Real Speculations is a work of speculative philosophy both informed by the foundational thought of figures like Hegel, Nietzsche, and Lacan, but also embedded in a concrete living process of the construction of an online educational platform, Philosophy Portal. Throughout this work you will be introduced to the living dialectical core of contemporary culture war tensions, the speculative foundations for thinking major issues in theopolitical-economy, the nature of the drive which is capable of birthing mythological foundations for key social processes (e.g. education, teaching, leadership, etc.), as well as a social analysis that is grounded in analytic notions of libido/sexuality as the core of constructivism. All of these dimensions are reflectively inscribed in real living relations and ideas that are part of an emerging online network tarrying with a world beyond institutional integration or conventional-normative processes of development. Consequently, this work will be of service to both those directly associated with the works of Philosophy Portal, and/or those who are generally interested in the leading edge of theology, politics, education, and broader civilisational conversations in the context of the major social transformations we are currently experiencing.
