Duty or love...

Hawk always knew he'd be next in line for the title of MC president, but he expected it to be passed on—not thrust upon him after his father was assassinated. Now he's stretched thin: running the club, keeping the peace at the clubhouse, and hunting for the ones responsible for his father's untimely death. His trust has all but disappeared when he discovers a secret forged by his father that puts his honor and loyalty to the test.

Katarina was groomed to be a bride—but a mafioso's bride, not a biker's. When she learns her powerful father has arranged her marriage to an MC president, she's crushed. She never dreamed of being so far from her only family, her home, and the one close friend she has. That is, until she meets the mysterious and powerful man she's promised to.

Neither Hawk nor Katarina were prepared for each other. Hawk didn't expect the surge of emotions Katarina awoke within him, and Katarina finds herself possessive of a man she barely knows while navigating a completely foreign way of life. Hawk is torn between his duty to the club, exacting revenge for his father, and his growing obsession with his new bride. She could be his undoing or his salvation — but either way, she'll push his rigid boundaries to their limits.

When Katarina's presence stirs up trouble at the clubhouse and Hawk gets closer to the truth behind his father's murder, loyalties will be tested — and not everyone will survive it.

Hawk, the final book in Destiny’s Enforcers MC Atlanta Chapter, is an angsty and spicy contemporary romance with plenty of action, suspense, an arranged marriage, forced proximity, a possessive hero, and a heroine who is polished and tough in ways the hero never could imagine. Download today and get ready to fall for Katya and Hawk.

Welcome to Destiny’s Enforcers MC where the men are morally grey, accidental anti-heroes, committed to the club, and fall hard for the women who cross their paths and usually bring a little chaos with them.

HAWK is the fifth and final instalment in April Berry’s contemporary, adult DESTINY’S ENFORCER MC: ATLANTA erotic,MC romance series. This is club president Hawk Jones, and twenty-five year old Bratva princess Katarina ‘Kat’ Petrov’s story line. HAWK can be read as a stand alone but for back story and cohesion, I recommend reading the series in order.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Kat and Hawk) HAWK follows the arranged marriage between Destiny’s Enforcer president Hawk Jones, and Bratva Princess Katarina Petrov. In the months since his father Raven’s murder, Hawk has temporarily assumed his father’s former position as president but a contract signed years before finds Hawk forced to marry a woman he does not know. Katarina Petrov has prepared all of her life to become the wife of a man she did not love but Kat never expected to find herself the wife of the Destiny’s Enforcer MC president,a position that places Kat in the direct line of fire. As Kat and Hawk fumble their way through the early days of their marriage, someone else is working behind the scenes to destroy them all.

The world building follows several intersecting pathways including missing women and the take down of a human trafficking ring; the search for the person responsible for Raven’s murder, and the back and forth between our story line couple.

The relationship between Kat and Hawk begins as an arranged marriage, a contract signed years before. Katarina Petrov and Hawk Jones accept their fates equally and without argument but Katarina is no pushover, and refuses to sit back waiting to be told what to do. The $ex scenes are provocative and passionate.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful, familiar and engaging secondary and supporting characters including all of the previous story line couples, as well as IT specialist Keys, Hawk’s mother Cindy aka Mother Hen, club girls Jeannie and Sugar, and Kat’s brother Niko Petrov.I am hoping the author has plans for a spin off with Kat’s brother Niko Petrov, and the Petrov Crime Family.

HAWK is a story of secrets and lies, betrayal and vengeance, power and control, family and relationships, acceptance and love. The character driven premise is dramatic and edgy; the romance is fated and impassioned; the characters are desperate, determined and charismatic.

The last installment in the Atlanta chapter of Destiny’s Enforcers MC delivers a powerful and emotional conclusion to a series that has captivated readers from the very first book. This time, the spotlight is on Hawk, the club’s president, whose journey brings the central storyline full circle. Hawk discovers that he has been promised in marriage to Katarina—known as Katya—a mafia princess. This arranged union is meant to strengthen the MC’s business ties and relationships, setting the stage for a story filled with intrigue and tension.

The plot is rich with twists and turns, balancing the perfect amount of action with heartfelt moments and a dash of humor. The series continues to shine through its strong, memorable characters, especially the “girl gang” whose camaraderie and evolution have been a highlight throughout. Each woman is uniquely matched to her counterpart, and their bonds only deepen as the story progresses.

Kristie (and Rooster) stands out as a personal favorite, and it was gratifying to see her further integrate with the girl gang in this installment. Mama Hen, the First Lady of the MC, embodies grace and strength, and her heartfelt passing of responsibilities to Katya is a particularly touching moment in the book.

The narrative masterfully incorporates themes of arranged marriage and forced proximity, creating compelling tension and emotional stakes. April Berry’s ability to weave these elements into the story makes for an engaging and satisfying read. Overall, this finale is a fitting tribute to the Atlanta chapter and its unforgettable cast.

I am eagerly looking forward to future stories featuring the other chapters of Destiny’s Enforcers, and I hope those tales will provide updates on the original characters we’ve come to love. The prospect of reconnecting with familiar faces and witnessing their ongoing journeys fills me with anticipation and excitement for what’s still to come in this universe.

Hawk and Katya’s relationship was the perfect way to wrap up this chapter of DEMC! The number of squeals and tiny breakouts that happened was crazy (end entirely necessary) with everything that happened with these characters. It took me a couple days to finish reading because I got so invested and had to put it down a few times (Why does no one ever listen to Lacy??) lol

Watching Hawk grow through the series and finally get the vengeance they had all been working towards was amazing. Mama Hen passing the torch had me in my feels too but everything about this book was so well done and so, so worth it!

I’ll definitely be rereading DEMC and will probably add to the reviews each time but I can’t wait to see what’s next from April 💜

This series keeps getting better. I've loved each of the couples so far and Hawk and Kat were no exception. They had me smiling with their back and forth from the start.
I loved that Katya was hardened from the life she had lead but still showed insecurities as she tried to embrace a new life.
I loved Hawk's loyalty and how how he fell despite trying so hard to stop it.
The relationships between the women in this series has always been gorgeous and the way they embraced Katya was lovely.
Another great addition to a series I have really enjoyed and the teaser for the next book at the end has me incredibly excited.

Just Perfect! ♥️

I can’t begin to say how excited I was for this book. I think Hawk is my favorite, but I have said that about them all. Such a wonderful series. Hawk and Kat were made for each other and their story was wonderful. I was hooked from the first book and it definitely carried through them all. I think Hawk was just special. Knowing this was the last in the series is bittersweet, but what a ride! Definitely recommend this series but start from the beginning. You will fall in love with the Destiny’s Enforcers MC!

And that’s a wrap…mystery solved & love

Hawk: Destiny’s Enforcers MC Atlanta Chapter (Book 5) has a ton to keep the reader engaged and I loved the arranged marriage angle for Hawk. I mean, the stubborn man probably wouldn’t have found love otherwise! And Katya Petrov is the perfect match when it’s all said and done.
The mystery of Raven’s murder that has plagued the MC is finally put together too. This is an action packed MC romance that’s full of sexy heat and heart. You don’t want to miss this one or any other books in this series!

I’m in love. I have loved these guys since the first book and their ladies. Hawk is the prez and Kat is a woman from a controlling father and older brother. She knew how her life would turn out until she met Hawk. They have to learn to live together. The road to HEA is rough and rowdy on both sides. I know I actually sobbed reading a part. Can’t wait for the next one.

Hawk had to marry Katya at a time he trusts outsiders to the MC club the least. This is their HEA. This was a page turner for me. Hawk can be so stubborn and Katya is no door mat. I loved watching them get their sh*t together and be a couple. Loved the action and can't wait for more Katya moves! For the most enjoyment of this book, you should read the series in order.

Destiny's Enforcers MC has been an exciting series and wouldn't be complete without Hawk's story. Wanting to avenge his father's death, who was also his National President, Hawk was never looking to have a woman by his side. Honoring a deal his father made years before his death changed all of that. This story wraps everything up with the answers we've been waiting for and a few twists and turns with some action you might not be expecting. Please be sure you've read books 1-3.5 first, so you know what's going on and be sure to read the trigger warnings as well. All in all this is a great series. Each book is exceptional and I highly recommend them all.

Hawk and Katya’s story is part of the DEMC Series and should be read in order for best enjoyment. There is open door sex, cursing, drinking, violence and death on page. It all helps to make this story realistic and full of adversity. There a quite a few revelations related to the previous books, so having read them is imperative. We get a book full of all the “feels” and we finally get answers to Raven’s death and who the rat truly is. 5✨’s for an MC read full of heat and heart ! I received a copy of this book from the author and am choosing to leave this review.

I don't even know where to begin. Everything about this book was beautiful. I don't want to spoil anything so I'll focus on what it made me feel. I laughed, I cried, and the twist kept me up way past my bedtime. Start with book 1 and enjoy the ride.
