Wowie Howies AmazinSavin Time to Save is based on the true story of a little boy named Howard, who enjoys saving his money. Naturally curious, Howie wonders at the world around him and often says Wow!! out loud when things fascinate him (thats how he got his cool nickname, Wowie Howie). He is so fascinated by the sounds that the coins make when dropped into his makeshift piggy bank that he makes it a habit. Youll never believe what happens at Wowie Howies house as he continues to collect more and more coins! Soon, coins are everywherethe bathtub, the kitchen, upstairs, downstairsand there is no more room left in the house to put them! So, Wowie Howie decides to do two give some of his savings away to a friend whose family is in need, and put some of his money in the bank. Both fantastical and practical, this story teaches young children about the joys of saving, and more importantly, the joys of helping those who are less fortunate.
