Pucking Daddies

The Triple Play

Rate this book
My boyfriend insults me in front of the whole Atlanta Fire team.
Wrong move.
Because not one, but three fiery hockey players come to my rescue.

Revenge never tasted so sweet… or spicy.

Problem is, I didn't think I'd fall for all three.
Or have a bun in the oven in less than a season.
Or not know who the daddy is.

But one question rattles my heart at night.

Can we all stay together or do I really have to choose?

Mia Mara scores big with her first reverse harem romance! "The Triple Play" is a sizzling, emotional ride packed with heart, heat, and hockey heroes you won’t forget. Colton, Xavi, and Cole each bring something unique to the table, and together they create a dynamic that’s both passionate and surprisingly sweet.

The emotional stakes—dealing with a toxic ex, a scandal brewing around her, and an unexpected pregnancy—add real depth to the story and kept me invested the whole way through. Plus, the spicy scenes were everything you'd hope for in a why-choose romance — bold and steamy.

The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that a few moments felt a little rushed, especially when balancing the emotional fallout of everything happening around the heroine. I would’ve loved just a little more time to sit with some of the big feelings and conflicts.

Still, this was a fantastic, super spicy read with a satisfying HEA. If you're looking for hockey heat, protective men, and a heroine who gets all the love she deserves, "The Triple Play" is absolutely worth diving into!.

An interesting read as three men on the same hockey team, and they happen live together too all like same girl, Annie. She is the type of girl you take home to mom not a puck bunny. But each one run all the ways they might possibly be able date her without causing problems at home and on the team. She already had a boyfriend that they ended up assisting her in getting rid of that evening at the bar. Only ex-boyfriend did not get the memo that she is through with him. He continues to blow her phone up with messages. She happened to have Colton's number from that night at the bar, so she calls him for help. They talk, and she has an interest in all three of them, so he takes her home with him. Thus starts the on again, off again, on again relationship with sizzling heat that will may melt your tablet. Colton, Cole, and Xavi are all alpha males that know how to get what they want. Annie has never had anyone believe in her. Until, now and they support her music aspirations.

Mia Mara's book The Triple Play is a part of the Pucking Daddies series, and is full of heart, warmth, laughter, determination, and more gusto than any story should be allowed.

This book is perfect for lazying away a day on a couch drinking coffee or reading on a beach somewhere drinking Mai Tais, but either way the reader will get to enjoy a simple day doing nothing but relaxing and having fun with Ms. newest book.

Ms. Mara is sure to capture and ensare your heart with every page you devour, leaving no room for depressing thoughts. So make you don’t burn yourself, because you will surely be burning the midnight oil.

I would give this book 5 stars but I felt like there was no ending of the drama. It just abruptly ended with a punch to the face… I don’t think so. Also I wanted more about why her dad sucked so bad. I wanted to hear how their relationship, marriage, baby, everything with the 4 of them came out to the team and the media. I wanted to hear how the delivery went and more about her music. Maybe I just wanted a longer book? Or some novellas to answer all my questions?

The spice on the other hand 🥵🥵🥵🥵 5 stars for the spice for sure. Wow!!!! I loved that all three guys were different and loved her equally. They really were perfect for her and she loved them all differently but also the same.

This is as far as I know the first RH book by Mia Mara and when I saw it I did a happy dance I can tell you. I love her hockey books. Colton, Xavi and Cole are a great unit and work together perfectly. They aren't carbon copies but bring something different in the relationship. I really loved how they wanted to help out a lady who is hurt by her boyfriend and these guys step in and help get revenge. It never tasted sweeter than it did here. Now what is a girl to do when you can't help but fall for three guys?

The Triple Play is a standalone novel in the Pucking Daddies series. I love it when I come across new authors, and Mia Mara’s has put together her first reverse harem that does not disappoint. It is filled with lots of drama, laughable, smirky moments, hot, spicy desires and a great HEA. I really enjoyed the connection between all the characters. I am looking forward to reading more reverse harem and discovering Mia’s contemporary romances. 4 stars.

Sweet

This was sweet. They all fall for our fmc, it's fast, hard and no worries about cheating. Spice was 3/5 she takes them all together.
There was one chapter that needed editing the author said it was Colten's chapter but then messed up forgetting who's pov it was... think it was a big mistake having three mmcs two named colten and Cole!
The climax was ok (no spoilers) I had hoped to have a bit more angst but over all it was nice.
I enjoyed it and the epilogue tied things up.

I really enjoyed the story. It kept me hooked throughout. The characters were awesome and had decent development.
I just felt like after all the build-up with the looming problems- they suddenly just vanished. Poof! No showdown, no explanation, just bam, happy ending. If it had shown the culmination of her Dad and the probable issues with the team and media, it would have felt more finished. Sadly, it just felt like the author was done with it and cut it short. Everything before the last chapter and Epilog I absolutely loved, though.

This book started off great and just kept on going. The characters quickly captured my interest and had me flipping pages as quickly as i could. I absolutely loved the guys and their personalities and the chemistry between them and the FMC. A good amount of spice in it and enjoyed all the hurdles life tossed their way. Great read.

The Triple Play by Mia Mara is a wonderful romance between three hockey players and Annie, a singer and bartender. Cole, Colton, and Xavi are all attracted to Annie and decide to pursue her together. Annie is a feisty and witty girl. The guys all have very distinct personalities as well which makes this a fun book to read. Highly recommend it.

Crashed hard

What happens when three best friends, NHL players, and competitive men set there eyes on the same gal? They crash hard into her life like they belonged all along.

Xavi, Cole, and Colton take one look into her blue eyes and drown in their depths. Only problems they face now are the ex -bf, her cruel father, and possible media exposure.

However, these men will do anything to be with her, so, let the games begin.

This is not Broadway Annie! No way, no how! This is so much better!

Three men? Yes, THREE!!! Colton, Xavi and Cole!
Hockey players too! YUM!

These three are going to rescue Annie, and well, they rescued me too from several boring hours of…well I shirked all responsibilities while reading this!

Steamy hours of goodness!

I loved this reverse harem romance!

If you're looking for something that is full of romance and the scenes so steamy, you'll be having hot flashes, then this is the book for you. It's one fantastic roller-coaster ride that I hated to come to an end, but oh my goodness what an ending. So, if you love reading reverse harem romance books then read this one by Mia because it will melt anything you have close by due to the heat.

It’s a great spice read but she arguably tried too hard to make the plot work and make sense? Like. Just be a spice book with no real logic or plot or like, edit your book. There were soooo many typos idk how they were missed.
5 stars for spice. 1 star for plot and chemistry overall. Should average a 3 but it gets a 2.

Loving the series

This is my first experience with Mia Mara. Quick read. Characters were very lighthearted. Each had distinct personalities but weren’t too intense. Thank god for this due to the storyline. Can’t wait for the next one.

Insta-love for the lead heroine by the 3 lead male characters who are best friends and teammates. Told in all 4 pov, first person. HEA. No other woman drama.
