I absolutely love this book. The worlds are so beautiful! Yanhua, Dhatoora - I could live in these dimensions. I can't wait to see some other worlds in a sequel. Hopefully where the Ice Huntress lives 😎 I love all the characters and kind of got attached to some of them. I'm going to miss Jesse and the little seer. The twist towards the end was unexpected! And the conclusion was beautiful, almost made me tear up a bit. It's a great Fantasy/Sci-fi story.

A motley group of characters goes adventuring in extra-dimensional corridors to save the world as we know it. And when I say motley I mean it, we have a little boy, his mom, the queer proprietors of a magic/sex/variety shop, soldiers, and a variety of extra-dimensional folk of all shapes and sizes. It's really hard to categorize because it's so unexpected. There's a little bit of dungeon crawl flavor but without all the hack and slash.

This was a really fun read with very likeable characters. Because its self published there are some areas which could use proof-reading and editing but the overall story is solid.

I met the author at a local craft-type fair and immediately bought his two books. Hell yes, support local queer authors. Next up is Haus of Furies which has a darker Louisiana magic feel from the blurb.
