Valeria "Yay" Panlilio was an American journalist of Irish-Philippine ancestry; she was a leader, with her second husband "Marking" of a guerilla organisation in the Philippines during WWII. After the war, she wrote a popular newspaper column for the weekly 'Women's Magazine' published by the Manila Times Publishing Company, Inc.
