Boys of Lake Chapel: The Complete Series

Rate this book
A complete enemies to lovers sports romance series from bestselling author Abby Millsaps. Includes Too Safe, Too Fast, Too Far, Too Sweet, the bonus novella Decker the Halls, and two brand new bonus scenes featuring Joey and her boys.

After years of living in survival mode, I’m finally hitting rewind on the story of my life. There’s nothing standing in the way of my bright future at Lake Chapel University.

Or so I thought.

Being ambushed by four devastatingly attractive football players wasn’t part of my plan. Ironically, they seem just as stupefied by me as I am of them.

Now Decker Crusade thinks I saw something I shouldn’t have, and he’s decided the only way to control the narrative is to control me. There’s nowhere to run, considering Decker and his boys live in a lakeside mansion that can only be accessed by boat.

Apparently, I live here now, too.

They think they can keep me on their isle indefinitely, but there’s something about me they’ve sorely underestimated: my will to finally live.

This box set includes over 1,200 pages of binge-worthy romance that concludes with an epic HEA for Joey and her boys. The Boys of Lake Chapel Box Set includes the following titles:

Abby Millsaps is an author and storyteller who's been obsessed with writing romance since middle school. In eighth grade, she failed to qualify for the Power of the Pen State Championships because all her submissions contained the same theme: young people falling in love. #LookAtHerNow

She's best known for writing unapologetically angsty romance that causes emotional damage for her readers. Abby prides herself in writing authentic characters while weaving mental health, chronic illness, and neurodiverse representation into the fabric of her stories.

Abby met her husband at a house party the summer before her freshman year of college. He had a secret pizza stashed in the trunk of his car that he was saving for a midnight snack—how was she supposed to resist that level of golden retriever energy and preparedness? When Abby isn't writing, she's reading, traveling, and raising her three daughters.

I’m obsessed with The Boys of Lake Chapel, so you can bet that when I saw there was an Omnibus with THREE bonus scenes - I jumped, and high!

Abby served and delivered, like only she can! The bonus scenes were chefs kiss and I’m still obsessed. Especially for my love Stats Daddy!

“Paws off my ride, asshole. And yes, although gender is a social construct and it’s not appropriate to assume you know anything about a person’s identity, I am, in fact, a girl.”

I recently found myself completely captivated by a book, staying up late to finish it in one sitting! This was my first experience with Abby Millsaps, and I loved every moment of it. The book was such a quick read that it left me eager for more. When I signed up for the ARC "Boys of Lake Chapel: The Complete Series," I had no idea I was in for a treat with three books in one! After finishing the first book, I was absolutely itching to dive into the second, especially with that cliffhanger at the end.

This book serves up a delightful ensemble of characters, each with their own unique flair. The sass from our fabulous female main character is spot on—she had me laughing out loud! I love how she dishes it right back at the men, keeping them on their toes. And watch out, because she's always ready to pull a prank or two!

When it comes to choosing a favorite from a "why choose" book, Kylian is currently my top pick; it's hard not to admire him. However, as the story progresses, I'm eager to see who else might rise to the top. Only time will tell if my preference changes.

Josephine has recently earned a scholarship to the university and is now living with her uncle to pursue her education. Despite facing significant challenges throughout her life, including a diagnosis of conversion disorder, she has shown remarkable resilience and strength. Her journey highlights her determination to overcome adversity and build a brighter future.

Kylain, who is neurodivergent and exceptional with numbers, serves as the strategic mind behind the football team, guiding play decisions. He truly values his relationship with Josephine and is dedicated to discovering her preferences. His contributions to the team and care for others highlight his unique strengths and character.

Locke spent his early years in foster care until he was adopted at eight, but his childhood trauma left him with rheumatoid arthritis. Despite this challenge, he remains passionate about football and proudly embraces his emo identity. After betraying Josephine and losing her trust, he is committed to being patient and dedicated in his efforts to earn her forgiveness.

Kendrick, a linebacker whose lupus is currently in remission thanks to experimental treatments, is poised to be a first-round draft pick after his college season. Although little is known about him, it's clear that he has a complicated dynamic with Josephine; whenever she is around, he often gets angry and leaves abruptly. This behavior suggests he might actually have feelings for her, masking his true emotions with frustration.

Decker rules the town and has a powerful influence over everything. With a famous quarterback for a father, he’s determined to follow in his footsteps while protecting his family at all costs. Initially, he may come off as an entitled jerk, but as you learn more about him, you start to see the complexities underneath. By the end, you find yourself rooting for him despite your earlier judgments.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

Too fast

“Now that I know what’s at stake, no one is getting to you. I meant what I said, Jo. You’re mine. I’m never letting you go.”

The cliffhanger left me in tears and made me eager to dive into the next book. Book 2 completely outshines the first, with its intense spice and even hotter characters. I really appreciated the in-depth exploration of Josephine’s past; it was painful yet essential for the narrative. This aspect of her story resonates with so many girls, reminding them they’re not alone. It's powerful to see struggles portrayed so authentically. Ultimately, that connection makes the story even more impactful. Despite experiencing difficult times, we have the ability to heal and create a better future. Our past does not determine our identity but rather shapes who we choose to become.

“Kylian’s been my safe place for weeks. I need him like I need my next breath.”

Kylian, Locke, and Kendrick have all shown significant development throughout the book. I hope Decker can get his act together before he loses everything. He may still have some growing up to do, or perhaps it's that he's been forced to grow up too quickly. Kylian remains my favorite, but the others are starting to win me over as well. Excited to jump into book 3!

“I like it when you get violent on me, baby.” I snort out a laugh. “You would, Emo Boy.”

Too Far

“I’ll try harder. I’ll be better. I’ll hold you in the dark and honor you in every way. I’ll do whatever it takes to make this the life of your dreams. I’ll love you forever and honor you in every way.”

The last book in the series was the longest; while it took me longer to finish, I still found it enjoyable, even if it wasn't my favorite of the three. I thoroughly enjoyed the ending, and the added spice made it even better; this series is definitely one I’ll remember.

The characters have all experienced remarkable growth in a short time, highlighting how one individual can positively impact your life.

Kylian, or should I say “Daddy Genius,” will always be my favorite; his extraordinary devotion to her warms my heart. I truly love this man. Once they all identify their roles and the rules, I believe they establish a great dynamic. Making it an undeniable connection and love they all share that I truly envy.

Abby’s writing in this book was incredible, and now that it’s over, I find myself looking forward to reading more of her work. I love a good found family, and why choose book!

“I need to know you’re okay more than I need good sleep tonight, baby. Come down and let me take care of you.” My heart patters out of my chest at his confession. Kylian is my rock, my safety, my harbor, and my anchor. He rarely communicates his own needs to me. It doesn’t come naturally to him.

Boys of Lake Chapel: The Complete Series

“I watch you because I’m obsessed with you. Every breath you take, I want to witness. Each little sigh in your sleep, I want to hear. Every smile. Every grimace. I want to see them all. I need to remember them. Commit them to memory.”

I absolutely loved this entire series, especially the bonus scenes! It's so wonderful to see how the characters' lives unfold years later. It really ties everything together and gives a satisfying sense of closure. What disappoints me most in a book is the lack of insight into its ending and how the future unfolds. Unlike most books that leave me wanting more, this one truly made me feel satisfied.

I would absolutely reread this series without hesitation and might even grab the audiobook for another listen. It's definitely a captivating "why choose" series that I wholeheartedly recommend.

Super story and seggs scenes 🥰
This omnibus has all three books combined with the epilogue novella and bonus scenes slotted throughout- really appreciated they were highlight and out in the timeline rather than at the end so it flowed nicely!
The overall story follows Josephine, she’s new to town and manages to gain the wrong kind of attention from the kings of the college and the town they live in 😖 kidnapped and held captive on an isle, forced proximity really wins out here 😆 Nicky Locke was lust at first sight for JoJo and they found they had far more in common and brings a lightness to her life; Kylian with his neurodivergence becomes Joeys rock and safe space with his black and white view of the world and his fierce protection of her needs; K is the gruff bear of the group reserved yet when he goes in he goes all in and into full on love bear mode; and then there’s Decker, with his big decker energy antagonistic till the end but would do anything to protect his family 🥰 these men are a great mix of characteristics and a good balance to Jo. Our FMC has a tragic past that you learn off throughout this book and then she has these men to deal with, she shows the steel inner she has and that instinct to survive, especially on her own 😩 yet once they get over their clashing personalities, mixed wires and walls this might just be the found family she’s been searching for 😍 and honestly when they come together it’s all you could want for them 💗
There is some outside drama in this book but mostly the angst comes from the characters themselves.
The spicy scenes in this book are just 🔥🌶️🔥🌶️ there’s a mix between singular scenes and group scenes throughout with plenty of variety in all that they do to focus on their girl 😜
The epilogues are all you could want for these guys and show the glimpses into a future they’ve worked hard for 😀 great to have the whole collection in one!

Let the SCREAMING COMMENCE!!! The way I went FERAL seeing that the delicious boys of Lake Chapel are all in ONE PLACE with bonus chapters and extra stories??? FERAL..ON MY KNEES! If you have never read Abby Millsaps, this is the PERFECT place to start.

The Boys of Lake Chapels is an omnibus that contains
*Too Safe
*Too Fast
*Too Far
*Too Sweet
*Decker the Halls
*3 bonus scenes
*epilogues

This story is about Josephine. She’s new in town and becomes the object of obsession for the kings of college the minute they lay eyes on her. Her life is about to get turned upside down and change forever now that she belongs to 4 very different men.

Nicky…the first to spot her. The attraction between them was instant on both ends. He’s her light in the darkness with his playfulness and pure love.

Kylian is our neurodivergent daddy dom with slutty glasses. He’s quiet and unassuming, but in the bedroom he’s all business and he’s the one in charge. He’s protective and ultimately becomes Josephine’s safe space

Kendrick is reserved and quiet. But loves with his whole heart. The boys and Joey are his family and he will never let them go. He’s very slow to move when it comes to Joey. He’s cautious and holds her at an arms length until he can’t anymore.

Decker…big decker energy lol you want to punch him but love him all at the same time. He’s the grump with a heart of gold. Trying to hide his feelings and emotions but he’s truly a big teddy bear.

All of the characters have trauma…they are struggling to navigate this life they have created and are trying to protect. It’s heartbreaking at times but also beautiful how they all come together to love THEIR woman. For them, she’s it. And they don’t mind sharing her as long as they all get to keep her. They each bring something different to Josephine’s life…each love her in a way that she needs. Together they become her everything and she is theirs.

This is a reverse harem story…the spice is SPICING!! 🥵🥵 all sorts of pairings but Josephine is ALWAYS the star of the show. There are no MM scenes.

I loved being able to see how they all evolve and grow together. Life changes and becoming parents !! 🥹🥹🥹 my heart. This whole series is everything! It’s a must read ! Don’t think. Just pick it up and get lost in the story of Joey and her men 💜

My favorite series in one box set with every word that’s ever been written for them!? Plus bonus scenes!? Loved it. Loved the new scenes and loved having everything all together.

Let me be so clear about something. This is my favorite series ever. It has become a comfort series that I will always reread the books and relisten to the audiobooks! With this release I HAD to reread it again and all the bonus scenes and stories that have ever been written for this series was all here, in one ebook!! There’s just something about these books, these characters, this story that feels like coming home. If you haven’t read it yet- do it. And if you have read it - reread it! There’s all new bonus scenes!!!

I absolutely loved this series! They were the first books I’ve read by this author & they made me dive into the rest of the books she’s written. I’m a huge sucker for RH lately & this group dynamic was good plus all the drama & secrets. Made for such a great & enjoyable read. I loved that you can just keep reading after each kinda cliffhanger instead of having to open another book, plus we got some never before seen chapters & novellas. Loved it!

Had So Much Fun Reading This!

Star Rating:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Steam Rating:🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

This was my first time reading this series, which has been rereleased as a box set with new and previously released bonus material.

I had so much fun reading this series! I honestly wasn’t sure what I was expecting, but I think I was expecting it to be a bit darker so it both met and didn’t meet my expectations.

Joey is our FMC, she’s new to town, looking for a fresh start after a very traumatic experience. And on her first day in town she runs into the big guy on campus, and his friends. Not exactly a welcoming party but she’s intrigued by them and vise versa.

Now this is a reverse harem romance, with 4 guys. I actually quite enjoyed their dynamic and the way the relationship was discussed throughout.

All 4 guys are best friends and live together. When Joey accidentally runs into 2 of them, doing something she has no idea about but they think she knows something and is then forced to live with them so she doesn’t reveal their secrets. I quite enjoyed that scenario and the way it played out.

While some of the relationships come easy, some are hard fought and honestly not worth it in my opinion.

Decker is kind of the leader in all of this but my god was he the most frustrating one, his up and down emotions, one minute he’s in, the next he’s out. All while saying it’s best for her but it’s clearly not.

I loved Nicky, Kylian and Kendrick, I honestly think that foursome worked better as Decker got jealous too often and didn’t think things through. The other 3 were better at communicating but Joey loved them all.

One of the things enjoyed in the first two books was the little of suspense/danger that occurred, won’t spoil it but it really brought most of them closer and strengthened their relationships.

I will admit that by 75% I was a little over the story and just wanted it to end, nothing major was really happening to keep me hooked. At just over 1300 pages it was a big book to read and while it was enjoyable and easy to read I think I just had enough of the characters and needed a break but I did love the ending and that they all got their happy ending.

All in all if you like college football romance, with a reverse harem, some great spice and a bit of suspense then I definitely recommend!

I will also definitely be reading the spin off series as I’m super intrigued by 2 characters that were heavily featured and involved. I need to know their story/history!

Boys of Lake Chapel: The Complete Series includes Too Safe, Too Fast, Too Far, Too Sweet, Decker the Halls, and 3 brand new bonus scenes. It follows Joey, Decker, Kylian, Locke, and Kendrik.

This was my first time reading the Boys of Lake Chapel series and I wish I had read it sooner because I kid you not I read the whole thing (1300+ pages) in about 4 days. I could not put it down.

Joey hasn’t always had an easy life but she is so freaking strong and so sweet. I loved her character so much because she was really relatable. She met the boys on her first day at Lake Chapel and her life was never the same. Decker is a control freak and the protector of the unit but also a secret sweetheart. Locke is the playful, but sweet one. Kylian is the smart one and Joey’s safe place. Kendrik is the grump with a heart of gold. Each male also has their struggles throughout the book and honestly, some of them broke my heart. However, they had each other to lean on.

I love that in a way each book focuses on a specific male but also the unit as a whole: Too Safe is Locke and Kylian, Too Fast is Kendrik and Too Far is Decker. One of my favorite things was that each male character had a different relationship and pacing with Joey. Some moved fast like Locke and Kylian while others took longer to marinate. Their banter together and separately made me laugh as well as giddy at times. The boys and Joey all had such strong and crazy chemistry together. They also had so many nicknames for each other depending on their mood and I really enjoyed that! Like Kylian having the nickname daddy .. YES PLEASE.

This collection will make you feel all of the emotions from sadness to joy and everything in between. I could not recommend this series enough!

You will enjoy this book if you like the following:
- Reverse harem
- College football
- Forced proximity
- Enemies to lovers
- Found family
- Group fun
- Chronic illness rep
- Neurodivergent rep
- Mental health rep

Forever the series that made me fall in love with the writing of Abby Millsaps. And now you can get the ENTIRE series (including the bonus novella) as well as some charming bonus content all in one GIRTHY compilation. (Girthy like Joey's men...wink wink). This series is everything I love about Abby's writing- it's immersively character driven, profoundly existential, deftly emotionally resonant, wildly entertaining, and sparkles with a cohort of the most endearing, flawed, beautiful, and healing characters you'll ever meet. I just adore this world- and I was so excited to be back for a little bonus fun!

Abby treats you to the entire series and three bonus scenes that have a little something for everyone. A beautiful return to the mind of our dear Joey and meaningful but quiet moments with each of our guys, an epically sexy post HEA treat, and perhaps the best of all, a heartshattering, swoony, devastating and beautiful visit to the mind of our mercurial, dreamy, broken man Decker that took my breath away. Gasp, I love them so.

**The Boys of Lake Chapel Box Set includes the following titles:

Too Safe
Too Fast
Too Far
Too Sweet
Decker the Halls

AND it includes three amazing bonus scenes!

Format: 📱 eBook 📱 (ARC)
Check CWs before reading

Just as I was about to sit down and start this series, Ms. Millsaps let her ARC team know that an omnibus was coming. I'd been planning on reading Jo's story since I finished Hunter's series (yup, trust me to read out of order!) and this was the perfect excuse to sit down and read it, and with bonus content, too!

What I wasn't prepared for was how I'd fall in love with Jo and her boys just as much as I did with Hunter and her cohort.

This series is amazing. I loved it, from start to finish. The drama, the angst, the push and pull between the main characters. Millsaps has once more balanced the emotion with the story, the spice with the romance and the relationship development (and holy shnitz, that spice be spicing!). There was suspense and chaos, genuinely felt emotions and a couple of times I was asking "how will they get their HEA" (again, my fault for reading South Chapel first), but when they did - it was magical. Hard fought, but magical.

Jo is a fighter. She's been through so much, and I love that even though she has demons to cope with, she doesn't lose her spark, her feistiness, her essence. Her growth through the series is phenomenal, and it's not only with the help of her men, but also on her own terms, and with the assistance of Hunter, her new ride-or-die (let me tell you, theirs is a friendship to be envious of).

The men. Two words. Stats Daddy. Seriously, I understand the hype behind Kylian now. Holy crap, I was not ready; both for the Daddy, and for the non. His neurodiverse self was written impeccably, and I loved reading his interactions with Jo and the guys as he developed and grew as a character.
Locke and Kendrick and their chronic illness rep were fantastic, and I love that even though Locke feels it, he never really loses his spark. And Kendrick - I honestly didn't think he'd turn around quite as he did, but oh man, I was here for it (and I'm a sucker for him calling Jo "Mama").
Decker. I both wanted to absolutely throttle Decker but also wrap him in the biggest hug and tell him everything would be okay. Dear goodness does he go through it, but I'm so glad when he does take his head out of his ass (however short-lived it is) to work on what matters once he realises.

I'm so glad I finally read Jo's story, and honestly can't wait to see if there will be more in this universe.

Thank you to the author for the eARC opportunity. These are my honest thoughts that I have provided voluntarily.

If you love Friday Night Lights, your favourite character Tim Riggins, but given the option you wouldn’t have to c choose between him, Jason Street, Luke Cafferty then *ding, ding, ding* this book is for you.
Boys of Lake Chapel felt like a moodier, darker, more spicy version of Friday Night Lights, where we don’t have to choose, because where is the fun in that.

Kylian was my favourite no questions. The way he loved and cared Jo, he really was down bad. His black and white ways and the way he could read her and know exactly what she needed

Sometimes the spice felt like it overtook the plot, I am assuming all the spice was suppose to so the connection between Jo and the boy, but a fair few times it almost read like only two people (Jo+1) would interact at a time and the others would be *where* just standing around.

The interacting between Jo and the boys made up for this, some parts were just chefs kiss. The part when she is sick and they are all looking after her!!! Dear.

This did feel like a long read, but from the 30-50% mark I devoured this, then I struggle before devouring from the 70-80% mark. The last novella just a fun, spicy read.

Some of the nicknames did make cringe, Hot Girl, Emo Boy, Mama. But this is a me problem, I’m just a big fan of the simple babe/baby/love nickname. I’m basic girly when it comes to that.

In saying Alllllllll this, the book had the ✨vibes, vibes, vibes✨ and that was what I was hoping for!!

Thank you to Abby and Valentine PR for the arc and opportunity to read and review!

Sometimes being late to the party isn't so bad. And in the case, being late to read this series paid off because I would've cried having to wait for each book to release.
And I got to read the novella plus a few extras with this - perfection!

This entire collection of all 3 books plus all the extra goodies is perfection!! I will write a review for each book under their respective books but let me tell you - Abby knows how to write a phenomenal series and keep each book engaging and intriguing for the reader.

I love how each book allowed the reader to see how Abby and her boys relationships develop - not only together but her with each of them individually. There are some heavy topics that in this series but Abby handles them with grace while still keeping it real and raw.

I read her other series, Boys of South Chapel before I read this and I loved seeing the connections between the two series. They are completely separate reads but it's always more enjoyable when you see how they can intertwine.

And those bonus pieces we get in this box set - LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! As I said, I am so glad that I read this entire series in one big read.

Abby is my go-to for coming of age, college romance series. And she writes Reverse Harem/Why Choose so incredibly well.

BUY THIS BOX SET!!

I’ve been wanting to read The Boys of Lake Chapel series for so long, so when I get this ARC from Abby and Valentine I was so excited. I didn’t realize what a treat I was in for. I absolutely loved this entire series and the bonus scenes were 🤌🏽 seeing how their lives ended up years later left me feeling satisfied and not wanting more, like I feel so often with books. Abby’s writing is incredible and I cannot wait to read more from her.

This story follows Josephine and Kylian, Locke, Kendrick and Decker. Kylian is neurodivergent and strategically exceptional. Locke spent his early childhood years in foster care, which left him with rheumatoid arthritis. Kendrick is a linebacker with lupus. And Decker rules the town and has a powerful influence over anyone and anything. The boys (well, mostly… cough cough Decker) all showed significant character development throughout the books. Kylian, was definitely my favorite of all the boys. I truly loved him. Buttttt why choose, right? Once they established their roles and rules, they really did have a great dynamic. They had incredible connections and love for each other.

Overall, loved this. I will soon write reviews for each book individually

Holy damn I enjoyed every second of this series and I'm so glad I signed up for an arc of the entire series! Abby Millsaps has been on my radar for a very long time and I'm so glad that I finally read this series! I really loved Joey she was a really great FMC, and I LOVED the guy's Decker, Locke, Kendrik, and Kylian so much. I really loved the plot, and I didn't see a few of the twists coming. The chemistry between Joey and the guys were so strong for each of them. I cannot wait to read Hunter's books! I loved her as a side character!

Just slay me dead because this series just wrecked me in the best way. I ARC read the first two books in the South Chapel series and so I wanted to read the Lake Chapel series to have the full picture. It had been on my TBR forever and now I’m mad at myself for waiting for so long. Jo and her boys were just perfection. I appreciated the longing between her and Decker - and the uniqueness of how long it took for them to finally come together (though I was pissed while I was reading it.) I, of course, am a on team #StatsDaddy. But I’m riding hard for the whole family. This was spicy, but so sweet. Heartbreaking but beautiful. Make sure to check the trigger warnings!

thank you to Abby Millsaps and VPR for the opportunity to have this beauty!

I looooove that the entire series is now available in one big beautiful package!!

I adore these characters, and getting to revisit them all again was a great ride that I enjoyed even more the second time around! Throw in that there are never before released bonus scenes, it made it all the more fun, and hotttt! Lawd are these four hot AF!! Abby Millsaps is a queen of why choose spicy spice that also packs a ton of heart, emotions, & LOVE!

I love Joey and her boys so much, and even though I love them all, Decker (stubborn grouch ha!) and Stats Daddy do things to my heart, and other lady bits haha!!

1000% recommend this one for fulfilling your why choose dreams!

Thank you, Abby and VPR for the ARC! ♡

OMG. What an absolute ride this was! Bear with me because I have a feeling this is going to be a long one. I read the series in four days, and honestly, I could’ve finished it in two because I just didn’t want to put it down!! My heart genuinely hurts now that I’ve finished. I got so attached to these characters that reaching the end felt like saying goodbye to something really special.

Words don’t feel like enough to express how much I adored every single one of them—Josephine, Kylian, Decker, Locke, and Kendrick. They each made me feel something. Whether it was relating to them, being mad at their choices, smiling at their banter, or crying through their pain, they pulled me in completely.

I went into this blindly and I was expecting a lighthearted, spicy, and fun story. And yes, it definitely had those moments. But as we learn about each character’s past, the story takes on a depth I wasn’t prepared for. It hurt in the best way, because no one—absolutely no one—deserved the kind of pain they went through before they found each other.

I absolutely fell in love with all the characters, but I have to admit, I’m totally biased when it comes to Kylian. I have such a soft spot for nerdy guys with filthy mouths, and he completely stole the show for me. He’s hands down my favourite character. His POV was so distinctive every single time, and I found myself genuinely looking forward to every scene he was in. He’s an absolute menace in the best way—blunt, sassy, and unapologetically himself. I also really appreciated how Abby approached the topic of Kylian being on the spectrum. It’s such a delicate subject, and she handled it with so much care and nuance. It felt respectful, honest, and added another layer to his character that made me love him even more.

Decker, our bossy captain. I can’t say I agreed with all of his decisions because there were definitely times he frustrated me, especially when he wouldn’t stand up for himself or his friends. But the more I read, the more I understood him. He was trying to protect the people he loves in the only way he knew how. Honestly, it’s safe to say he’s a bit of a people pleaser, and you can tell how much it scares him to let anyone down. I really admire him. For all his bossiness, you can clearly see how much the boy, and Josephine need him. Josephine might be the heart that keeps everyone grounded, but Decker is just as essential to holding them all together. He’s a core part of what makes their little found family work, and I love him for that.

Locke was such a fun character right from the start. But of course, it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows. His past and his deep-rooted insecurities absolutely broke my heart. The way he expects not to be chosen first, because he’s so used to being overlooked—it just freaking gutted me. He doesn’t think he’s important enough to be anyone’s priority, and that mindset shattered me. I wanted to smack some sense into him and hug him at the same time.

Kendrick was someone I didn’t expect to love. Just like Josephine, I was surprised to see how emotionally intelligent he is. Tbh, probably the most out of all of them, despite being the grumpiest (Decker is a close second). Aside from Kylian, Kendrick is the most mature of the group. He’s not afraid to call people out when needed, especially Decker, and push them to deal with their issues. I ended up loving him so much more than I thought I would.

And Josephine—my girl. Yes, there were moments when she frustrated me, but for the most part, I just wanted to wrap her in a big hug. Everything she went through should never have happened. Her childhood and teen years were filled with pain, and she had to go through most of it alone. But despite it all, she came out strong and resilient. What I especially loved was how Abby portrayed her vulnerability. She may seem tough on the outside, but there are still moments where her past catches up with her. And that’s okay. We all carry trauma, and sometimes it never fully goes away. Sometimes, it never gets easier. And that honesty made her even more real to me.

Hunter definitely deserves a spot as one of my favourite characters because she’s the kind of best friend everyone deserves!! She’s fiercely loyal, loving, sweet, and dependable. She’s the ultimate ride or die and would go above and beyond to make sure her best friend never feels alone or unwanted.

The pacing of the story may have felt rushed in some parts, and there were moments where I wasn’t entirely sure how much time had passed. It didn’t bother me too much, but I do wish it had been a little clearer during key events. A small note at the start of a chapter about the time or month would’ve helped.

What really surprised me was how much I ended up loving the filler chapters. Normally, I’d think they might drag the story down, but in this case, they were perfect. I craved those simple, quiet moments between the characters. I completely fell in love with Abby’s writing. She has a way of pulling you in from the very first chapter, and somehow, I was never bored throughout all 1,200-plus pages. Her storytelling is so engaging that reading the entire series felt incredibly effortless and fun.

Overall, this is a series I highly recommend if you’re in the mood for a college romance with a strong found family theme and a why-choose dynamic.

I think this series is one of my all time favourite RH series to exist. Everything about it is just perfect and I will shout from the rooftops about this book until the day I die hehe

Too Safe:

Too Safe is the first instalment of the boys of lake chapel series and it is SO good! It’s the first time I have read a book by Abby and I was not disappointed in the slightest!

This book is a reverse harem, grumpy x sunshine and college football romance. In this book, we see the romance start to bud between some of the characters but I know in more books to come, it’s going to be explosive between all of them!

The book starts off with us meeting Jo, a woman who was in a tough living situation but trying the best as possible to make the most of it. Quickly into the book, we find out that her situation has changed for the better and she makes her way to lake chapel to start college and live with her uncle.

We quickly meet the ‘boys of lake chapel’ who mistake Jo for somebody else but can tell straight away that they become intrigued by her. So when an accidental mishap of bumping into each other at the wrong place and wrong time happens, they decide to take Jo for themselves and make her live in their mansion in the middle of the sea!

I liked the storyline of this book. It was well written and displayed each man’s personality differently. It was nice to see how they went from guarded around Jo to opening up in their own way. I have to say that Kylian is 100% my favourite. He was so sweet to Jo and reminded me of my boyfriend. I loved the other men and I know that they will have an amazing relationship with Jo as the book goes on by Kylian has stolen my heart!

This book had quite the cliffhanger! So I will now be immediately diving into book 2 🫡

Too Fast:

✨ 4.5 stars ✨

Honestly, I’m not sure what to think right now. That cliffhanger was NASTY and I’m desperate to read on, but I need to gather my thoughts first and write this review.

Too Fast continues straight on from where Too Safe ends. The men are searching restlessly for Jo, who has been kidnapped by the rival football team. The amount of relief I felt when they found Jo quickly and before anything bad could really happen was a lot.

From the start of this book, you really realise just how possessive these men have become. They all would do anything to find her along with making sure she was safe in every way possible once she returned back to the mansion. Their relationships start to develop with Jo as the book goes along too and they’re all different which I really like as well. I’m looking forward to a scene where they all get spicy with each other!!

I would say this book is the heaviest in the series so far in terms of dark topics. We find out a lot about Jo’s past and what sadly happened to her but it makes me realise how strong she actually is and how well she has overcome so much. To be honest, I thought the same when she overcame the kidnapping. As much as it did wallow in her mind for a while, she did everything she could to not let it define her and move on from it. And that makes her such an incredible character.

There was quite a bit to find out about the lake chapel boy’s pasts too. Not all of them had a troubled past but for the ones that did, I did really feel for them.

I think my favourite scene had to be when Jo stood up to Misty! I’ve never liked that woman and found her to be such a bitch! I won’t say what happened because I don’t want to give spoilers but that had me gasping and cheering for joy 🤩

Anyway, I will be running off to read the next book now 🏃‍♀️

Too Far:

I am so devastated that I’ve finished this series 😭 the boys of lake chapel will always hold a special place in my heart because they are simply imperfectly perfect 🤌🏼

Once again, the book started exactly where it left off. With Kendrick taking Lockes place when the cops arrived to arrest someone for assault. Honestly this shocked me so much when he intervened. I didn’t expect that at all.

I found that nothing much came from that afterwards though. Kendrick got released and then it was never really discussed again apart from a brief explanation which I felt made it fall a bit short then as it was made into such a big cliffhanger.

This book was simply a whirlwind. So much happened and had me desperately reading more. I found myself staying up late reading without even realising. I never usually stay up late reading so that’s really saying something!

I loved the chapters that were put in many years later. It gave me the closure I needed but also made me want to read more about them being a family 🥹 I didn’t even realise that I needed that!

I have a very good suspicion that hunter and greedy are going to be a couple in the next series. I’ve had that feeling throughout the entirety of this series and from what I’ve seen on goodreads, her book is a whychoose series so I’m so looking forward to that too 😭

Too Sweet:

I loved reading about Joey and her gang again, especially as this book was themed around Valentine’s Day! It was ‘too sweet’ getting to read about everyone and what they have been getting up to and all their spicyness 🤭

Josephine is ready for a fresh start, her future bright at Lake Chapel University, after living in survival mode for so long, it’s finally her time, until she saw something that she shouldn’t have, and now Decker Crusade has decided that to control the narrative is to control her.

Only it’s not just him she has to contend with, it’s also Locke, Kylian and Kendrick, devastatingly attractive football players. Not only does she need to survive them, she has to survive them in a lakeside mansion, where she now apparently lives.

The funny thing about plans is that they’re not always set, and Josephine is about to shake their carefully laid plans, they may be stupefied now, the feeling mutual, but they’ve severely underestimated her and her will to live and they ain’t seen nothing yet.

Locke and Kylian fell fast and hard for Josephine, it took a-bit of time for Kendrick to come around, but once he did, he was a goner. Decker, Decker, Decker. His and Josephine’s relationship to love was the longest and the hardest. What his friends gave her, he couldn’t, denying himself, he broke her heart, and they didn’t let him forget it. For all his faults and stubbornness, the one thing he can’t control has him spiralling, scared of what could be, a love like no other, until Kendrick helps him see the error of his ways, and boy does Josephine make him work for it.

But between all that, they must navigate everything else in life, social standing, parties, school and football, especially where Decker, Locke, Kylian and Kendrick are concerned. They must be in peak physical condition, however there are secrets that could destroy everything they’ve built, and when Josephine learns those secrets, does she understand the magnitude of what those secrets could do to their family.

However, Josephine has secrets of her own, the boys pick up on small things, triggers she easily identifies herself, one social situation tips her over the edge, leaving them wrecked in ways they couldn’t have anticipated, because the impact of that one night gives Josephine the power to open up about her trauma, what she endured as a teenager. She is raw, open and honest and it leaves her BFF Hunter and her guys in a state of disbelief. When they look at Josephine they see a strong, confident and capable woman who can handle anything thrown her way.

As Josephine becomes entrenched in their lives, does she learn who they are, peeling back the individual layers down to the core. Because they all come with their own personalities and dynamics, their own trauma. This cohesive unit have a strong bond, one that goes beyond friendship, their family, and that is the most important thing to them. And now, Josephine understands them not only on a personal level but an intimate level as well.

But the weight of their responsibilities, more-so Decker’s is causing their family to unravel. Locke, Kylian and Kendrick will do anything and everything to keep Josephine safe, they understand the need for privacy, but Decker’s legacy allows for no such thing, and when it puts her life in danger time and again, something needs to give. For them to have the future they truly deserve Decker needs to let go of his ironclad control, sacrifice a dream that’s no longer his, or risk loosing the love of the only woman to have captured his heart along with his family, and in the end he makes right choice, because Josephine and their family are worth it.

The time jumps give the readers a lot of insight into their future, personally in their relationship with each other and as parents to their four beautiful children - Archer, Dahlia, Dylan and Brendan, but also their professional careers, their growth and development which saw them become more successful in their chosen professions, something they couldn’t have done without each other and the love for their family. The ultimate yet bittersweet happily ever after ever!

But more importantly there are some sexy scenes that will live absolutely rent free in my head. Because this author puts the kink in kinky, the spice in spicy and the smut in smutty. Because not only was their love carnal it was primal. Daddy Kylian packed the daddy vibes, because when it came to satisfying their Hot Girl/ Baby/ Siren/ Mama, it was all about her, her pleasure, her wants and needs, consent in their relationship, the most valuable thing to Josephine, giving her choice and control. It took a lot of convincing to get Decker out of his head, out of his mindset and once he hid, there was no way they could keep the “my wife” vibes contained.

It was hot, sweet, steamy, sinfully wicked, dirty and deliciously depraved. Their limits knew no bounds, each giving equal amounts of pleasure and pain, taking everything they all had to give, all giving back in equal measure.

Highly recommend both the author and book, as she was a first for me. I can’t wait to read what she writes next.

I received an ARC. Therefore, I am submitting a voluntary review.

I stayed up way too late but I devoured this series, it’s that good. Completely obsessed, emotionally wrecked, and 100% in love with Boys of Lake Chapel. The Complete Series by Abby Millsaps is my first dive into her work, and I’m officially hooked. It the kind of story that pulls you in and refuses to let go. This complete collection includes all three full length novels, an epilogue novella, and bonus scenes woven seamlessly into the timeline (major bonus points for that thoughtful touch!).

At the heart of it is Josephine, the new girl in town who unexpectedly becomes the center of gravity for four (well, five ) uniquely broken, beautiful boys. Each one of them brings something different into her life, and together they create a love story that is raw, complex, and impossible to put down.

The Boys of Lake Chapel:

Locke: (Nick) The first to fall for Josephine. He’s the light in the darkness pure-hearted, playful, and absolutely devoted. His journey is one of growth and redemption after betraying Josephine’s trust. He’s determined to earn back what he lost, and watching him try, fail, and keep fighting made my heart ache in the best way. He reminds her (and us) what love should feel like.

Kylian: (Daddy genius) is the quiet, neurodivergent Daddy Dom with "nerdy glasses" genius with a mind for strategy he’s the quiet observer in the group. He’s firm in the bedroom, but in everyday life, he’s attentive, tender, and determined to learn Joey’s needs. His care for her, and his place on the team, show how powerful quiet strength can be. Her ultimate safe space.

Kendrick is guarded and thoughtful. He’s stoic, a bit of a mystery, and clearly struggling with deep feelings for Joey that come out sideways through anger, frustration, and distance. The slow burn king who doesn’t give his love lightly but when he does? It devastates (in the best way).

Decker… oh, Decker. The grumpy golden boy. Son of a legendary quarterback, town royalty, and an infuriating enigma. At first, you want to hate him. A grumpy teddy bear with walls around his heart. He’s arrogant and guarded but the more you learn about his past, his motives, and the weight he carries, the more your heart cracks open for him. His major “Big Decker Energy.” You’ll want to slap him and hug him in the same breath.

All of these boys carry trauma, and so does Josephine. They’re messy, human, and healing in real time. But together, they love Josephine fiercely and she loves them back just as fiercely. Her story isn’t about choosing between them. It’s about belonging to all of them, and creating something new, raw, and real together. This story isn’t just about steamy romance either (though there’s plenty of that). It’s about love in all its messy, complicated beauty. About belonging. About building a future even through pain.

Yes, it’s reverse harem. Yes, the spice is SPICING creative, emotional, and always about Josephine. (No MM scenes, for those wondering.) But this series is more than steam. It’s heartbreak. Found family. Healing. Transformation. Even them become parents!! Heart melting. Just watching them all grow into the next stage of life together!! Chef’s kiss.

This series is everything I didn’t know I needed. If you’re on the fence, don’t hesitate. Pick it up, dive in, and lose yourself in the unforgettable love story of Joey and her men.

If you love emotionally rich romance with high heat, real stakes, layered characters, and plotlines that hurt so good, just stop scrolling and read this. Joey and her men are unforgettable.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

This the the complete Boy's of Lake Chapel series in one book. I had never read this series but it was on my wish list. This book contains Too Safe, Too Fast, Too Far, Too Sweet, Decker the Halls, and two bonus scenes.

This is the story of Joey, Decker, Kylian, Kendrick, and Locke. Joey is a girl who has gone to school to be a cosmetologist and is working in a senior center. One of her clients though passes away and leaves her some money. This is all that Joey needs to fulfill the promise she made to that lady to live her life. Get out and do the things she wants to do. Joey decides she is ready to go to college and get her degree. She has a uncle she can live with and is so grateful for his help. Being a older student on campus it does't take her long to realize who the big men on campus are and she is really attracted to Locke to begin with. They have a date and a moment. When she gets a job at a spa, she never expected for Locke and one of his buddies Kendrick to show up. But when she approaches them as they are leaving the response she gets from them is shocking and concerning. Now she finds herself taken to Decker's house and told she could not leave without one of the guys with her until they make sure that she is not about to spill what she has just seen. However, Joey never saw a thing. But Decker refuses to believe her no matter how many times she says she didn't see. All of these guys are involved with the football team. Decker has a father that is a really famous football player to this day. He is the protege. The future Star and the plan is for he and Kendrick to join the draft together. Locke has other plans and I don't want to say way. Kylian is a guy who is all about numbers, and this is how he finds his peace. He suffers from ADHD and has certain ways with coping. However, he is so smart that he is the guy show does the stats and calls the plays during their games. When he is tasked with watching Joey and her being with him during the games they quickly form a bond. However, everything is not as it seems and I don't know that I can tell you more about this story. This book reads more like one constant story and I really loved that. The ending of one book, I don't think I even noticed I was so focused on this story. At times I was on the edge of my seat at the things that were going on in the book. I loved all the guys. They each brought something different to the table but I really loved how they cared for and took care of Joey. They all had nicknames for her so it wasn't confusing to know which one was speaking to her. Decker was a little bit of a hard butt, who at times would really get under my skin. But he is also the leader of the pack for lack of better words. I loved reading this book. I was so invested in what was going to happen next. I really felt of Joey at times. The girl has such intense panic attacks that you could feel them bleeding off the page. I have panic attacks and I'd almost lose my breath at times reading what she was going through. This of course is a why choose romance. One that you are going to love every single second of. You do not want to miss it.

Wow. What a fun and crazy ride I was just taken on. This complete 4 book series gave me “Boys of Brayshaw,” “Pucking Around,” and the “Ravenhood Series” vibes. And a huge plus reading this whole collection all at once…. NO CLIFFHANGERS!! It has alotttttt of spice, a polyamorous relationship, protectiveness and adoration that makes you swoon, and did I mention there’s a lot of spice already ?!? 🥵

Josephine, the FMC, had some trauma before moving in with her uncle in Lake Chapel. One things for sure, she never let her past trauma tear her down or define her. It made her into such a strong character who knows exactly what she wants and deserves.

Jo runs into “The Crusades” on her very first day at Lake Chapel University. Decker, Locke, Kylian, and Kendrick, end up changing her life in such a good and exciting way. She started to feel more at ease and developed a true family with endless amounts of love. The way this relationship started was veryyyyy interesting. To say it simply, she ends up getting 4 new roommates! 😜

How lucky can a girl be to have 4 guys wanting her and ONLY her. They do anything and everything to protect their girl and give her the world. I fell in love with all 4 MMC’s and each of their personalities! They all brought something different to the table and all grew in so many ways.

Decker Crusade- the star QB, who has a hard exterior, but ends up being the most sensitive of the group. It takes him a while to navigate in this relationship between the girl he’s falling in love with, and with friends who have been like brothers to him. He definitely is seen to have the most growth throughout these books.

Nicholas Lockewood- ah! my first love of this series. A tatted football player who is just so sweet and sexy, and was the first to pursue Jo.

Kylian Walsh- the hot computer nerd who is on the spectrum. He makes Jo feel so safe and ends up being pretty bossy in the bedroom. 😜

Kendrick Taylor- Another football player who wasn’t the friendliest when we were first introduced to him, but boy did he grow on me and showed us his real colors and feelings.

Anyone who reads this will absolutely love it and won’t be able to put these books down. There’s so much love, spice, growth, and other surprises along the way. We also see some mental and chronic health issues the group deals with on a daily basis.

I’ll definitely be reading more by Abby Millsaps. 🖤

Boys of Lake Chapel The Complete series has all of the books in the Boys of Lake Chapel series from Abby Millsaps. These titles include Too Safe, Too Fast, Too Far, Too Sweet, Kendrick and Decker the Halls.

Too Safe is the first book in the Boys of Lake Chapel series. In this book we get to meet Josephine. She moves in with her uncle, and is learning life at her new school. While at the school she meets Nicholas (Locke), Kylian, Decker, and Kendrick.

The guys believe she sees something she shouldn't have and they kidnap her to live with them. As she gets to know the guys she realizes there is more behind each of them that what she originally seamed. She starts to have feelings for all of them.

Too Fast is the second book in the series. This book starts off right after book one ends. This book starts off with something happening to Josephine, and the guys realize they will do anything to keep her safe. As the book goes on her relationship grows with the guys.

This book delves deeper into her past, as well as some of the guys pasts as well. Something happens at the end of this book, that could tear her apart from one or more of the guys.

Too Far is the third book in this series. This book starts off right where book two ends. This book has some twists I didn't see coming. Josephine's bonds are growing with the guys, but one of them does something that hurts her and could rip them apart for good.

Will she get her happy ending with all 4 or her guys? Or will she have to settle for just three?

Too Sweet is a smaller novella that takes place during the other stories, before the epilogue. It's a special story about how they spend Valentine's Day.

Kendrick is a new bonus story told from Kendrick's point of view from the NFL Combine.

Decker the Halls is a holiday novella story set 13 years after the series ends. It was nice to see how everyone is doing now.

As a whole I enjoyed this series, but there were some moments that felt like it was dragging on. There were also some moments I wasn't a fan of, but that is personal preference, and I'm sure other's wont mind. I will read the next series with Josephine's friend as I found her and her "brother" interesting.

It was almost - should I say it? I think I'm gonna say it - Too Much. Haha. But, seriously, I had a really hard time finishing this up, because it felt like it just kept going unnecessarily. The first three books felt like enough to me, and I would've been fine ending it there. I know how it is, though, when a series is beloved; the readers always want more and clamor over extra little details in the characters' lives.

Still, I did enjoy the main storyline. I cared about the characters, loved the way they connected with each other, and was invested in the outcome for them all. The one thing that felt unfinished - and would possibly have helped me wrap my brain around the idea of polygamy - was Decker's feelings about the whole thing. All the other guys thoughts on the group dynamic were explained and understood, except for him. The whole "my wife" thing was really important to him, and he never *quite* seemed to come around to the idea of sharing Joey. I would have liked some more insight into how he came to accept the whole thing.

What I felt was done really well is the separation each character has from the others. Each of the guys brought something important to Joey and to the relationship, and the author did a good job of explaining it. I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite of the guys (I get that part of it, Joey!), for me it's a tossup between Nicky and Kylian. But, as I said, each brings something different to the table.

Another thing that works? Each guy is distinct and unique, but they are such an incredibly cohesive group. The friendships are strong, and that was always clear, from the first page through to the end.

If you like Why Choose with a strong but extremely damaged female lead, guys who cover all the bases (literally and figuratively!), and plenty of mental and physical health representation, this is the series for you. I'd love to hear who your favorite guy is! ;)

Thank you to the author and to Valentine PR for my gifted copies. I am voluntarily sharing my honest review.

In addition to the original trilogy, the Boys of Lake Chapel Omnibus includes a few extra scenes, the novelette, and the novella.
Too Safe- The Boys of Lake Chapel are Locke, Kylian, Decker, and Kendrick, and they meet Joey after she arrives at their school; however, they think she saw something that she should not have, so she is forced to live with them. They cannot have their football careers tarnished, but their feelings about Joey change throughout their time living together. I love how Kylian is the most important person on their team, and I love how the guys, and Joey eventually, all watch over each other and know when someone needs something without having to ask. It does end on a cliffhanger, and I do not think that will be the last we see of the South Chapel rivals.
Too Fast- The first half of the book centers around the cliffhanger from the first one. Joey spends time healing and also works on her relationships with the guys. They take a much needed break together at the beach after the long Shore Week they have had and with Decker trying to take care of everyone. I love that Greedy was in this one more, and I hope we get to see his story with Hunter. It seems like Misty is finally going to be out into her place. Too Fast does end on a cliffhanger.
Too Far- The last book in this series picks up where the previous cliffhanger left off and sees everyone coming to terms with what happened and how it affects their futures. This story really showed how Josephine wanted the ability take make choices for herself, but how the guys (or rather Decker) struggled with that. I love how important the pantry was to them and how they tried to make things as easy as possible for Josephine, but in doing so it also made me so upset with Decker. He thankfully redeemed himself in the end, and I am glad that we got to see so many glimpses into their future. Hunter’s story can’t come soon enough.

Tropes I loved:

Why choose? (Reverse harem)

Found family

Sports romance

A bunch of other fun ones throughout the series

This series totally sucked me in—I flew through it and had a great time along the way. Each character felt unique and well-developed, especially the guys. I really appreciated that they weren’t just copy-paste personalities; each brought something different to the group. And yeah, the steamy scenes definitely hooked me at first, but the actual plot is what kept me invested.

In Book 1, we meet Josephine (the FMC) and the four MMCs: Decker, Nick, Kylian, and Kendrick. Josephine’s trying to start fresh by going to college on a scholarship. After seeing something she shouldn't, she's brought to live with the guys to help protect them—and their football careers. The different dynamics between her and each of the guys really kept things interesting. I devoured this one in a single night and that cliffhanger? Brutal (in the best way).

Book 2 dives into Josephine’s messy past and how it affects her relationships. The emotional stakes get higher, the heat level rises, and you start to see the group really come together. There’s drama, growth, and yeah—some heartbreaking moments that had me stressed in the best way.

Book 3 is the longest, and while it wasn’t my favorite, I was still into it. It deals with uncertainty, a breakup, and how they all try to adjust to a new normal. The character growth really stands out here, and it was sweet seeing how much they’ve all changed. It ends with a satisfying HEA, which I appreciated.

This series might not be for everyone—especially if reverse harem or sports romance isn’t your thing—but I had a good time. There were a few unanswered questions that bugged me a bit, but nothing that ruined the experience.

Big thanks to Valentine PR and Abby Millsaps for letting me dive into this series!

This was my first taste of Abby Millsaps, and let me tell you—I am obsessed. When I signed up for the ARC of Boys of Lake Chapel: The Complete Series, I thought I was getting a single book. Joke’s on me, because I ended up devouring three. Best surprise ever. My friend kept raving about the MMCs, saying I needed to meet them, and she was so right—each one is an entirely different kind of delicious.

The story follows Josephine, a new girl in town who immediately catches the attention (read: obsession) of the college kings. From the second they lay eyes on her, her world is flipped upside down in the most chaotic, steamy, emotionally gripping way possible. These men are all battling their own demons, clinging to a life they’ve built together, protecting it at all costs. And then comes Joey—their woman, the one. They love her fiercely, and they don’t mind sharing as long as they all get to keep her.

At first, I thought emo 🥒 was my favourite, but then hello Kylian, my neurodivergent daddy dom surprise of the series. Absolutely obsessed.

This is a reverse harem, and trust me when I say—the spice was spicing.

But beyond the heat, the character development? Absolutely top-tier. Watching them evolve, struggle, and heal together was so satisfying. The emotional depth, the tension, the devotion—it all made for an unforgettable reading experience. This series is a must-read, no second-guessing. Just pick it up and let Joey and her men ruin you in the best way possible.

Massive thank you to Abby Millsaps and Valentine PR for the ARC—I am eternally grateful.

Boys of Lake Chapel: The Complete series - Abby Millsaps

5/5⭐️

JIST STRAIGHT OBSESSION WITH THIS ONE!! This is 3 books, a bonus novella, and some amazing bonus chapters!! I’m so glad I was able to read it as one big book because those cliffys hurt!! I don’t think I could pick a favorite character in this one because I am truly so in love with them all!! Joey is absolutely amazing even with everything she’s been through and continues to go through she is just such a force! How she cares for each of these MMCs had me giggling to feeling all the butterflies. Locke is just the cutest but holy spicy he gets!! Melted hard! My heart melted when Kylian was the one she ran to, he became the safe one and that I could feel through the book. Kendrick is the grump that has a soft side and totally made me smile so many times. Decker ugh just an absolute love. He cares for everyone and is just so protective (many a bit much sometimes, but we all love that) but he is also just the sweetest. Overall I highly recommend grabbing this one!!
