Es una lectura MUY corta qué me dejó más dudas que respuestas, tendré que leer el siguiente libro (se ve muy interesante por la sinopsis🤭), pero no le quita nada lo interesante jaja
Tiene Dioses, Academia, Jerarquías de poder, magia, peleas de poder, monstruos (como orcos), y por supuesto, un naga 😍.
Le pongo 3.5 estrellas por que siento que me faltaron más datos, me dejaron con chisme a medias y más por conocer a Typhon.
Me hubiera encantado que fuera más largo, un poco más extendido😭

Fiadh, the female human lead, is a student at a magical academy in another realm where she and others from the mundane realm are poorly treated. Targeted by bullies, she ends up in a magical maze. Given one opportunity to get away, she chooses to be with a naga rather than monsters in human form.
Typhon, the male naga lead, locked himself away for his rut, so that he would not be hurt by a female naga. Waking to find a female human in his den, he’s not sure how to proceed. But he offers to let her go if she doesn’t want the intimacies he’s offering.
Fiadh has never been offered choices like these but she’s willing to take a risk! Typhon promises to let her go when his rut is over but he knows he wants to convince her to stay…
This short story is dual POV, well written, and an erotic, fantasy, naga/human romance. I enjoyed Fiadh’s rebellion in the face of few choices, and her willingness to take a risk for a chance at something better. I enjoyed Typhon’s consent focus, as well as his dedication to pleasing Fiadh. I enjoyed the erotic intimacies they engaged in and chuckled at the misunderstandings they started with. I did find this story background a little confusing as I haven’t read the full length stories set in this world but the character focus made up for it.

Fiadh is a woman without magic, marginalized in an academy where there is magic. She is eating quietly with her friend, when the princes take her by force (and no one does anything for her) and take her to a dungeon to humiliate her. However, something goes wrong, something not in Order, and Fiadh is knocked unconscious.
This is where the best begins. Fiadh meets a Naga, a serpent man she's only read about in books, and they feel a deep connection and a tingle of lust. The Naga was interrupted from his hibernation in the middle of his mating season, and is eager to discover the anatomy of the small human on top of him.
I like monster romance, although the idea of a Naga and its anatomy seemed a little uncomfortable to read, but it was entertaining and, in a way, sweet. Especially if the Naga is willing to learn how to bake cakes just so Fiadh will stay by his side and can mate, form a family, and be together, even if the Naga's life is in possible danger.
Although I understand why, it's a shame that it was such a short story. I would have liked more in-depth character development in general and that and that it doesn't feel like a read whose sole purpose was to describe sex with a Naga. I hope to have the opportunity to read more stories by this author and learn more about the world of these characters.

'I was the one who looked for love in monsters, because I’d never met a man who wasn’t one.'
I loved this book. It was a fast-paced quick read that was interesting to me from the start. I love Deiri DI's books but had somehow missed it was a companion book to another series when I went into it. I haven't read that series, but I was quickly hooked to the story. The world Fiadh is a part of is far from equal or safe. But she's smart and quick thinking even when all the odds are stacked against her. I was fascinated by the wrong weirdness she perceived, by the sentient and dangerous dungeon, and of course meeting Typhon. I really enjoyed seeing things from his point of view. I loved these two together. There was just something cute about it, and their communication. There was also a level of vulnerability in each of them that drew me to them more. I wish this was longer! I'd love to see more of them together and life in the Dungeon. I definitely plan to read the rest of this series and want to see the series it is a companion to. 5 stars

When they decide to take her on one of their sadistic dungeon dives things get even stranger, all signs seeming to point to a little chaos god interference when she is saved from their unwanted attentions.
Fiadh makes a statement in that dungeon that involves a naga and her desire is quickly granted as she is hurtled into its depths.
Typhon is his name, a naga he is and just waking up from his mating hibernation, he does, just as Fiadh lands on top of him.
Loved the writing and surely found a very enjoyable read!.

Well that was an experience, I guess. I struggled with this one, obviously. The prose was all over the place. At times it was simple and other times tried to be too flowery, to an extent that either didn't fit the story or didn't even make sense. It honestly made me question whether it was AI, but I believe it's more likely it was just unfocused writing and poor editing.
I went into this knowing it would be silly, short, fast-paced, etc. But even with those lower expectations, it let me down. The pacing actually felt very slow in the beginning, and too much background was thrown in for such a short story. I understand it's setting up a series, but I think half of it could have been left to later books to make this one more readable.
The premise itself is actually fun and interesting - a sentient dungeon, monsters that mostly kill in self defense, exploring a dungeon society. Those are the makings of some enjoyable stories, I think! Unfortunately this one didn't live up to the hype.

I picked up this short not having read the main series and...look, this is on me. The author states pretty clearly that this is a companion piece to the other series and there are clues that lead up to things happening there and I ignored them. I went in anyway. Honestly, I picked this up for the monster.
And he delivered. A couple of times, if I counted correctly.
Anywho. I like monsters finding their special someone. I like when they're absolute marshmallows for the person they connect with. So, yeah. I liked the naga. I have no idea what's going on at that school or who the individual who helped Fiadh out of her predicament was, but the naga gets high marks. Because monsters

This was cute but it would have been so much better if it was longer!
I don't know if it's because I haven't read the main series but I found the story interesting but a bit confusing. The main characters could have been good, but since it's so short they both fall really flat and they sleep together after 2 seconds of knowing each other so there's no feeling or connection or romance. the heroine likes sex and cake and the hero is a naga and that's all we know about either of them.
The smut was fine, not super in depth or anything and again would have benefited from more detail and more relationship buildup.

Gleeful Goblin Review: As a frequent enjoyer of all things naga romance I am delighted with this story! Written in dual POV, we get to see some up close and personal views of Typhon's...ahem...coils. This may be a short story but it packs a LOT of action into few pages. We have a spunky and delightfully stubborn FMC with an enviable sense of adventure in every way possible. Typhon is a #ConsentKing which is always swoon worthy to me. But hit single minded focus on pleasing his partner was **chef's kiss**. I'm unbelievably stoked for more stories in this universe. 5/5 Stars.

While there are hints of an intriguing universe (and I’ll admit, I haven’t read the Chaos God: Sugar and Spice series this ties into), the focus here is squarely on our FMC, who quite literally falls on top of the Naga MC and kicks off a fast, spicy, and chaotic connection.
The characters fall hard and fast, the plot barely raises its head, and the steam is nonstop. If that’s what you’re after, you’ll have a great time. If you’re looking for lore, depth, or a slow burn, you might want to keep moving.

In all honesty, I was not entirely sure how long this book was gonna be, but I loved it either way! I'm always down to read some monster romance so when I saw this book, I knew it would be good to some degree. So while I may not have read the series that this is a companion to, I was pleasantly surprised that this book was a pretty easy read without spoiling that series. And now I want to read more monster romances. Can't wait to read more!.

Ok, first let me start by saying that this was a quick yet interesting read. The world-building intrigued me quite a bit. The spicy scenes were definitely hitting, just wished there was more 😏. My only critiques would be that I found the characters are little flat and the plot a bit disorganized. I get that this is supposed to be a short hot insta-lust story. But it seemed like there was more pages dedicated to background then the actual lead characters. Hopefully there will be more in future books.

Since this was a companion book, I kind of felt like I was missing part of the story because some stuff didn't make sense. Fiadh knew that she was in trouble when she got selected to go into the dungeon. What she didn't know was that she would get an off-hand wish granted. I could understand Typhon's reluctance to be awake during his rut with the consequences he described. But with the backstory missing I still thought this was a good book.

loved it !! a great start for a new series !! a fast paced shorter drama... love Fiadh and Typhon... this is their story... Fiadh came to the academy to unlock her magic instead she got manual labor to the upper class mean monsters hiding as humans... they decide to have some fun and throw her into the dungeon and she lands on top of the naga, the monster that lives in the dungeon.. and so begins a fight for freedom... so good !!!.

Book 1 of Chaos God Sugar and Spice Companions story for Fiadh and Typhon. I felt like this was not the first book but came out sometime later. I was a little confused about what was happening as some of the content talked about things that already happened. This a fast acting story with lots of drama and only a small about of danger.

This was a fun fast read that brings Fiadh and Typhon together. She's enrolled at a magic school and life is hard for her. When she gets dragged to the dungeon by bullies, she finds that life with the 'monster' is vastly better than life with the human around her. Typhon, a naga, was so dedicated to pleasing her that this story really unfolds as a sweet romance, although there's good heat, too ;P This is a fun addition to the series and I can't wait for more :D

A great short from this author and features Fiadh and Typhon. She's forced to enter a Labyrinth by her classmates, a dungeon where others have failed to return from.
Inside is a huge Naga, Tyhon. He's been trapped by his own making. They have to work together if they are ever to be free. Loved it, the perfect short between longer reads and this author is always a pleasure to read.

This is a companion novella to a main series under another pen name. This is a short story with some spice. The MMC was really sweet and I would have liked to see more of their relationship developing. It is a standalone but I think reading the main series first would lead to a better understanding of the background and world building.

This was a super short read. A very strange read but I used it as a pallet cleanser. Fiadh is what's called a norm in a school full of magic dwelling people and monsters. When she's targeted by the group of Prince's and take him to the dungeon one of them rescues her and sends her into the home of the naga Typhon.

Idk probably wouldn’t made more sense if I had read the main series instead of dropping into this spinoff
FMC is a student at some kind of dangerous supernatural school who ends up following some boys to a labyrinth. One of the boys is not who he supposed to be - seems like some kind of figure has possessed him. Idk, the rest want to assault her but the other boy distracts them and sends her off. She falls into a pit with a naga, loves it, and decides to stay there.

Quick and fun and in the heart of the Academy. Fiadh is a mundane who gets dragged to the dungeon by the Princes. I love the twist in this story and it fits so well with the series it makes for a tantalizing side bar.

Fiadh enrolls is a magic school. Hogwarts it's not. Life is hard and dangerous for her. When she is dragged to the Dungeon she expects the worst. This is a quick read with great world building and I look forward to reading more books in this series.

This book 1 in The Chaos God Sugar and Spice Companions Book Series has an entertaining story with well-thought out scenes, well-crafted world and unique characters. These amazing characters have strong wills, intriguing personalities and believable interactions. This story has the following: a dungeon Labyrinth, a monster, working together, twists, turns, adventure, action, steam and a HEA.

Her time at the academy wasn’t exactly easy. When her classmates through her in the dungeon she knew it was over for her. Then she comes face to face with the creature that resides in the dungeon. She should fear it, but something in her is drawn to it.

HAHAHAHA what was that?? But also like, it wasn't bad. And why does she like cake so much? The worst part of the whole book was literally the first chapter. And it was because it was 20 pages mostly describing the colors and the smells of the room they were in. I was so not needing that much description about that one singular room and it happened multiple times in the chapter.
