USA Today bestselling author Alexx Andria crafts another MC romance that will leave her readers breathless.
When Delainey Jones pictured the love of her life, she never imagined a hard-as-nails MC leader who is as bad as they come but when a man climbs through her window, bleeding from a gunshot wound and needing a place to hide, all she can see is one hot, sexy man in need of her help and she doesn't hesitate.
But Delainey's compassionate nature might be her undoing because this man isn't the kind a sweet, trusting woman like Delainey should let in her bed...or her heart. In fact, he's the worst kind of man for a woman like her. Too bad she can't seem to get enough.
Bronx Harris doesn't know what to think of the curvy strawberry blonde but he does know that she's pretty sexy and he's down with recuperating with her as his personal nurse while he lays low. But all too soon, Bronx finds himself feeling more than he should - more than what's safe - for the curvy, innocent woman and he knows he ought to walk away. But Delainey is like a drug in his system and before long, walking away feels like the last thing he wants to do...even though he knows he'll never be the man she needs him to be.
Can their love survive the collateral damage of two worlds colliding? Find out in the thrilling sequel to Alexx Andria's Kings of Asphalt, Club Chrome series

Done with this at 20%. It's really my fault for reading this when the first one was so utterly stupid. Still hate the bitch from the first book more, Dee is slightly less stupid than her BFF. Here are my reasons for calling it quits:
1. Too stupid to live heroine: a man, with a gun shot wound, from a known outlaw motorcycle gang, who are the mortal enemies of your BFF's baby daddies, collapses through your window in the middle of the night and you think it's ok to let him stay. Um, yeah. She did that. Didn't call the cops, take him - with open bullet wounds - to the hospital or call her BFF's boy toys. He's the hottest man she's ever seen, which means he must be safe right? *face palm*
2. I find it hard to believe that a 27 yo woman, virgin or not, is so totally naive and oblivious about sex. She confesses to reading romance novels so she at least knows that a pussy is a pussy and not "a basement" or a "down there" and that getting hot and bothered isn't "getting the tingles down there". So pathetic. For crying out loud we live in the era of free porn where you can google 'acceptable euphemisms for your hot box that don't make you sound like a pre-pubescent child' and probably get a million hits.
3. And here is the proverbial straw that broke the camels back. She lies to him about being a virgin, no biggie...he fingers her and makes her come by massaging her g-spot - still doing okay - less than 5 minutes later he rams into her and encounters a miracle hymen that wasn't there before. Apparently it withstands 27 years - not likely. The hymen isn't even a wall or barrier, it actually has a small opening but it's not big enough for certain things and can tear open when something really thick tries to get through it something like, I don't know, some long thick ass fingers up your twat. If he reached her elusive g-spot - that fucker is not easy to find and is pretty deep in there - without encountering the resistance odds are it wasn't there anymore. Let's put an end to hymen myths in bad 'erotic' romance.
Don't even care what happens at this point. In all honesty when he thought about her as fat on more than one occasion I kinda hated him.
The cover caught my eye and the fact that it's an MC book..but you know what they say? Don't judge a book by it's cover and in this case it works both ways..
At the first 15% I wanted to give up because I was questioning my sanity and the characters sanity.
Delaney is a 27 year old virgin who one night hearts a thump and finds a shot man in her apartment..that crawled through her window! What does a sane person do? Run! And call the cops!
But, oh no, not her..she plays nurse after playing peeping tom! So she takes her highschool education class on nursing and starts playing nurse.. Gunshot wound, fainted from bleeding out, and no she doesn't call the police or takes him to the hospital, she rubs alcohol on it and places a band aid. I shit you not! No blood transfusion, nothing, the man is effing the next day! Super powers!!
The first 90% of the book all take place of 4 days.. The next day she offers him a shower, sees his huge penis, asks to touch it, 30 minutes later she is handing in her V-card to an asshole.
Bronx is not just a biker, he is a dick, he is mean, rude and just an asshole all together.. For example the girl saved your life, with her alcohol and band aids, you call her thick, then she is a fat bitch but when she smiles she could be some what pretty, but the next day she is sexy. Split-personality much?
So, day 1 which is really day 2 since he spent the night on the floor, she loses her virginity.
Day 3, she is letting him stick it in her ass, because she loves him. Her heart speaks to his! Shit you not!
Day 4, she is having unprotected sex, and in her head is picking out a house for their 2.5 kids, a dog, and a white picket fence..
Day 5, he leaves her.
Day 22, (17 days later) she finds out she is pregnant!
And on and on does the cycle of stupidity go..
So what do we have? We have one fat/thick/fat/ low self-esteemed 27 year old virgin that fell in love with an asshole within 3 days! Oh yea!
It's an okay book. Hated the ending.... you just don't do what he did...in real life he would be dead. Also Delainey should have made him beg
I read the first book and it wasn't exactly terrible but it's what I call over the top...a bit cheesey. Since I read the two I'm going to read the last book... Curious to see who it's about. I already figured this one out and hoping the next is who I'm thinking about.
I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I knew Alexx Andria was known for her short and very steamy erotica and fantasy romance novellas but I am a big biker romance lover, so my intro to her work was Kings of Asphalt, the first book in this series. In that book we met BBW Zoe and her two hottie biker lovers Jax and Hunter who manage to not only happily have a menage a trois but continue on with an HEA as a solid family. All Dogs Bite is the story of Zoe's BFF and fellow big beautiful woman Delainey Jones, known as Dee to her friends, who meets the sexy but really bad boy leader of the Road Dogs MC when he climbs up a fire escape and into her apartment window one night, after being shot. Not only is Bronx Harris a dangerous criminal, but he also happens to be head of the gang who are the rivals of her BFF Zoe's men from The Kings of Asphalt...which puts her in a delicate position of having to not tell anyone who she is hiding in her apartment. Dee is a gorgeous strawberry blonde who unfortunately has been made to feel less than beautiful her whole life, a self-referenced "fat girl" who was the butt of jokes and bullying her whole life and who never felt good enough to be with a hot muscled man like Bronx. Bronx has been fighting his own demons as well...someone wants him dead, he has a clingy club whore who is making his life miserable and he feels like he is a worthless piece of crap for the life he has been living, not worthy of anyone's love. So of course when you throw these two damaged and lonesome people together in hiding, you just know sparks will happen (good and bad) and for poor sweet Dee, who is bored with her dull single life, this is her chance to take a walk on the wild side and maybe have a taste of what her friend Zoe has with her hot alpha male lovers. I really loved this book for a few reasons...first because although it was an MC book, it was more about the relationships than the club business, and second because it dealt with some serious issues like body image, low self esteem and there were some interesting twists along the way that would just spoil the story for the readers...so I will not say what they are, just that it was a much deeper and more complex story than what you would expect. What made this book "speak" to me was the unexpected surprising "villians" in the story, the major plot point that brings together a group of unlikely partners to bring down some evil doers and the beautiful turn of events for Dee and Bronx as they both figure out if they can make their relationship work for the long haul. A really good sequel with a lot more depth and just as much steamy romance as you would expect from Alexx Andria, but with an important message as well.
***** 5 ***** "some dogs bark worse than they bite" stars
Normally I do not write reviews. There are only extreme cases that I do. One is if the book goes above and beyond anything else that I have read, and the other is when the author is trying to get the reader to believe something and accept something that just isn't right.
I'm a big MC novel junky. I almost didn't read book two because of the cheating in the first book, but I did like the overall story so I thought that I would give the second book a try because surely the author wouldn't have cheating in every one of her MC books, would she? Well yes, yes she would.
Book 2 reminded me an awful lot of Book 1. Bad boy doing what bad boys do...cheating! Well, not all bad boys cheat when they find the woman they love, but in these books they do. In the first novel of this series, Asphalt Kings, there was a whole detailed chapter about Hunter cheating but Zoe never finds out and he never even confides in his best friend and fellow menage mate about his infidelity. Had Zoe ever found out that her man had cheated I am sure their story would have ended much differently. I absolutely hated both Hunter and now Bronx. Delainey should have cut him loose. Oh, wait, he didn't want to OUT himself.
Now in All Dogs Bite, Bronx has a woman give him a blow job and the author sets about trying to make you believe that it wasn't cheating since he didn't have sex with the woman (HE DID THINK ABOUT IT THOUGH). Hey, it's a sexual act therefore it is classified as sex. I know without a doubt that if my man had his dick in another woman's mouth having her suck him off and coming down her throat I would consider it cheating and would have left him high and dry. I don't believe Bronx loves Delainey or he wouldn't have had a woman suck him off, nor does he ever tell her that he loves her anywhere in their story. Towards the end he tells her that while they were not together (broken up) that he had sex with Monica a few times, but he still did not admit to the blow job he received from Monica while they had been together. I just don't believe you can build a lasting, loving relationship without complete honesty and disclosure.
Now I am curious to see if all of her MC men are cheaters and am contemplating whether or not to waste me time reading the third and last book in the series, Up in Flames.
Below are a few scenes from the book that I really hated with my thoughts in capital letters with parentheses around them. *********** “Fuck that, it’s not sweet at all,” he contradicted her. “It’s the truth. Look at my dick, baby girl. Does that look like I’m just being sweet?” Indeed, his cock was already half-swelling just lying there naked together. “My dick doesn't rise for just anyone. He likes you.” (YEAH DELAINEY, JUST WAIT UNTIL YOU GO TO SLEEP AND I RETURN TO MY APARTMENT WHERE ONE OF MY FUCK BUDDIES WILL BE THERE TO GIVE ME A BLOW JOB TO FINISH OFF DOWN HER THROAT. I WILL ALSO KISS HER AND FILL UP HER PUSSY WHILE THINKING ABOUT FUCKING HER. HEY, BUT REMEMBER I SAID THAT MY COCK DOESN'T GET HARD FOR JUST ANYONE!)
Jax and Hunter had a thing for sharing women, which was something he’d never fucking understand. He didn’t like to share anything. Too much time spent in foster care in his childhood where nothing belonged to him had made him territorial about his stuff. And to share a woman with another man in the same fucking bed? No way. His gaze tracked to the bedroom where Delainey was asleep and he snarled quietly at the thought of another man putting his motherfucking hands on her body. (BUT IT'S OK FOR ANOTHER WOMAN TO PUT HER HANDS ON HIM AND FOR HIM TO TOUCH AND KISS ANOTHER WOMAN). He’d rip them off. Shake it off, man. You’re not thinking straight, came that voice of reason that only made sense when he wasn’t balls deep inside of his curvy girl.
(HE'S JUST A LITTLE POSSESSIVE OF DELAINEY. HE SEEMS TO THINK HE CAN HAVE HIS CAKE AND EAT IT TOO. HEY, IF YOU CAN'T BE WITH THE ONE YOU LOVE, LOVE THE ONE YOU'RE WITH, RIGHT?! I THINK NOT).
The woman opened her eyes and stared blearily his way. Her small tits - a nice handful by most standards but not by his now that he’d sampled Delainey’s fabulous rack- were out on display as was everything else because Monica always slept naked. “Baby, is that you? Oh my God, I thought you were dead,” she said, slurring her words.
Great, she was doped up. Maybe that would work in his favor. “Hey Monica, I need your help, baby,” he said, going to the side of the bed to rummage through his nightstand. “Can you help me?”
(KEEP IN MIND HE'D JUST HAD SEX WITH DELAINELY AND LEFT HER SLEEPING IN BED TO COME TO HIS APARTMENT TO GET HIS MOTORCYCLE).
“Sure, honey,” she agreed, trying to sober up. She grinned hazily as she squeezed her tits and giggled. “I know exactly how I can help you.”
He smothered the wrinkle in his upper lip that threatened as he tried to act as if everything was the same as it ever was. He forced himself (OH COME ON! REALLY? FORCED HIMSELF??) to pinch her nipple and smile. “That’s my girl. But I need you to pay attention right now.”
She pouted but quickly clamored to her feet - damn, she wasn’t as doped up as he’d hoped if she could move that fast - and suddenly she was pulling him to the bed to rip at his pants. “I’ve missed this cock,” she purred, yanking at his fly while going down on her knees. “So yummy…”
Fuck. If she put his cock in her mouth…he might puke. “Monica, wait…” “I can’t wait, I’m so happy you’re alive, baby. Let me show you how much you mean to me,” she whined like a little girl and he wanted to roll his eyes. “Later, babe,” he promised her, trying to get her off his dick but Monica was like a beast on a bone - literally - and before he could stop her, that big, pouty mouth was sucking him down her throat like a wide-mouth bass on a June bug and all he could do was not shout and push her away like something diseased. (SEE, WHAT DID I TELL YOU, HE GETS HARD WITHOUT LIKING THE PERSON. AND NOPE, HE DIDN'T PUKE, NOT EVEN A LITTLE REGURGITATION. IMAGINE THAT!)
Holy hell, he used to gleefully fuck Monica without a second thought, now he couldn’t even imagine. In fact, if it weren’t for the fact that Monica had a mouth that could suck the chrome from a ball hitch, he would’ve lost his erection. But getting a blow job, even by someone you thought was disgusting, was still a blow job, right? (AAANNNDDD IT WAS STILL CHEATING YOU ASSHOLE!)
He closed his eyes and let Monica do her thing until he was, finally - thank God (OH POOR BABY, IT WAS REALLY SUCH A HARDSHIP TO HAVE YOUR DICK SUCKED!) - ready to come. He pictured Delainey and tried to forget that it was Monica and not his beautiful, sweet girl that was pleasuring him just so he could get it over with. (NOT FEELING GUILTY IN THE LEAST).
He grunted as a meager, pathetic spurt burst into her mouth (BUT COME HE DID) and before Monica even had a chance to swallow, he’d yanked his cock out and tucked it away, wanting to shower and scrub with bleach but he’d come for a reason; his bike and information…
Mollified for a half-second, she queried with open suspicion, “You fucking with someone else? Where are you staying? You better not be shacking up with LuLu, that whore. I’ll fucking rip every hair from her nasty-ass head and cut your dick off if you are.” (AS FAR AS I KNOW THESE TWO HAVEN'T EVER BEEN A COUPLE, JUST FUCK BUDDIES AND SHE IS THREATENING AN MC PRESIDENT TO CUT OFF HIS DICK? YEAH, BITCH WOULD BE DEAD).
“Watch your fucking mouth when you talk to me, woman,” he shot back, a flash of color giving his tone a mean edge. Monica backed down, knowing he meant business but there was a glint in her eye that told him she was going to be trouble. Good grief, why the hell did he ever start messing around with her? Bad judgment on his part. (BUT JUST GETTING A BLOW JOB FROM HER AND CHEATING WASN'T BAD JUDGMENT?)
For the sake of appearances, he jerked her to him and cupped her cunt possessively, squeezing hard. “Stop being such a jealous bitch, it’s unattractive, baby.” (AH, YEAH, I DON'T THINK I REALLY NEED TO SAY WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS. BUT FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO THINK THAT A MAN GETTING A BLOW JOB ISNOT CHEATING; IF MY MAN CUPS A WOMAN'S CUNT LIKE THIS I GUARANTEE YOU THAT I WOULD HAVE A PROBLEM. THIS ASSHOLE HAS NO REASON TO BE POSSESSIVE OF DELAINEY WHEN HE IS OUT FUCKING AROUND ON HER; TOUCHING AND GETTING TOUCHED INAPPROPRIATELY BY AND TO ANOTHER WOMAN. WOULDN'T HE HAVE A PROBLEM WITH DELAINEY GETTING ATE OUT BY ANOTHER MAN, OR DELAINEY GIVING ANOTHER MAN A HAND JOB?)
She looped her arm around his neck, pressing herself against him, her gaze narrowing. “Well, don’t give me a reason, you beautiful whore,” she retorted sweetly before sealing her mouth to his, sticking her tongue in his mouth. (AGAIN, HOW WOULD HE FEEL IF DELAINEY WAS KISSING ANOTHER MAN?)
She forced his hand to rub her pubic mound (REALLY? FORCED HIS HAND? THIS IS A BAD ASS MOTHERFUCKING BIKER! NO WOMAN WOULD FORCE HIM TO DO ANYTHING.) and groaned against his lips. “God, you’re a fucking tease. Are you sure you don’t have time for a quickie?”
He should just fuck her to quell any suspicion she might have brewing in her jealous brain but he’d rather stick his dick in a meat grinder. For all her faults, Monica was an exciting lay. She was wild - dangerous even - in bed and that usually turned him on. She scratched and clawed, hell, Monica was known to bite on occasion but somehow it felt like a betrayal to Delainey if he went there. But why? (HEY DUMB ASS! YOU ALREADY BETRAYED DELAINEY BY GETTING A BLOW JOB FROM THE SKANK, KISSING THE WHORE, AND TOUCHING AND RUBBING HER PUSSY!!)
You aren’t in some kind of relationship with the woman - you’re using her, that shitty little voice in the back of his head mocked his reluctance with scorn. If he gave Monica what she wanted, he’d buy himself a little more time because a happy Monica was a silent Monica.
“C’mon, baby,” she crooned, pulling him toward the bed as she dropped to her hands and knees, presenting her skinny ass for him. “No one fucks me like you do.” She reached between her legs and began rubbing herself. She groaned, undulating her hips as she pleasured herself. “Do it, baby. Stick it in, fuck me hard! C’mon, I need you!”
Jesus. He couldn’t fuck her if he wanted to. His dick was as limp and useless as an overcooked noodle. (WELL YEAH IT'S LIMP BECAUSE YOU JUST LEFT DELAINEY HOME IN BED AFTER YOU FUCKED HER BRAINS OUT, AND IT WAS JUST HARD FOR MONICA TO SUCK YOU OFF UNTIL YOU BLEW YOUR WAD DOWN HER THROAT!) Sweat beaded his brow. Well, he was in a fucking tight spot, wasn’t he? (NO NOT IF HE LOVED DELAINEY AND WANTED TO BE WITH HER). He had no interest in fucking Monica but if he didn’t, she’d tell anyone and everyone he was alive, just out of spite, because she was that kind of woman. His hand strayed to his fly but stopped short of popping the button. He couldn’t do it. (REALLY? YOU'VE ALREADY DID MORE THAN YOU SHOULD HAVE AND ALL OF THE SUDDEN YOU DEVELOP A CONSCIOUS?)
Fuck me. What was happening to him? When had he ever passed up the opportunity to dip his wick? Never. (AND YOU STILL HAVEN'T SINCE YOU JUST LET MONICA SUCK YOU OFF ASSHOLE). But the thought of sinking into that drippy, overused hole, made him want to vomit. (OH COME ON, YOU DIDN'T "PUKE" LIKE YOU THOUGHT YOU WOULD WHEN MONICA GAVE YOU THE BLOW JOB AND NOW YOU WANT US TO BELIEVE THAT YOU'LL VOMIT? DAMN AT THIS POINT I WANT TO VOMIT).
His jaw firming, he slapped Monica’s ass hard and when she squealed and flipped around he reminded her that she wasn’t in charge. “When I’m interested in fucking you, I’ll let you know, babe. In the meantime, chill out and keep your mouth shut, you hear me?”…
Bronx climbed into Delainey’s bed, emotionally strung out and feeling like the biggest fraud in the world with Delainey snuggling up to him like the sweetest thing he’d ever known and it was eating him up inside. The why of it was what kept poking at him. Why was he feeling so tore up inside? (BECAUSE HE JUST CHEATED, THAT IS WHY). He’d known Delainey all of three days — he didn’t owe her anything in the way of fidelity so why did he feel this overwhelming need to confess his sins?
The memory of Monica’s mouth on him made him want to wash again. At one time, he and Monica had been a pretty regular thing – fuck buddies, really. She understood that he didn’t want a commitment from her and she knew better to expect it from him. (UM, DIDN'T ANYONE TELL MONICA THAT BECAUSE SHE JUST TOLD HIM THAT SHE WOULD BEAT UP ANY BITCH HE WAS FUCKING AND CUT OFF HIS DICK. THAT DOESN'T SOUND LIKE JUST FUCK BUDDIES TO ME). But there’d been no such conversation with Delainey. It would crumple her soft heart to know that he was such an unfeeling bastard.
But was he? If that were truly the case, he wouldn’t be wasting another minute stressing over what amounts to a momentary release and a terrible inconvenience. He hadn’t wanted Monica to give him a blow job. (IF HE DIDN'T WANT THE BLOW JOB HE WOULDN'T HAVE GOTTEN HARD AND HE WOULDN'T HAVE ALLOWED HER NEAR HIS COCK!) That in itself was troubling. Monica had a pretty talented technique when it came to bobbing on the knob. But he hadn’t been interested. In fact, his stomach was still roiling each time he flashed to it in his memory. (BUT HE DIDN'T PUKE AND HE DIDN'T VOMIT. HE GOT HARD FOR MONICA AND HE CAME NONE THE LESS. HE EVEN HAD THOUGHT ABOUT FUCKING HER SO I DON'T THINK HIS STOMACH OR MIND WAS THAT UPSET OVER THE WHOLE ORDEAL)
“What’s wrong?”Delainey’s quiet question interrupted his mental quandary and while he was sorely tempted to just out himself, he shrugged and tightened his hold on her.

I was more than ready for more enticing books by Alexx Andria after reading Kings of Asphalt (what a wonderful title!). Curvy girls and hot bad-ass bikers make a wonderful couple, don't you agree? ;o) In All Dogs Bite, dangerous Bronx has been shot and ends up in the accidental shelter of Delainey's apartment. After exchanging some provocative dialogues and heated statements, they consummate a suddenly irresistible passion for each other.
Besides being all kinds of hot, I enjoyed how naïve but spirited Delainey is. She is afraid to push past her boundaries and expose herself to a totally out-of-her-league, gorgeous man, but she craves to have more spike in her life and goes for it. I also liked how forceful and cheeky Bronx is. After all, he's a gang member and cannot be too gentlemanly. Still, he starts to have scare feelings for Dee and is able to see all kinds of beauty in her.
Apart from the satisfying amount of sexy times, wantonly described in very explicit terms, my favourite part was when I was made privy to Bronx's thoughts. He's had a shady life, but struggles with his conscience over Delainey and how sweet, loving she is towards him. He doesn't want to hurt or use her, though that's exactly what he fears he'll do if he stays in her life.
Great scenes in the bedroom don't make a (whole) story, however hot and passionate they may be. And they are, I assure you. No, there's much more than good, steamy passion and a pair of strongly built characters. Against his better judgment, Bronx can't stop sharing his awful past with tender Dee. All kinds of horrible things happened to him and they turn the plot into something dangerous and meaningful that changes both their lives.
I loved to see characters from Kings of Asphalt playing a pivotal part in the story as well as getting a glimpse at the mysteriously troubled Pyro.
Things get pretty heated and emotional. A dark past, angry words and remorse, all combine to break Dee's heart. I really felt sorry for both of them. Their love was a hard road to travel but totally worth it. I loved the epilogue too!
Bronx was a wild dog to tame but he turned out really good. Now on to Pyro!
Delainey Jones is a big beautiful woman. She has never had much luck dating, basically ignored by the exciting men due to her larger than size 4 size, and not interested in the men who seem to be interested in her. That all changes when a stranger crawls through her living room window hurt.
“No, don’t be silly. We’re both adults. I can help you wash if you don’t mind me seeing you naked.”
Bronx Harris is not a nice guy. He’s the president of The Road Dogs Motorcycle Club. He’s never been interested in falling in love or committing to a woman for more than one night. Then again, he’s never met anyone like Delainey Jones.
“Cuddle? Was that even a word in his vocabulary?”
I enjoyed this story, I love MC books. There were a couple of things about the book that bothered me. The story line doesn’t follow through in some places. One minute, someone is naked and then they are instantly dressed. Also, in some places I found the writing to be cliché. The good things about this book are the sex scenes are HOT!! The story is nice and the reader gets a glimpse into what is going on with the characters from book one. The female character is strong, independent and a real, full sized woman, bonus points for that! I give this book 3.5 stars with 4 hands down the pants.
“One thing Bronx was good at reading women and he wasn’t beneath using all his knowledge to his advantage.”
I received this book in excahnge for an honest review. I love the MC series and this one does not disappoint! I loved the fact that deep down Bronx wasn't such a messed up guy after all. And I was certainly surprised towards the end, when the wanna be assassin was revealed. You wan't to know who it is? You got to read this book to find out... And of course, the budding romance between Dee and Bronx was so sweet and the bedroom scenes were scorching hot!! What more can you ask for? Loved, Loved, Loved this book!! Alexx , you know how to bring it!!
Alexx this is a great MC (motorcycle club) book,2nd in the series. Bronx is a bad biker boy who meets Dee a curvy girl with a v-card to loss, under strange circumstances and finds love/romance. This is a well written story with great characters!!!! Alexx writes GREAT books I highly recommend, some are more graphic than others, but the sex scenes are hot hot hot!!!! LOVED THIS BOOK AND SERIES AS WELL AS HER OTHER BOOKS!!!!!!!
This was a quick read, under 200 pages, but a nice story.
I am not sure who would like a wounded man fall into their apartment and let them stay without calling the cops, but oh well stranger things have happened....
This is the second in the series and I liked the story line and the characters, its refreshing to read a book where the female character is not a size 0 who has the perfect hair, skin and clothes.
There should be a disclaimer on this book: read at your own risk. The female character is delusional. Of course the story is written for HEA, which is fantasy not reality. I hope everyone can figure out the difference. I will not be reading anymore of this author's work.
I don’t know why but she got on my last nerves and her naïve manner but also very worldly made me irked with her even more. Like she had this kid like mentality but also was very adult idk she just annoyed me but i liked Bronx a lot
My decision to read this book was based on 1. The cover 2. The synopsis I could not wait to sink my teeth into this one. However, after the first ten percent (10%) I began to doubt my decision. I found this story somewhat unrealistic based on the following: a. Which self-respecting and sane woman would accept a strange man with a gunshot wound into her home, proceeded to tend his wounds and never thought to call the police? In addition, you find out that this man is the leader of a notorious motorcycle and you allow him to hide out at your home. b. I don’t possess a medical degree, but I know that it’s not possible to dress a gunshot with just alcohol and band aids, especially when the person is bleeding profusely. c. I found it strange that Delainey could fall hopelessly in love with Bronx and she knew nothing about him. d. In this day and age, with all the different types of STDs out there, why would one choose to have unprotected sex with someone you don’t know? e. I thought he was a jerk. Here is someone willing to help you and all you can think about is finding ways to manipulate the person. He believed Delainey to be an easy mark because of her size. How cruel and sexist is that? It was these things that irritated me and had me questioning my judgement to continue reading this title. However, as I am not someone who throws in the towel so easily I stuck it out. Well, you are probably wondering if it was worthwhile to stick it out. I must admit there were some redeeming qualities. Bronx’s back story made for some interesting reading. It provided me with a clearer picture of why he was the way he is not that it’s an excuse to treat Delainey so poorly. This revelation led to some really bad people being put behind bars where they deserved to be. The investigation into who wanted him dead also helped in the redemption of this story for me. It was interesting to discover who was behind his shooting. I thought Delainey was a good influence for Bronx as she made him want to change the way he lived his life. Bronx, on the other hand is scared of how she made him feel and he was not sure if he would be able to handle being in love with her. He is not willing to face up to his feelings which helped create heartache and pain for both parties. I loved the way the story was wrapped up as it does not leave readers hanging. Overall, this was an ok read.
Perfect addition to the series! I loved that this book was a full-length book. I felt I really got to know the characters indepth. Bronx was one tough and sexy MC guy. Who doesn’t love a hot guy on a motorcycle?
Just like the first book Kings of Asphalt, this book has a nice underlying suspense story that ties it so perfectly to the first book. I really enjoyed this element of the story. I was hanging on to my seat in suspense at one point.
Bronx Harris is the President of an MC and one bad boy but a softy on the inside. I love these kind of guys. They are so fun to read when they are falling in love. When an unfortunate event lands him in the living room of good girl Delainey Jones can he let his guard down and fall in love?
Delainey is a great character. She is a happy good girl but wonders what it would be like to experience the hot sex her best friend is having. Dee is innocent but feisty. Bronx is the ultimate bad boy with a complicated past. He does have a conscious and it haunts him terribly. Delainey has her hang ups with her figure but Bronx loves how she looks. I love Alexx’s writing and her gals. They are real women and the guys are not ashamed of that. Can Delainey be patient with Bronx for her HEA? Read it to find out!
This book will take you on a roller coaster ride of emotions. I laughed, teared up at one point, and the best part fell in love with these characters. There are several heavy subject covered and written very well.
I love that Alexx gives us a sweet epilogue. I love stories that wrap up with a neat little bow. Be prepared for some hot lovin in this book! Bronx wouldn’t have it any other way. I would recommend this book and the first in the series as well. I will be reading the rest of the books in the series as they come out.
My Favorite Quotes:
She sensed goodness in him. Maybe it was in the way he touched her or the way that he looked at her. There was something about him that made her want to defend, and hold him.
“You don’t know me, Delainey… don’t give me your heart. It’ll only end up bad for you.” – Bronx
“I know there’s goodness in you, Bronx. It calls to me and I can’t stop listening. I’ve never been happier than I am right now. That’s the truth. You’re everything I never realized I wanted. - Delainey
Okay MC book but not special. MC books have different tiers with writers like Madeline Sheehan, Kristen Ashley, Johanna Wilde, Nicole Jacquelyn (and others) on the top tier of authors who write five star books; Jamie Begley, J C Emery, Lani Lynn Vale (and others) on the next tier who write four or five star MC books, and then some other authors who write three star books that are okay. Then there are the other MC books, some just okay and some just bad. This is an okay one--a quick read with some MC stuff and some hot sex scenes. This one also has some social commentary about foster kids and a slight mystery to be solved. Delaine and Bronx need each other even though they are from different worlds. It is the juxtaposition of them and their worlds that make this into the okay bracket.
I liked this book quite a bit. Dare I say I might have like it more than the first book, regardless of how much I love Jax and Hunter. The main reason I think that is though, is because the main “love interests”, per se, get to hang around each other and get to know each other a bit better before the final “we’re meant to be” thing, which was nice.
Bronx is definitely a hunky bad boy, and the only thing I disliked somewhat is…
***SPOILER ALERT***
…that a ton of books, including this one, seems determined to have the girl knocked up by the end. Not everybody gets pregnant, having a baby doesn’t automatically change people and make for a HEA.
But aside from that, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and am interested to learn more about Pyro.
Lite MC story about MC prez who was shot and met the heroine when he climbs thru her open window. Heroine is a BBW with body issues and a virgin. Insta lust relationship the very next day and they begin a sexual relationship. At first,I was not sure that I was going to like this book,it came across as cheesy lite porn the first few chapters, but as I read futher, the story and characters kept my intrest and I wound up really enjoying this read so much that I hope there is a book for the character Pyro and will go back to read the first book in the series that is a menage about the heroine's best friend and the two guys who knew the hero when they were younger.
All Dogs Bite by Alexx Andria was such a great read. There were part’s that just didn’t click for me, but for the most part, I really enjoyed the story. It shows how love can change a person for the better if they let it. This story is also a prime example of how opposites attract. I thought it was ironic that the two friends of this story ended up with the leaders of rival MC. That is about how life is though. I give this book 4 stars because I would recommend this book to anyone that asked about it. Alexx finds a way to bring the characters to life and makes a bond between them that stays with you after the story is over.
3 1/2-4 stars. This is going to sound weird, but this is one of those book I liked, but not sure why. Usually I would think of it as so over-the-top it would border on ridiculous, but I still enjoyed it. Here are my thoughts--I thought the storyline was actually good. For the most part, I enjoyed the character--Super bad-a$$ H. Sweet but sassy h. Very spicy, but had nice actual relationship aspect, and a good suspense subplot. Liked the secondary characters who had their own book--I did not read that one, but did not feel I missed anything. I will probably read their story soon.
Wow! Love MC books and this was hot. Storyline was entertaining, fast paced and steamy. Bronx and Dee are definitely opposites attract. Bronx is a badass biker hiding from whoever wants to kill him while recovering from getting shot. Dee sweet, innocent and has always felt like a fat plain "Jane" due to her curves and not fitting the thin stereotype rescues him. Loved their interaction and characters. Would recommend.
All Dogs Bite (MC romance) (Club Chrome Book 2) I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I have to say that every time i read a book from Author Alexx Andria, i'm more convinced she is a great writer and does not disappoint! Another MC Romance book from The Chrome Series. It's a really good sequel and a HOT steamy romance between Bronx and Delainey. He is a bad boy and she is so sweet and fun. I recommended it!
I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
The story line intrigued me. Dee is a larger woman who finds a man on her living room floor who has been shot. Instead of calling the police, she nurses the guy, Bronx, back to health. Bronx is the leader of the Road Dogs MC. He plans on using Dee for a place to lay low for a while and they end up in bed together.
While I liked the story, Dee seemed too naive for living in the real world.
I concur with Mo Better's review ( https://www.goodreads.com/review/show... ), but the author's writing style and marginal sympathy for certain charactets (due to their background story) helped me make it through the book. Still, this was my first by Alexx Andria and may be my last.
Dee & Bronx. They are worlds apart but fate shoved Bronx into Dee's life with a bullet hole. The story of this unconventional couple is a slow burner. It's characters remained true to Kings of Asphalt. It has plenty of drama, enthusiastic Virgin & motor cycle gang philosophy. Easy read
This series just keeps getting better and better. I love the drama and the twist and turns. I love that the women are bigger girls and the men can't keep their hands off of them.
I love these men, rough, forty, hard edges, but when they meet the woman for them, these Club Chrome guys polish and clean up nice!! Thus is Dee snd Bronx's story. Very well worth reading!
