This is an awesome book about the ocean because it covers everything from the creatures who live there to man-made machines that can dive into there to how the sea floor is laid out. On each page there are diagrams, drawings, and actual pictures taken in real life as well. There are a bunch of small factoids too that you can read if you want to. I was learning AND having fun as I read this book.

This children’s book demonstrates beautiful photography of the ocean’s floors and waters. Students will learn about different animal kingdoms and the diversity of the ocean. After students are read the book, an activity would take place in a center with four to six students. Students would go through the book and identify corresponding animals and kingdoms.
