I recently bought a serger and thought this book would have helpful information. It is very thorough and has detailed information about how they work, different types,pricing, uses, repairing, etc.

Super helpful!

This book is really helpful and helped me wrap my mind around what my serger was doing and how I could keep it operating well. I love the no-nonsense-matter-of-fact information style. They did a great job of providing the information you really need: how fancy a machine do you need? how expensive a machine? do you need something with a lot of stitches. I highly recommend reading this book before purchasing a new machine.

Fabulous for those who really want to understand!

Great book…really detailed explanation of how the serger actually works, as well as the various elements to be considered when making a purchase…he covers both industrial and home machines. What a great find! (Not a novice here…I’ve been using a serger for 20 plus years and I learned a few things!)
