Ox was sixteen when the energetic Bennett family moved in next door, harboring a secret that would change him forever. The Bennetts are shapeshifters. They can transform into wolves at will. Drawn to their magic, loyalty, and enduring friendships, Ox feels a gulf between this extraordinary new world and the quiet life he's known, but he finds an ally in Joe, the youngest Bennett boy.
Ox was twenty-three when murder came to town and tore a hole in his heart. Violence flared, tragedy split the pack, and Joe left town, leaving Ox behind. Three years later, the boy is back. Damn, TJ Klune doesn’t write mm romances, he writes emotional ecosystems with no safeguards and pushes you in. I kept reading to see if these people I’ve grown so frakking attached to would make it out whole, alive, safely… or at least still standing.

Gordo & Mark… AHHHHHHH!
Robbie & Kelly - I just want to wrap them in a blanket of security and never let them go.
Carter & Gavin… “OH” yeah, they are the divas. Both of them.
Ox & Joe… just so warm and comfortable.

Elizabeth, Jessie, Will… goddamnit, they are just so divine. I choose them. They’re so honest, a little broken, but the real ones.

The books are so rhythmic, so calming, so unapologetic. They stay with you, and stay, and stay. Then they coat you with this viscous hold that you never want to let go. I could dream of these books forever and ever and ever.
