Brimstone: The Legend of Quentin Cain

Rate this book
In the Old West, Quentin Cain was easily the most wanted man. There weren't many banks or trains he hadn't robbed. He killed men and molested women. He was like a wild, untamable animal. He committed violent crimes without a second thought. Like all bad men, however, the law eventually caught him and they hanged him.
That should have been the end of it and with anyone else it would have been. It turns out Hell didn't know what to do with Cain either. After an eternity in Hell, Cain fought his way back to the Mortal World...and he's not going back.

Daryl Russ sure knows his demons! Escape from hell and Lucifer and his minions won’t just let you ride off into the sunset.
This is a rousing shoot ‘em up worthy of any western fan and with plenty of howling devils for any horror fan.
Kudos to Mr. Russ.

Quentin Cain does exactly that: ESCAPES FROM HELL! He is the first and only human to do it. How? Well, let’s just say that he is meaner and nastier than any spawn of the devil. Getting out of hell, Quentin finds himself in the American West. He knows that it is only a matter of time before the demons take him back to hell, but he is going to kill as many of them as he can before they drag him back. Along the way, Quentin discovers that the forces of hell are not as well organized and as loyal to their leadership as the angels of heaven, and that they often conspire against each other and work at cross purposes. Cain is not going to play their games anymore.

God's will.

This is not a religious text. It will though help you figure holiness from wickedness!
Canine is a truly worthy name for the character.
