Gave My Heart to a Gangsta by Jade Jones had me hooked from beginning to end. I couldn’t put it down—I needed to know what was happening next, especially for Holland. Her story was raw, emotional, and honestly, triggering at times due to the domestic violence she endured at the hands of Crash. He was immature, manipulative, and downright disrespectful. Despite Holland being the best thing that ever happened to him, he treated her terribly, and it was heartbreaking to witness.
Holland’s friendship with Pleasure was one of the highlights of the book. Their sisterhood felt so genuine, which made the betrayal between them and Crash’s secret even more intense. The layers of drama, pain, and loyalty were written in a way that felt so real.
This story had me rooting for Holland’s healing and happiness the entire time. And while I wanted closure, the cliffhanger was perfectly placed—it sets the stage for what’s next, and I’m absolutely ready for the sequel.

Exciting Story
Oh this was definately a good read. Every chance I got, my face was in the book. It started off good and ended with a bang (almost). I can't wait to get into the finale. I know it's gonna be interesting with all the secrets and lies going on between these characters.

This kept me I will say that! I’m not sure I’d, PERSONALLY, consider it a romance. My kind of romance is a different pace. I feel this fell more towards an Urban Fiction with some romance in it.
But girl! This was MESSYYYYY and I ate it up 🤭 I had moments where I was literally sitting up, heart racing it was so crazy. So if you like some drama, mess and a little bit of love, this is for you!

Good book. Jade Jones, gets right to business lol. In the first couple of pages you’re hooked. I usually like to see myself in the FMC of a book but this one here I can honestly say was one I couldn’t relate to but was juicy, messy, chaotic and kept me flipping those pages. One of those good hood books! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
