He told me to be professional. He never told me not to beg.
I thought I was signing up for an agricultural internship. I didn’t realize I was surrendering my sanity to a seven-foot-tall, muscle-bound, ruthlessly controlled minotaur who fills my every waking thought—and ruins my nights with fantasies that leave me aching.
Sterling Johnson runs the most discreet, high-end minotaur collection facility in the country. He's professional. Impeccable. Off-limits. And after one reckless glimpse of what he does behind closed doors, I can’t stop imagining what it would feel like to take his knot. To be locked against him, filled so deep I forget my own damn name.
I know it’s wrong. I know if he catches me watching, it could destroy everything. But the more I see, the more reckless I become... until the night I push too far—and Sterling shows me exactly what happens to desperate little interns who don't know when to look away.
Knot My Boss is a filthy, high-heat monster romance knotting, size difference, forced proximity, a human intern with no self-preservation instincts, and a minotaur boss who’s been holding back his hunger... until now.
If Milking Farm went MM and got extra spicy… yeah, that’s this book. Ate it up. The angst, the passion, the growth — everything hit. Monster romance vibes all the way, and I loved every second.
im not into this heavy insta-lust. and it seems like the human hero is just horny for ALL minotaurs, and that's the reason he's lusting for the other hero.

Hank is a creep and not in a sexy way. 25% of the 27% so far has been him having the same inappropriate thoughts about his boss and creeping on his boss, who has shown ZERO interest at this point. Being obsessed is only hot if the other person seems into it.
But also, risking your job and livelihood just to watch your boss get himself off without his knowledge?! Yeahh, not cool. Not cool at all. It gets even worse when he realizes you were watching him and explicitly tells you to keep things professional and your immediate thought is "if given the chance, I'd do it again." That's such gross behavior and so messed up.
4.5 stars This book was recommended in a group I’m in and I just had to get it. That size difference alone was making me giddy to read it! I was not disappointed. Oh the yearning and longing in this book is intense. Hank from the first moment he starts work at the facility has such a visceral reaction to Sterling. He risks so much to be with him. And Sterling wants him back just as much. But aiming to be professional he hides it a lot better than Hank does. Then when they give in, the heat is even more intense. Such spiciness! Now onto more things I liked. Pros: I liked the heat and spice. I also liked the fairly realistic idea that Hank just couldn’t take Sterling right away. He was huge. So there was a lot of slow prepping and stretching to prepare him. No magic involved. You don’t see that often so I really liked it. Con: just one major one. I feel the ending threat was glossed over too quickly and I’m still not 100% sure on how they fixed it. There is the threat, they make plans to talk about how to fix it, then it’s a time jump and everything is fixed. But it didn’t take away too much pleasure and the ending was a great ending. Just the threat was very anticlimactic for me.
I really tried finishing this book. I almost did but DNFd around 88%. I have a sneaking suspicion this is AI generated slop. First, the cover shows Sterling having black fur, but the book describes him as having dark brown fur. Then, if you look closely, Sterling's right eye doesn't appear to even have a pupil. Don't even get me started on the repetitive descriptions used again and again and again and again..... WE GET WHAT HE SMELLS LIKE ALREADY. The ending really fell apart; there were clear typesetting errors and a last-minute, hastily-written antagonist with no real payoff. Seriously? Someone threatens to shut down your whole business and destroy your life because you're screwing the intern and the brightest solution you have is to give him a promotion???? And it WORKS???? Antagonist never mentioned again and no issues raised after. Just a magical promotion that somehow clears everything up. Ridiculous. Plus, this book is about knotting (supposedly) and around the 80% mark, when we FINALLY think we're going to see Sterling knot Hank, it doesn't happen. Just pure lazy writing stuffed with spice to appear interesting and deep. This clearly needed some heavy editing and attention to detail. Filling something with spice doesn't make it good or interesting.
okay so this story had more depth than I originally hoped for with that title. Was it smutty? uh, yeah. and you know what, I had low expectations on the plot anyway so I wasn't like disappointed or anything. But I really really didn't like Hank. Or well, I didn't like how Hank was so comfortable putting everything Sterling work in danger just to satisfy his wants. Yeah, he would say he felt guilty, but then HE would decide that their feelings was worth losing everything, when he was always the one losing less. Like, why couldn't he just decide to quit the internship once they decided to have a relationship together? It would hurt his career, yeah but then Sterling wouldn't risk losing his entire company. And anyways, the resolution to their conflict was too easy, and too wrapped up in a bow. If you were going to resolve it that quickly, why bring it up at all? just focus on the smut, which again was very good,

The gay version of Morning Glory Milking Farm with a little more smut; yes please.
Our main character Hank starts out the book with a curiosity/sexual interest in minotaurs and any minotaur would probably have done the trick; though he quickly develops an obsession at first sight for his new boss Sterling. Hank does exhibit some not so cool behaviors, like sneaking more than a peek at Sterling during his private sessions; not cool. Sterling does reprimand him for violating his privacy, especially after Hank had been told more than once that privacy and confidentiality were the most important things in their business. Hank apologizes but overall it was a small bump in the road. The solution to the blackmail, as others have mentioned, really doesn't make a whole lot of sense but whatever; I wasn't reading this book for the bare minimum plot anyway. There's a decent sneak peak at the end of this book for the next one and I'm excited to read it.
There was a lot of really great tension in this story. The steamy scenes were pretty well done. But I couldn't give more stars because of the editing and lazy plot. This desperately needed another round of editing. Sometimes the characters magically have three hands. Sometimes they are sitting on a couch and in the very next sentence they are on chairs. In one sentence they are in a car and the next sentence in a building in the middle of doing something. There are so many examples of these slipups; it really started to bother me. And the plot just turned really lazy. The author attempts to create outside conflict to challenge the MC's relationship, but instead of dealing with it, the characters basically just ignore it, and we never see any kind of resolution. It's just there, and a huge deal, and then poof, gone.
Hank applies for an internship at Sterling’s company. The company is a Minotaur milking facility. Hank is instantly enamored with Sterling. One night Hank stays late in order to spy on Sterling while he uses one of the milking rooms. Then he starts fantasizing about Sterling. He is constantly hard at work. And Sterling knows.
One evening, Hank decides to offer himself up. He strips and gets into position on the milking station waiting for Sterling to come do his nightly business. The his starts an agreement between the two. They will work up to Hank taking Sterling’s knot.
Spicy short read. Very similar to Morning Glory Milking Farm, except MM.
Hank is an intern at Sterling's minotaur collections facility. From his first moment meeting Sterling it was lust at first start. Their relationship starts as a secret to protect them both but grows into something both are willing to fight for. The first part of the book is a little stressful because Hank is basically stalking Sterling and peeping on him. There is a lot of repetitiveness in phrasing which is why I gave this book 3.5 stars. The repetitive parts could have been removed to add closure to some of the plot points such as the blackmail. Despite that this was a fun read, pure smut, with little to no character growth. Spice level: 5
I'm so shocked by the lower rating on this one because it was quick, hot, and fun! both hank and sterling were well flushed out. while I do wish they had more of a relationship before that tense break, the development following it was so good.
soooooo friggin hot. 🥵🥵
I could honestly read so much more in this world. the size difference is chef's kiss. the lore is unique. not detailed, but perfect for a light read.
seriously underrated. its not award winning prose but it's definitely a fun read!
Not only is the cover of the book clearly AI generated, but I DMed the author’s professional page on Facebook asking them if they used AI in the process for writing the book as well as the cover. I was blocked. I wasn’t even rude, I only asked a question. There also seem to be no comments about it being AI on their page so I am assuming they block and delete those as well.
Either way, the contents were clearly AI generated. The cadence and repetitiveness give it away. If she did write any of this, it is maybe 30%. Don’t waste your money. It’s not that good.
Definitely gave Milking Farm vibes, but not as intriguing.
Hank is pretty dang selfish and kinda creepy.
I hated how quickly Sterling was fine tossing their relationship aside to save his business. No 'burn the world down for you' vibes here, that's for sure! Also the whole idea of having the business shut down because the boss is doing the intern was weak.
Quite a few editing issues as well as things not making sense.
There’s hardly even an actual story outside of the smut 😅 and the writing is very repetitive, so much so that I started to wonder if half of the book was written with the help of AI. Or maybe just wasn’t proofread enough. His “musk” was described in the same phrasing at least 3 times in one chapter. lol. DNF 🤷♀️
It was a cute, porny story. The fact that there was a plot here was a little surprising but not unwelcome. The only thing I really wished for more of is that with a story where the main characters work in an industry focused on milking and collecting semen that there was surprisingly very little of the actual kink on display here.
The yearning and foreplay is so good! The chemistry between Hank and Sterling is amazing and the sweetness between them is so heartwarming. Loved it and wish it were in print so I could keep it in my library!
Waffling between one and two stars because gosh did this really not have a plot beyond the sex. And like. Even the sex wasn't really a plot. This is narratively flimsy, and while fun, really pales against other books like "Morning Glory Milking Farm" that do have actual development.
I was looking for a little plot and a ton of spice in between a couple of heavier books and this hit the spot! The chemistry and angst are spot on. Loved it!
Read this for our first book club! The main character was a complete nervous wreck and needed a horse tranquilizer! I would have given this book 2 stars, but the spice bumped it up by one! 🤣
I had expected erotica and I got erotica but, surprisingly, it had consent, logic and charismatic enough characters. I wish it was a little shorter though.
