitely let your mind let loose when those feelings start getting built up from seeing what this woman is subject to in her marriage of hell. It's no wonder that the MMC thinks the way she thinks. Or that she starts acting the way she does. This book does have a lot of secrets and unexpected twists, that I do not want to give away, but you are reading one of Tina S Transformation's books aren't you?? So, I shouldn't have to say more. This did not go in the direction I thought it was going to go at all. The beginning of this story had me doing a double take. It sounded like it was being written about my life! lol. Minus the gaming and moving to a compound part. That might have sent me over the edge too.
This story was full of feminine rage, but not unjustly so. Tina did an amazing job with this story. You can really feel the characters emotions in this one and so many women can relate. The story ended on somewhat of a cliffhanger. I can't wait to see where it goes from here.!

When I say this spoke to me, I mean it in all the possible ways. I could feel her hurt, her anger, her questioning everything. She was me, I was her. I felt like the author was describing me in the last few years of my marriage and dealing with teenagers. There are twists and turns, but I don't want to give much away because this is a story that has to be experienced. All I can say is wow because of the feelings this story evoked in me. Like she took my inner thoughts and feelings and put them into words that I've never been able to, even in therapy. Will absolutely read more by her!

This book is quite a wild ride. The feelings are so relatable that they fly off the page and into your soul, and you are there with the character. She is so ignored that a lot has to happen in the story before you even learn her name. Once the turn happens, it doesn't slow down and keeps you absolutely glued, wondering what will come next. I loved the use of scents in this book - it really puts you in the scene in a visceral way. This is a writer I will keep reading.

July 10, 2025What the heck did I just read? Could not put this down! It’s not written in the traditional sense cause its not really a traditional book. Its quirky, suspenseful, and just plain gruesome! (no sexual triggers, just blood and guts). The characters are so out of the ordinary but still so believable and relatable. Nothing better than a strong female lead character. It’s a very quick read but man, it sure did suck you in to the series! On to Dateline App series!

This is one of the longer audiobooks of Tina’s I have listened to and this book is packed with details. It is definitely one I want to read again but this time I will read the book.
The way Tina writes it’s captivating. I am an awe. I definitely have a book hangover and need to take a day or two to just sit on this entire story.

It's impressive how the author skilfully pulls you into the story. It’s raw and brutal, and you just don’t want to put it down.
I’ve read a few of Tina S. Transformation’s books, and she is a talented writer. One thing I’m not keen on though is a cliffhanger ending, but that is just a personal thing. I would recommend checking out her books, and I will definitely be reading more from her in the future.

Brilliant narration from Rae Willows, who brings the trills, suspense and emotion to your ears.
