The inclusion of the 2002 comic helped me a lot to appreciate more of what the plan is for All In

I loved Kurt Busiek's original Power Company 20+ years ago. This is a disappointing mishmash that just reuses the name and a single character. Part of the problem might be the composition of the collection, which is frankly lacking, with its one-off stories eventually maybe coming together a little. But for the moment, it just doesn't fit together and there's nothing drawing me in to read more, not even love for the original comic whose name is being used here.

(Now could we could an omnibus or even a compendium of the original run? That would rock.)
