THE EPIC CONCLUSION OF THE AWARD-WINNING CHAOS SERIES
THIRTY-SIX HOURS BEFORE the planet was plunged into total darkness, with the world's leaders gathered in New Babylon, rebel armies numbering in the tens of millions were preparing to launch a desperate final strike.
Their objective was Assassinate the two men they refused to recognize as the "Supreme See" and the "Holy See." Dozens of nuclear-tipped missiles were already aimed at the global city of commerce. Their leaders knew that Antichrist's military forces stationed in New Babylon vastly outnumbered them, but they believed that if even a single missile could be launched, the resulting electromagnetic pulse (EMP) would cripple the city's power grid and clear the way for a ground invasion.
More than one hundred thousand heavily armed soldiers stood ready to storm the city immediately after impact, engaging the massive military force that would undoubtedly rise to defend it.
The plan was bold.
The plan was calculated.
Before a single warhead could be launched, the entire operation was abruptly and horrifically interrupted when the planet was plunged into total darkness.
As Scripture had The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings from the East. Then I saw three impure spirits that looked like frogs; they came out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet. They are demonic spirits that perform signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for the battle on the great day of God Almighty... "Look, I come like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake and remains clothed, so as not to go naked and be shamefully exposed." Then they gathered the kings together to the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon. (Revelation 16:12–16)
While I understand that this series is fiction, it is obvious that the author is well versed in the Bible. The way he covered the often confusing book of Revelations and wove it beautifully into the story was just amazing. I have read Revelations and was totally surprised at how this author clarified many points that had been confusing. When investigating his viewpoint, he was spot on. When reading it again, and I will, Revelations will not be as daunting a challenge. I also realize that many people will have their own interpretations but this author's helped me clarify many points.
This whole 10 book series has to be one of the best fiction series I have read on end times. I do want to add that this is a fiction series but it is based on the Bible with Bible references all through every book.
If you really read it and pull out a Bible and even a study Bible is better, and get into reading and studying your Bible, this series of books may just change your life. Every single one of us are sinners. Read that again, we are all sinners and we all need Jesus Christ as our Savior for our eternity.
While we are alive on this earth is when we have to make the choice of Jesus Christ as our Savior. After we have died, our fate is already sealed, done deal and no amount of praying by those you leave can save you after you die if you have not chosen Jesus.
So I would encourage you to start with book 1 of this series and read it. I would encourage you even more to get a Bible and read it. Find a good Bible teaching pastor and listen to the sermons, learn and grow in your faith in Jesus Christ. Get into a group with fellow Christ Followers and converse with them often. Pray for them and with them. More than anything though, if you don't know and have a relationship with Jesus yet, now is the time. Don't wait, we never know when our time is going to be up here on earth. God bless you all.
I really enjoyed the final book of the Chaos in the Blink of an Eye Series. The characters are very realistic and their actions are believable. Mr. Higgins writes in a way that makes me feel like I'm right there watching what I'm reading. Bible references are used throughout each one of the ten books in this series. I've read many end times series and this one is right up there with the best ones. I have read many of Patrick's books and I'm looking forward to his next best seller. If you are looking for another great book by Mr. Higgins...read "I Never Knew You!"
I have truly enjoyed and learned so much from this series. I have read the Bible completely through many times throughout my life. But as I read this series and checked the scriptures while reading, so many things became clearer! Things I read many times made sense! So Thank you for a great, exciting, and some time overwhelming dive into the Bible through your series!
The absolute best book I’ve ever read about the Bible and Jesus Christ! I wasn’t raised with much religion in my life, just what little I heard or read here and there over my many years. But this series of books really made me rethink my belief in God and Jesus Christ, especially the final book in the series. I do believe I need to change my ways and beliefs to the better. Hallelujah!
Good story, likeable characters. Poor editing/proofreading that was somewhat annoying. There were also a few continuity problems that should have been fixed. If it wasn't for those few issues that pulled me from the story, that made me have to figure out what was meant, I won't have given five stars.
This series is amazing! I am so thankful to have found an author who takes the world of God seriously and who doesn't swear or use crude language. The series is face paced and you can't wait to find out what happens next. It is encouraging as we await the soon Rapture of the Church!
A thoughtful and inspiring Christian book that offers meaningful insights into faith, hope, and spiritual growth. The message is uplifting and grounded in strong biblical principles, making it both encouraging and easy to reflect on. A rewarding read for anyone seeking to deepen their relationship with God and find guidance in their daily walk.
Last couple books it went from being a great book series to blah. This time there are so many characters that you didn’t get to spend any time with the ones you loved and the book series was originally about.
I can't wait for the conclusion. The author does marvellous job in illustrating the events of Biblical prophecy. The human touch is thought-provoking as well. I can't wait for more.
