It was time for a dark romance after a whiile.

I chose this short book as my last read of the year (maybe not so last).

It was good! I actually want to know what happens next. I expected it to be darker though, maybe in the next book.

Prey was an "eye opening, panty dropping, screaming 'holy issshhhh what rabbit hole did I just stumble into'" book!! It was such a great book to start off the series!! Talk about spicy! Looking forward to Striker! But I really wanna know Reaper's story!

Short spicy and PLOT!

This is my first Fanny Lee Savage book and I was not disappointed! - She is now an instant buy author for me! 🤌🏼
I cannot believe I sat on this book - This series for SO long!!! I’m so glad I finally read this! It’s so underrated- I went into this book blind thinking it was just a quick spicy novella … How wrong was I!! This book is more than just spice - Okay yeah the spice is SPICING and it’s a very good time but the plot that follows blew my mind!! - The writer grips you in from the off I was hooked straight away by the mystery of the characters even more so after i’d finished it!! - TOP TIP …. make sure you have the next one immediately! - It ends on the biggest cliff hanger so your guna wanna dive straight into Striker!!
I would 100% recommend this book to absolutely everyone and have done 😂 … You might want to check your trigger warnings as book 2 does get quite dark but once you’ve read this one you’ll NEED to read book 2!

This is a really quick read. I listened to the audiobook within 2 hours, so if you want to reach your reading goal before the new year, this is a good option.

If this had been a duet or full-cast narration, it would’ve been perfect. The narrators and performances are really strong, and this novella does a great job setting the tone for the rest of the series.

I enjoyed it and it definitely made me curious to pick up the next book. Solid 3⭐️

Surprise Dark Romance

I found this when I was looking for another book called Prey.

Cora and Delilah get more than they bargained for when they go to out to a club on Halloween.

They get 4x the fun to be exact. What's more fun than mysterious masked men? I don't know but it doesn't matter because Reaper, Striker, Viper, and Breaker will make you forget who you are, let alone allow your brain to ask silly questions. What ensues is an 6-some. Does that exist or is it just called an orgy?

I won't try to explain the sexy times, you know where you can find out more about that.

This ends on a cliffhanger and I haven't checked yet to see if the rest of the series is out. Happy smutting my friends!

Damn........ I was just here for the group sex but instead, I was plunged into a mafia warzone.

I saw this book on TikTok.I read it because it looks so spicy, but in the end, there was a very strong plot that got my attention. I need to know more about the father, the bodyguard, the masked men, both of the girls, and their parents too.

I need more.

While scrolling El Tiktok this book came across my fyp. I took a chance on it and I'm glad I did. I really enjoyed the storyline, the characters and even the cliffhanger. Five chapters of sex and I could have read five chapters more.

And I do believe this is my second 5 star read of 2024.

This was SO spicy. Approximately 100 pages of smutty goodness. The narrators for this audio did an amazing job (Laura Horowitz and Corvin King can do no wrong) and this novella (kind of a prequel) left me super excited for the rest of the series and ready to jump into book 2!

This was everything i needed in a Halloween book and more. 10/10, reverse harem MMFFMM… there was A LOT to keep up with, there being that many main characters, but it was an amazing short & spicy read… emphasis on the spice😂 it does leave off on a HEAVY cliffhanger just FYI!!

Stuff your Kindle day had me downloading all sorts of stuff and I'm just beginning to go through them. This was the first and I'm quite pleased with myself. I had doubts at the beginning of this book, because the 🌶️ had some writing issues, but other than that it was actually good. The story was surprisingly intriguing and I'm tempted to get the second book too, but for now I have a loooong list to go through 😅

I've officially entered my dark romance smut era, and this was one of the books I picked up during Dark Mode's "Stuff Your Kindle Day."

We listen and we don't judge —4 masked men, 2 girls... you get the picture. Right from the start, it was heavy on the smut and spice, which caught me off guard since I usually prefer some story and background before diving into the heat. This one flipped the script: smut first, plot second.

That said, the writing was surprisingly decent, and by the end, I found myself enjoying the twist. It does end on a cliffhanger, and honestly, I’m curious to see what happens next.

I have read the three books and I can say this was the one I enjoyed the most.

The plot is easy to follow, and the main reason I started this was because of the MMMMFF situation and it did not fail me. There are several chapters of JUST sex (which was what click-baited me into this book), NOT vanilla so if you aren't into that you shouldn't read any of the books.

Did I know it was a dark romance? Yes
Did I know how dark it would be? No
Did I continue reading after realizing it? Yes

okay, so… this book was a rollercoaster. i was bored, then i liked it, and then i HATED IT. the beginning of the book was dragged on for SOOO long.

when the spice actually started, i did in fact, eat it up. the spice wasn’t that bad, i enjoyed it. but again, it felt like the same thing happened over and over during the spicy scenes.

the men have no personality, there is not much MM in this book, only a quick scene but it doesn’t last long. there was FF but i needed a bit more from them honestly.

the last few chapters of this book were insane and so fucking twisted i did not like anything that happened after their spicy night.

this entire book was a disappointment.

What the living f was that?! So much spice, so little time. So much intrigue. So much OMG.
Wow I can tell this is only the tip of the iceberg for what I can only hope is a mindblowing incredible three book series to come.
I have read over 600 titles of romance and smut over the last few years, so when i say i have never even come close to anything quite like this, I really freaking mean it!

MMMFFM.

I’ve not read this author before but this series popped up in my search for new reads and I enjoyed it more than I expected.

It’s definitely a short spicy read, not so heavy on the plot. But with the ending of this one i think the plot is likely to reveal itself in the next book

I'm unsure how I feel about this book. Had book 2 and 3 been a similar length I may have continued the series. But they're over 500 pages each and I'm not that invested. All four men have a similar description, height, mask, and names ending in "er" it kind of gets confusing.

Mehhhhh, not much plot. Only 144 pages so can’t expect much but still. There’s a few more books after this but they won’t be getting read.

Fine for a bit of spice and something different but it’s a bit of a mafia book and that’s not meeee.
