Waking up married in Vegas was bad enough… Realizing I accidentally married my boss’s daughter? That’s a whole new level of screwed.
I’m the hottest property in the league. The future #1 draft pick in the NHL. I should be focused. I should be resting.
Instead, I wake up with a hangover, a wedding ring, and the hottest woman I’ve ever seen tangled in my sheets.
She’s mouthy. Stubborn. Completely unimpressed by my fame… Or my abs. She wants this marriage annulled. Immediately.
I tell her I’ll take care of it. But I’m not so sure I want to do that.
Because from the second I kissed her, I knew one thing… I’m never letting her go.
Even if she hates hockey. Even if she swears up and down she wants nothing to do with me. Even when I find out who she really is…
Cassie Hawthorne. The curvy daughter of the GM of the Icehawks. The man I’m about to meet on draft day. The man who wants me to be the face of his team for the next decade.
I should come clean. I should run. But all I want is to drag her back to my hotel room and remind her exactly what happened the night she said I do.
Pucked in Vegas is a fast-paced, enemies-to-lovers, spicy hockey romcom featuring an accidental Vegas marriage, a cocky soon-to-be hockey star who’s obsessed with his secret wife, and the forbidden woman he can’t have.
In the city of high stakes and even higher heels, love can sometimes be a roll of the dice. But after a wild night of adventures, unexpected is just the beginning for our newlyweds. In ‘Viva Las… oh, sh!t’ our accidental couples find themselves hitched. They say Vegas never sleeps. But these lovebirds might never wake from their nightmare.
I'll be the first to admit, I'm not a huge hockey romance fan. I've enjoyed a couple, but also hated most. This one kind of blew me away. It was more to do with the draft and not the actual sport and the accidental drunken marriage between the two characters.
Cassie is a great character - so relatable - so real. I love how they met, and what transpired after. Jax was the perfect choice for her and when he gets a taste, he can't let her go.
"𝑯𝒆'𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆, 𝒉𝒆'𝒔 𝒅𝒆𝒗𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈."
Jax, wanting to prove himself, and yet knows what he has before she does. He's just as strong and you're hoping for his HEA by the end of it, too. I love that it wasn't all about his career and he could take a chance on her.
Really loved this hockey romance. You could just feel the passion and love between Jax and Cassey! Their friends added the fun to this book and the bonus was finding out her dad owned the hockey team that Jax was drafted to.
