“She offered kindness. He turned it into obsession.”

Dr. Leona Rae never imagined a single act of compassion could change everything.

At thirty four, the curvy psychology lecturer lives a life of structure and solitude. She’s used to being the calm one, the invisible one. But when she offers a few gentle words to a quiet student in the back row, she doesn’t know she’s just given him permission.

Because Darian Voss doesn’t just hold onto kindness.
He clings to it. Twists it. Worships it.

From that moment, he begins stalking her—tracking her movements, studying her patterns, and maneuvering their encounters like pieces in a puzzle only he can see.

His orchestrated moments turn into a clandestine affair—one Dr. Rae never meant to start, and now can’t seem to stop.

She calls it a lapse in judgment.
He calls it destiny.

But when she tries to walk away, Darian doesn't follow.
He hunts.

Because once Darian Voss is fixated…
escape is impossible.

The idea of the book excited me and I had high hopes. But when I started reading... I was confused. Did I get some fake copy of the book? Was I scammed? Because... I can't prove this book was AI-generated, so I'm not claiming that as a fact. But it read to me either like AI-assisted writing that wasn't properly checked or like a manuscript that received virtually no continuity edit. Entire scenes appear to reset between chapters. In Chapters 14–15, the characters leave the library, cross the quad, enter a maintenance shed and kiss — then the next chapter starts with them leaving the library again and crossing the quad again but end up in different location. In another scene, the heroine is explicitly left standing in only her bra and underwear, yet in the following chapter her sweater has somehow reappeared and is removed again. Later, the same encounter is retold from opposite POVs with the hero shirtless in one version but wearing a shirt in the other, and with the sex happening against a wall in one version and on the bed in the other. Whatever the reason, the continuity is so poor that several times I genuinely thought I had accidentally gone backwards. I tried to reread oages, and understand what is going on but it really felt inconsistent. And almost every sentence start like a new paragraph which is very common for AI but not how people usually write. Text was very split. I am sorry if I am wrong and I just got scammed when I bought the book. But I was very lost.

I thought it would end terribly. It ended how it should’ve and you won’t be disappointed. Who knew a stalker romance could make your eye lashes flutter?
