Vampire Romance: The Sweet Taste of Blood

After Stella’s abrupt rejection, Adrian gets very angry. He goes over to a place a little on the outskirts of California and in anger, bites a human and drinks her blood. It is revealed that he is a vampire, and that is one of the main reasons for his exclusivity. He has rarely ever fallen in love with anyone, but Stella seemed so different to him that he wanted to pursue her and eventually developed feelings for her. He knows that she reciprocates his feelings and wonders why she refused him. He speaks to his father (who has adopted him as a son), who tells him to go on and not give up. Adrian tries hard while trying to control his vampire instincts, not wanting to reveal himself. When he constantly pursues Stella and tells her he loves her, she confesses that she loves him and they share a passionate moment, broken suddenly when Stella pulls back and says mysteriously that she has a dark secret and she cannot be with him.
