I absolutely adored this trio of characters! The emotional turmoil they experienced truly tugged at my heartstrings, creating a compelling sense of angst that lingered long after I finished reading. Meanwhile, the passionate and fiery moments added an exciting layer of spice that intensified the narrative. Overall, this story was crafted with exquisite detail, and I found myself forming an immediate and profound connection to each of the characters, making their journeys feel personal and impactful.

I connected with Kalia Rose on TikTok and I couldn’t be happier! She’s welcoming and friendly like you’ve been friends forever!😍 Kaila popped my dark romance cherry 🍒 with her book Ink Stain! 🫣 I applied to be an ARC reader for this book and she accepted me anddd ohhh boyyy I read it cover to cover in one sitting! 🥵 It’s a male, female male driven storyline. "This isn't a fairy tale—it's a razor-edged dance between desire and damage, where love is both a weapon and a wound." Thea never stays in one place for long and a brief stop a tattoo shop where she meets Levi and later on Niko her life drastically changes course! Trigger warning: This book does contain very graphic content (kidnapping, guns, violence, BDSM etc…). For sure check your tigger warnings/ content warnings.. Definitely worth the read and btw Levi’s my favorite!😉

Emotional, spicy, and full of potential—but not quite a favorite.
At first, I thought Ink Stain was going to be a full-blown mafia romance, but while it definitely has some mafia undertones (the FMC’s father leads a Greek crime organization), it turned out to be something more emotional and psychologically heavy.
The story itself is interesting and has real potential, but it didn’t quite have that “spark” that makes me instantly obsessed by the end. That said, it did keep me hooked because the emotions and relationships were so complicated that it led to me doing research on attachment styles and the WHY of different aspects in trauma and such, as well as NEEDING to see how everything unfolded.
This is an MFM instalove romance, and while that trope can go either way for me, it worked decently here. There are strong hints of trauma (a few flashbacks, nothing extremely graphic imo) in all three characters—Thea, Levi, and Niko—and you can see how their past abuse shaped their attachment styles and behaviors. Thea’s fearful-avoidant nature was believable but frustrating at times, while Niko’s jealous, anxious attachment was heartbreaking—especially when he admitted the source of his anger about Thea to Levi:
“…like I was going to be brushed aside now that she was there. She would replace me and you would toss me away like everyone else in my life has.”
The emotions were deep and messy, but that’s what made them feel real.
The spice was higher than I expected—3.5 to 4/5 🌶️. There’s double penetration, choking, and dominant/submissive dynamics that fit the characters’ personalities well. The scenes were hot, but also emotionally charged, which added to the connection rather than just existing for shock value.
My only real issue was the tone—it felt a bit immature at times, almost adolescent in the voice and pacing. It didn’t ruin the story, but it occasionally pulled me out of the moment. Still, the plot and emotion were enough to keep me invested.
It’s a good read overall—spicy, emotional, and complex—but just slightly off from being great. Definitely more of a 3.5 star read.

WOW Kaila Rose really outdid herself with this spicy book! This MFM style book was sexy and straight up amazing in all the best ways! I love how Levi and Niko really went the extra mile to break down Thea's walls. Levi, Niko, and thea had a lot of past traumas that made them hesitant to live and love again. yet they did and it was a very beautiful thing. I really wished Levi was a very real man because I feel like he was just the absolute sweetheart. he was dominant he was fierce he was loving but at the same time he just no matter what he had been through he just loves so hard regardless. I will tell you this you know an author truly captivates you when they have you literally up and down emotionally in a book. Mrs.Kaila did that to me.There were times I cried a little.There were times I smiled, there were times I laughed there were also times when I was screaming in my head WTF!
That's what made this book so amazing to me. I read this book super quick because it was addicting from page one. It was a very smooth read. I loved how she built the scenes, as well as the characters up perfectly through the book. It was also a very fast paced book which I loved as well! this is the first book I have read by Kalia Rose but it will not be the last. I'm currently looking for the rest of her books tonight I'm going to binge the crap out of them.

Spicy, suspense filled with humour!
The FMC is on the run. She has a dark past and the scars to prove it. She never stays anywhere for too long and those pesky men she met just keep stopping her from keeping her head straight and on her goal "stay hidden, keep moving and don't get too close to anyone."
First MMC Levi - He is a totally hot, young tattoo artist who loves to be in control in the bedroom. When he met our FMC he met his match. She's both submissive and a total bratt, that keeps him on his toes and digs herself into his heart!
Second MMC Niko - He too is a tattoo artist but is the laid back one, who teases Levi for being wrapped around a woman's finger! That is until he sees, and feels *ahem* what has got Levi so hell bent on keeping her.
Together, they have their trials and are separated more than once... Question is, will it be a HEA for the 3 or just the 2!? I guess if you're going to fall for 2 men, picking 2 who like to share women, is definitely a bonus!
Mild BDSM, spanking, crossing ⚔️, trauma bonding, touch him and 💀, kidnapping, touch her and 💀, morally grey men with good intentions, the streets VS crime lord... There are some triggers, but it's not too dark. It's a great read and kept me wanting to keep going... Unfortunately, I had to sleep for a few hours before I could get back to finishing it 🙄 damn sleep and real life 🤭

Boyyyyyyyy this book was STEAMY. As someone who was obsessed with Kalia’s other series, this story was something I was so excited to dive into.
I haven’t really ever read MFM so this was a nice change of pace for me. To start, We love a traumatic bond between not only one love interest but TWO. To be honest I was really rocky about Nikko at first but I’m happy to say he was by far, my favorite love interest in the story. His whiplash of emotions with Thea were frustrating at times but very reasonable considering how fast pace the story was.
Some things I will say that dings a star for me is how fast pace the story went, I feel like I was just missing more of a connection with the love interests. I would have liked to see them get to know each other more before the plot took off. Everything felt kinda rushed to me. I love the story and how the plot unfolded, I just wish there was more of a bonding experience between Levi, Nikko, and Thea. Another thing I would say is that while I loved Nikos and Thea’s flashbacks I also wished I had gotten to see more of Levi’s flashbacks because he also came from a broken home.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book! The spice was SPICY and I am soooo into these characters and I’m dying to see Kalia’s interpretation of Thea’s tattoos.

A beautiful fast-paced love story between Levi, Niko, and Thea, and all it starts with, is a tattoo.
Thea is a strong FMC, and she falls hard and fast for the two men. And who can blame her? They are the sweetest! Niko's backstory hit me the hardest. Levi and Niko connected like brothers, and that bond couldn't be stronger.
Nearing the end, I was afraid one of the two was going to die, and I was freaking out! But it had a satisfying ending. In fact, the ending left me a lasting sweet feeling.
Okay, now that I'm done talking about the story, can I talk about the tattoos in the book? They were hecking awesome! The Loki tattoo was amazing, but somehow, that kitten tattoo took the spotlight. I won’t give details about it because, first, spoilers, second, it could trigger people without context, but that one was definitely my favorite!

I loved this book! Trauma, cat and mouse, and love! Who doesn’t love when love finds you when you are least expecting it! Trying to outrun from someone you have been hiding from for years to find two guys who will do anything for you! Yes! I am all for it!!
This book has great steamy scenes and shows one of the interests fighting against falling. They each have their own trauma from when they were younger. I had a hard time with Niko and his attitude towards Thea during one part of the book but later understood how and why he acted the way he did. Not that it was right, but does trauma ever let us act the right way sometimes?
Read this book! You will enjoy this one! This is my first read from this author but won’t be my last!! Great job with this book!

Where to even begin? This was a wild ride in every sense of the word and the main characters are not only beautifully written, but complex and absolutely heart breaking. If you would have told me, I would have cried at a book like this, I wouldn't have believed you! But with how well done this is written and the way the scenes are, I felt my heart drop to my stomach a few times. There is such depth to this story, with all each one of the main characters have gone through, both past and present and again, I can't recommend it enough! It was wrapped up beautifully and the spice was absolutely memorable and breathtaking!

Where do I even start? I read this book in about 5 1/2 hours, I could not put it down!! This book had everything you could imagine. Cat and mouse, trauma, storyline, great smut scenes that had me turned on. And yes, my husband very much enjoyed this book. 🤣😂
This was my first read by Kalia, and this book did not disappoint. It is one of my top fives for the year! I have been recommending it to all my fellow smut lovers. And who doesn’t love a smart book with HEA at the end? There were a lot of nice twist and turns and unexpected things I didn’t see coming and the love and lust story of the three character’s and how it evolves despite all of their past traumas. This is a must read!!!

Oh my, this book is in the lead of my top 3 reads of 2025! It is a great dark, twisted, mafia, tattoo shop artist romance read which gets 5+ Star 🌟 read! It has you going through all your feels, has you having a panick attack, keeps you guessing, and on your toes, then the ending Holy crap didn't see that coming but so glad it did. If you're into dark, twisted, suspense, physical, and mental trauma, mafia reads definitely check this book out. Great Job Kalia Rose 🌹

Kalia has done it again with a rollercoaster of a book, it was another great read with twists and turns and spice, plenty of spice. Our MCs are flawed with plenty of trauma but are the perfect match.
An enjoyable read that was faced paced and well written. I will definitely be stalking this authors socials to see what she releases next.

Loved so much about this but I don’t want to spoil anything!! I am a HUGE Niko fan 🤭 and the spice is incredible. Love the connections the characters had between one another and their back stories. There’s trauma bonding, a whiplash of emotions between character’s and a great plot in between it all. Wish there was more to read about these characters!

To start off, I am not a big why choose reader but man oh man this one just hits different! The relationship between Thea and Levi was amazing but then you add in Niko! 🥵🥵

never wanted to put it down
What an amazing read! The story was amazing while the spicy was there as well. This book is more than just spicy I love that Kalia’s books all have amazing story lines. I absolutely loved this book! I suggest everyone should read it. I couldn’t put it down. Just kept reading till it was done.

I had a great time reading Ink Stain! I’m not typically a fan of instalove and did feel it moved quickly, but I still loved the connections between the three! All the characters were great and the plot while again quick was very good!
