While on the trail of the murderous coward, Missouri Jake, JT Winters finds himself in the small mining town of Temptation. Against his better judgment, JT agrees to help track down a killer who is terrorizing the town. He soon finds himself teamed up with the last person he would have expected, Sheriff Steve Mossman. As the bodies pile up, JT and Mossman struggle to not only find the killer, but also to find a way to work together. Is the killer the town drunk, one of the men trying to acquire the mining rights in the town, or is it someone closer than they believe? All the while, JT continues to struggle with his true identity. Is he the loving father and husband his wife believed him to be, or is he destined to be the Angel of Death, destined to spread bloodshed, death, and shattered lives wherever the trail leads him?

About the author

Scott grew up in the small town of Guin, AL. He attended the University of Alabama where he majored in history and literature. Scott has worked for the University of Alabama Police Department, the Guin Volunteer Fire Department, and served as an EOD Tech in the US Army. His first writing experience came as a sports writer for the Journal Record in Hamilton, AL covering high school football games. Scott is the author of both the Angel of Death Series and the Paul Lott Series. He currently lives in Texas with his wife Belinda and their two daughters.
