Father Simon Westerholt and ex-commissioner Lucia Storm find themselves in the crosshairs of a serial killer unlike any they've ever encountered…
Egon Kaplan is a legend—at least on paper. The leading expert on "impossible crimes" has dedicated his life to the highest class of detective novels.
But then theory suddenly becomes gruesome Egon's own daughter falls victim to a murder—so enigmatic that it defies everyone's imagination.
And that's just the beginning. Before Egon can process the initial shock, the murderer strikes again.
Fortunately, Father Simon Westerholt, celebrated by the press as the new Father Brown, has just been transferred to the neighboring monastery—a punishment from his cardinal, who found his detective work and constant snooping “unbecoming for a man of God”…
The story plot is so intriguing and takes twists and turns with every page. I honestly could not stop reading. The way the murders were devised were so unusual that you had to keep reading. The story is fast paced and never.lags. You must read this book for yourself. It is unique and original.
I enjoyed this book! So many twists that kept me guessing till the end. This story was more complicated than the previous books, but still, I could not put this one down. Fun and interesting, highly recommend this one
Probably the best of the series! It reminds me of an Agatha Christie mystery. Im fact the whole series is in that kind of style. This book keeps you guessing right up the end how the impossible crimes are committed.
