Hallie One night where I could let my hair down and do something I usually wouldn’t. Have a fling with a stranger in Vegas before going back home to find a new nannying job. What I didn’t expect was to find a broody, tattooed man at the bar who found a way to pleasure and insult me all in one night. Now I’ve ended up working for him and his little girl, and I have to learn to be friendly with the man I loathe. West I didn’t expect to be thrust into fatherhood like I have, and now I need to find a nanny who’s good enough to do the job and look after the most precious thing in my life, my daughter. Finding her was easy. Convincing her to work for me was a challenge. But falling for her was the last thing I ever expected, and I have to figure out a way to show her I’m not the guy she met.
I love a good grumpy/sunshine trope and this book had exactly that, it was well written and had a gripping plot i could not put it down!! Hallie and West have been my favourite couple, their story was intense but heartwarming and had the perfect happy ending.
If you are a fan of small town romance, i highly recommend the Sweetwater series. This series is perfect for readers who love a heartfelt romance with a good level of spice and great plot! All can be read as a stand-alone however i really recommend reading them all! Definitely has been my favourite series i have read so far!
I love the author’s ability to craft heartfelt narratives that delve into themes of love, friendship, and personal growth. Her writing style has warmth and authenticity, with a sprinkle of spice. I personally read this as a stand alone as an ARC and loved it! So can definitely be read as a stand alone (but I now plan to read the first two because I’m dying to know Grace & Rose’s back stories!). So if you like a little grumpy/sunshine, girl next door, single dad and spicy romance - this is a must read!
I was given an ARC copy of this book and fell right in love! West and Hallie were burning right from the start and it was so fun to read. The story was different than a traditional hockey type romance, and I really enjoyed how all the characters were connected. Found family, forced proximity, age gap, mixed with some spice 🔥 This is definitely worth checking out!!
I got the pleasure of reading this as an arc and I ADORED it. I haven’t read the first two books and was able to enjoy and understand everything perfectly so it can be a standalone for sure. I’m a sucker for grumpy/sunshine and this book had me laughing and squealing out loud throughout it. It was a super fun, fast paced read with a bit of spice. ☺️
This book is the first book I have read by this author. It’s the 3rd in a series of standalones and I absolutely adored it. I loved how West was the brooding asshole and Hallie was his light. Maddison was just absolutely gorgeous.
I loved watching their characters develop and grow. Maddison kept them coming back to each other. I’m glad Maddison’s mom decided against fighting West for her or trying to get them to be together because it wouldn’t have worked!
I absolutely loved Want You! Robyn Reed nails the grumpy/sunshine dynamic with a fresh twist—add in a single dad who's suddenly responsible for a four-year-old daughter he didn’t know he had, and you’ve got a story that’s both heartwarming and hilarious.
The setup is wild in the best way: a one-night stand that ends in a major misunderstanding, only for her to end up as his new neighbor—and the only person who can help him care for his daughter. The tension, the banter, the chemistry... all of it hits just right.
One of my favorite things about this book (and the series overall) is how interconnected it is. You get glimpses of other couples and stories that make you want to dive into the entire series.
If you’re into forbidden romance, grumpy/sunshine tropes, and witty banter with real emotional depth, Want You is a must-read. Highly recommend the whole series!
Robyn very kindly sent me her book to read and I was so excited to start it as I loved her previous book. I LOVED THIS! I loved the characters, the plot and the ending 🥹 I devoured this in a few days and I can't wait to read more from Robyn in the future.
West was a d!ck from start to finish. No excuse for not contacting her for a week (she literally lived next door AND it takes twenty seconds to send a text!)
