About the author

A native of Harlem, New York, Silk White began his writing career in 2006.

He is the author of the Urban Fiction series Tears of a Hustler & Co-Owner of Good2go Publishing and Good2Go Films.

Silk has No Way Out and Black Barbie film credits under Good2Go Films and in his spare time, loves to write and act.

He is currently producing a new movie and is hard at work on his next novel.

Great quick read

If you are seeking a hood love story with a twist of action, then you selected the right book. Story line was smooth and easy to follow. Some parts was clique however I enjoyed it. Silk's work gets better and better. You won't be disappointed.

GoodRead!! Glad I did not give up on searching for good StreetLit. This read was a good quick read, not overtly violent, yet good action, not overtly vulgar, but definitely some crazy street shit, and not overtly sexual but have some good love scenes.

Time

Dana & Ghost sibling bond was genuine. They was always there for each other. Why did Randy have to against true friends like that. Dougie was a true friend until the end. I wish they wouldn't of done the last job. Great Book

THIS WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE IN SILK WHITE'S CATALOGUE OF WORK!
WITH THE ACTION I READ IN THE BOOK I COULD EASILY ENVISION THE STORY AS SOMETHING FIT FOR THE SMALL&/OR BIG SCREEN. THE ENDING LEFT READERS WITH THE BELIEF THAT THERE HAD TO HAD BEEN A SEQUEL TO THIS ONE. SIMPLY AMAZING!

Avid Leo Reader

Here we meet Anthony Stone, a new character brought to life by Silk White. Stone is a detective that is on the case to solve a recent string of bank robberies. This team is as deadly as they come since innocent people are cruelly murdered in cold blood. Even with all the turmoil in the city, Stone meets an intriguing woman by the name of Dana. It's fireworks from that point on until Stone discovers who she really is. Will Stone have the heart to bring her down or will love win in the end??? Well read and find out. To me the book was just ok. It lacked the edge and grit that Mr. White is known for.

Wow

This book kinda started off slow, but when it sped up.........it sped up!!!! Ghost, Dana, Randy & Dougie were ruthless bank robbers that had robbed and killed for a living. Ghost, the mastermind, was deciding to call it quits because he felt they've earned enough money to live comfortably so he decided after robbing an armored truck him and his baby sister Dana would move to Hawaii and live the good life. Dana meets and falls in love with Stone but didn't know he's the detective that's been trying to take down the infamous bank robbers. This book had me on the edge of my seat and definitely ended with a BANG!

Action action action

Wow Ghost and the team were putting that work in. I can't believe Randy. Sad just plain sad. The relationship between Stone and Dana was just not believable. Who falls in love overnight. Then they basically both spare each other only to not be together at all and everyone else is dead. Did not like the ending at all.
