Just a quick review. This book is a great tool. Each chapter contains pretty valuable insight for, as the title states, those "about to start or about to give up." But really it is for anyone in the vocational ministry. Each week we have those moments of elation and struggle. Collins offers wisdom for those days. Especially insightful are his words on leadership and the importance of the call. I don't think you will read this and think it is full of brand new insight but you will appreciate the way Collins has presented things we know and things we need reminding of from time to time. Well worth the short time to read and the small expense.
