An average MF. No deep taboo here, just some possible eyebrow raising that he is eighteen and in high school and she is a young thirty-six who is heartbroken at loss of a baby and her marriage.
He is the boy next door, the landlord’s son, who has admired her from afar, her personality and body.
Being loved and doted on by him is just the ticket for her sadness.
There is nothing here that is earthshaking in their relationship. The sex is nice. The ex showing up again is a bland scene. He backed down way too quietly after walking in on them in bed. I don’t think I will be finishing this as the accidental on purpose pregnancy is being foreshadowed along with his maturity and desire to be with her long term. Age is just a number and good luck to them!
I figured out early on that the quirky characters who inhabit this family owned apartment complex will be getting their own stories? Perhaps I’m wrong. To me, they were a bit on the intrusive side with the advice.
This is a two person POV story.

I liked how Casey and Brayden provided each other with what they needed. She understandably had insecurities, and he was a sweetheart beyond his years, yet not without vulnerabilities. And Mo provided amusing moments throughout the story.

The Neighbor’s Son is a story of healing and rediscovering life. It would appeal to readers who enjoy quick, light, and easy romance with a reverse age-gap dynamic.

Leave it to K. Webster to write smut for smut sake. Short story, grammatical errors might annoy some but they weren’t too excessive to take away from the story. Taboo, age gap~ component to that I didn’t care for, but our MMC did just turn 18. Love the body positive message.

The Neighbor’s Son is the second book in the Taboo Streets series. K Webster always delivers a fun and sexy taboo read. I loved that this one was a reverse age gap between a curvy heroine and an 18-year-old cinnamon roll hero.

Casey’s relationship has ended after she suffered from a miscarriage. She is struggling with everything and trying to be more active again when she suddenly starts noticing her neighbor’s son Braydon. She has lost her confidence with her body after gaining weight, but Braydon appreciates all her curves.

Braydon was so sweet and caring with Casey. I loved how smitten and awkward he got with her, but at the same time pursued her. They were so cute together! Their chemistry was off the charts and loved how they helped each other find happiness and confidence. There is a big age gap, but it never bothered me because they were perfect together.

This was a cute novella, and I flew through it in one sitting. I definitely want to read more from her other taboo novella’s.

Casey has been dumped after losing her baby. She is 36 years old and down in the dumps about the baby, the dumping, and her body. Brayden, the landlord's son, is 18 and attracted to Casey. Age and size do not matter to him. They start talking and flirting then dating. Brayden's dad warns him to be careful physically and emotionally. Brayden is stuck on Casey. When Casey becomes pregnant, they marry. Will they stay married? Will her ex return to cause trouble?

I enjoyed this story. I liked Brayden and Casey. They were a cute couple. I liked that they were able to handle everything that came down at them--from the ex to the pregnancy, to the age difference. Brayden is a good dad also. I am glad they made it.

I look forward to more of this series.

This is the first story in the Taboo Streets series from K. Webster. If you have read some of her forbidden romances, you know you get dark and jaw dropping reads. This one is different from that. This book is actually a really sweet love story with a big age difference. But I really didn't notice it so much while reading. He is eighteen and she is in her thirties. This is the story of Casey and Braydon. She is a woman who is dealing with not only the loss of a relationship but the loss of a baby and she is drowning. Her body and her heart have not recovered from any of the things that have gone on. She has a hard time dealing with the way she looks now and I really felt for her. I don't like to look in a mirror period anymore. You back giving out before you do and the things you have to do to treat that really mess with your tiny little frame and soon you don't know who is standing in front of the mirror looking back. so I could relate big time. Braydon is her landlord's son. This guy, bless him, didn't notice any of that about her and got to know Casey for who she is not what she thinks she is. I really loved the side of Casey that he brought out. I loved that he spoiled her and made her feel like she was special. I loved the connection they had. This was a really sweet story that you can read in a couple of hours.

If anyone can get me to like reverse age gap it will be K Webster. I was kicking my feet and squealing the entire time. At one point I glanced down and saw I was at 79% and I started freaking out that it was almost over. Brayden just turned 18 and he is an absolute sweetheart. Casey just got out of a relationship after a terrible loss and just wanted to feel loved and beautiful. She also has body image issues and that right there made her super relatable. I just wanted to hug her and tell her she is perfect. I obviously couldn’t do that but trust me when I say Brayden does that and so much more. He’s definitely inexperienced but quickly learns alllll the things. We love a fast learning king 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 The dates they went on were absolutely adorable and the way he loved her 🥹 I NEED MORE!!!

K. Webster has done it again with this sweet, sexy, taboo, age-gap romance. The Neighbor's Son is a quick read that will steam up your readers and packs an emotional punch. I loved the taboo aspect of it. There's a wonderful cast of characters. The H, Brayden, lives and works with his dad, the landlord for the complex they live in. He was wise beyond his years, adorably awkward, protective, and so sweet. He has a crush on Casey, his older neighbor. The h, Casey, was brave, strong, and resilient. She had been through a lot recently, suffering a miscarriage and breakup. It put quite a dent in her self-esteem. When Brayden comes along, she doesn't expect to feel that spark. Once that spark ignites, passion explodes. Can Brayden and Casey overcome the societal norms regarding their age-gap? Can Casey open her heart again after having it shredded by recent events? You'll have to read to find out. I couldn't get enough of this book and its character (even the cat. lol). I devoured it in one sitting; unable to put it down! If you like a quick, sizzling hot taboo romance, this book is a must-read! I highly recommend reading it. This is a standalone that ends with a feel-good HEA!

Their relationship, albeit quick, seemed natural. He was more mature than his age.

“I’m so addicted to this woman who’s out of my reach, and yet, I swipe the air, longing for her anyway.”

Brayden was exactly what Casey needed.

“I’m not being careful,” I say with a soft laugh. “I’m going all in. I feel like my heart is raw, beating fiercely in her hand. She could crush it if she wanted to, but I don’t think she will. I’m trusting she won’t.”

I loved how they navigated the challenges that came their way.

“My life irrevocably changed when I fell in love with the neighbor’s son. And it keeps getting better.”

Okay, hear me out… I am so emotionally invested in this neighborhood, I’m considering packing up and moving in myself 😅💁‍♀️

Casey is fresh out of a breakup and reeling from a heartbreaking miscarriage. She’s feeling low, lonely, and completely lost. But when she attends the birthday party for her landlord’s son Brayden, who just turned 18, she was not expecting sparks to fly… 🔥

What starts as unexpected flirting turns into a full-blown emotional and steamy connection. Yes, there's an age gap. A hot one. Yes, it’s her landlord’s son. But Brayden seems mature, grounded, and absolutely adores Casey. He makes her feel seen, wanted, and more beautiful than she’s ever felt; and I ate up every second of it. 🥹💓

Compared to Book 1, this one was slightly less taboo and spicy, but still had that signature addictive K. Webster storytelling Im living for. She builds these characters so well you can’t help but fall for them. Ugh, and I have!!! 😭

Now I’m counting down the days until August 18th for Book 3; because this neighborhood? I need more. Obsessively. Where do I apply?! 🥵📚

She's at a point where she's lacking confidence in her body, her self esteem, and to have a young man like Brayden, who adores everything about her is quite the thrill, but their relationship is so much more than that. She's drawn to his sweet, caring nature and the old soul that seems to live inside of him. Unlike most guys Brayden's age, who are out partying or seeking a good time, he's got a level head and feels more mature than most of the men Casey's ever dated. These two, together, prove that age is just a number and that love knows no bounds.

The Neighbor's Son is emotional at times, but it's also incredibly sweet with the perfect amount of spice for this short novella.

I adored Brayden and Casey’s age gap romance! Brayden has his one friend that was foisted upon him by his community of neighbors and dad, and now he has his love for Casey, his neighbor who has recently divorced from her husband after pregnancy loss. She needs a moral boost and is feeling down about her physical appearance and everything that has transpired. Brayden who worships everything about her, is exactly what she needs to remind her how beautiful, smart and capable she is. This isn’t a case where he doesn’t bring anything to the table. He is sweet, nurturing, thoughtful, and a great listener. He also has skills and plans for the future. Watching them love one another and open their hearts to each other and build a life together in this short book was a beautiful thing. K Web does descriptive short form like nobody else. I can’t wait to return for the next quick and spicy treat!

The taboo streets series is quickly becoming a favorite. Short, sweet, spicy stories I can read in an afternoon.
Reverse age gap isn’t normally my thing, actually this is my first… and I didn’t think it would be my thing. But I was 100% wrong. Watching Brayden fall in love with Casey, and admire every single thing about her, reminded me that just because we have flaws it doesn’t mean we aren’t beautiful. There was giggling, smiling, and blushing with this one. As I do with everything K Webster writes, definitely recommend this one!

It’s not out yet, but the next one in the series is My Moms Man, and I read that too. Soooooo good. Can’t wait for it to be on here so I can write a review for it lol.

This was a heartfelt, spicy, quick read that completely surprised me. I wasn’t expecting to connect so deeply with Casey, a 36-year-old woman healing from heartbreak and loss. Their connection felt genuine, and I loved how he helped her rediscover her self-worth without ever trying to "fix" her. This was a fun quick little spicy read. I feel like we need more age gaps with older women. They are severely underrated. Casey has just gotten out of a long term relationship and she’s eager to move on from her ex. She immediately starts seeing her landlord’s son, Brayden differently after he turns 18. Brayden is completely enamored with Casey and will stop at nothing to have her. He also gives his virginity to her. He helps her see past her insecurities and makes her feel cherished in a way her ex never could. Once the dam breaks, IT BREAKS. These two are insatiable.

K Webster is the queen of taboo, and these short stories are so fun to read.The MMC is barely 18, but he already knows what he wants, and he might not have experience with girls/women, he sure knows how to woo the s3xi next door neighbour, not only that but he also manages to build her shattered confidence. SS yes I loved it and if you want to read, but the time is lacking, these taboo stories are perfect in every way.

Not actually taboo cause Braydon is 18. Just an age gap where Casey is 36 and have more experience in relationship.
Beside, their close friends and family are supporting, so i dont see any taboo or conflict worth mentioning.

The segs was good. The chemistry, i love.
The simple yet fun plot was hood. Easy and relax reading time with this book.

This story is sexy but mostly I found it sweeter than a candy factory. Casey and Brayden lift each other. They make a relationship look easy. I was quick to devour this book. It's short and easy to read, but very pleasurable. The characters are good people and you will want the best for them. Plus, Brayden might be maturing through it, but he is doing it the right way.

Quick read in the realm of K. Webster’s taboo romances. We have a reverse age gap (she is 36 and he is 18) that is addressed in the book. Brayden is Casey’s neighbor and the landlord’s son. Casey is recently single, like super recently, lady who needs someone to treat her like a queen. Well… Brayden does that without faltering. I want to call it cute, but it was so much better than that. It was good. Real good.

This was a cute, quick and super spicy read. Brayden was just what Casey needed after everything she went through. This was the perfect read for in between larger books. I was in a bit of a slump and ate this up. This is the second book in the Taboo Streets series and I ran to read Room for Three. I can’t wait for the next book in this series!!

I love a reverse age gap so I was excited about this but man, was this boring.
This is an interconnected standalone but too many characters from the other books are mentioned and while reading I got confused. Webster was also confused as she got the fmc mixed up with other people 🤦🏾‍♀️

Absolutely not interested in reading the other books in this series.

Casey & Brayden may have an age-gap between them as well as completely different lives but they still fit together so well. You can feel them grow more and more into one solid relationship and I really enjoyed it!
