A very good read. An amazing story by first-time novelist. Can't wait to read her next book.

A really fast paced and interesting book that kept me interested and turning pages throughout.
Really cool concepts of the world broken into zones & unique universe. On the lighter side of a dark romance, so would be a great book for anyone wanting to dip their toes into the genre. Zone Zero tipped into Romantasy for me a bit more than a dark romance.
The FMC Evie was really likeable, strong and brave a little Fiesty! I loved that
The MMC Alex, Hot, broody, strong, knows his way around a human body ;), I enjoyed getting to know him and him being a bit of an ass to start with then total Labrador at the end.
What was missing for me (personal preferences) a bit more angst and banter, a slower burn and for it to take a bit longer for her to fall in love. A little more description in the spice - I like to feel a bit hot under the collar for my dark romances 🔥 🌶️

Reading this book didn't feel like reading a first book from a first time author. The writing felt comfortable and the world building was immaculate, I felt like I was there.
The story itself was interesting and surprising, full of twists and turns I didn't see coming. I spent the first half of the book enjoying the writing style but wondering if the vampire themes are for me. It was the perfect pace to build the world and challenge my perspectives. Then about halfway through there was a twist that changed it all. From there on I was invested, I couldn't wait to find out what happened next. The structure lent itself to the drama and suspense, utilising fast paced and short chapters in the perfect moments to continue the momentum.
I finished the book happy with where the FMC found herself in the story but frustrated that I don't know when the next book will be released - I have to know what happens next!

Zone Zero totally pulled me in. Evie’s world is intense—military life, rules, danger—and then everything flips when she ends up in vampire territory. Alex is mysterious, powerful, and the tension between them is 🔥. The story is dark, fast-paced, and full of twists. If you're into dystopian vibes mixed with steamy vampire romance, this one's a must-read!
