From New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author Eden Bradley
The island always knows what you need…
Miranda lives in paradise— the exclusive Eden resort, the ultimate in fantasy retreats.
Roan, the resort’s dungeon consultant, lives part-time on the island and full-time in the past.
When the sexy Dominant and the sultry pastry chef both receive one of the island’s mysterious invitations they spend a sizzling week together in the dungeon suite. They’re left breathless, wanting more… and hopelessly falling.
Both have been scarred by loss, both have created a nearly impenetrable shell. The intensity and intimacy of kink might be the perfect recipe to open Miranda’s heart again. But can the man who fulfills her every secret desire ever give her what she needs the most?

This novella is one in a series written by some of the best known authors of the genre. The invitation to Eden is just for a week, so the stories are speedy and intense. Do look out for the others.
This story brings us two souls badly damaged by being widowed at a young age. One has sought release through his Domly ways, the other suppressed her submission and sexuality. The invitation to Eden is slightly unexpected by them both, as they both work there already. As they come together all manner of issues are revealed and they are both tested to their limits. I love the references to the island magic, and their acceptance that if they agree it is not true, then the situation is for real ... the ultimate in Catch 22 scenarios. Hot, moving and fun - great story, thank you Ms Bradley

Both Miranda and Roan are widowed, they both work for the Eden Resort, they both get a invitation to Eden that brings them together. Miranda has not played since her husbands death, however she can not resist Roans dominant presence.
This book took me a wee while to get into, I felt for a novella it took far too long to get in to the actual story. I enjoyed the book from around 50% I liked how the story finished and for me the sex scenes saved the book.

Miranda Royce hasn't played since she lost her husband. She hasn't had the desire or the need until she gets an invitation to Eden. She didn't realize she missed that life until it was presented to her again. When she walks into Club Sin she doesn't know what to expect but it surely isn't Roan Abrams.
Roan Abrams is a Dominant. There is no doubt about that, the way he carries himself, the way he speaks, his movements all point to the fact that he is a Dom but he has a past, a past he is trying to not think about. Miranda feels a draw to him immediately. She doesn't know if she is ready for the emotion Roan seems to pull from her. Is Miranda ready to face her fears? Is Roan? Can they work together?
I enjoyed this read. It was sexy and emotional. It's a quick read but you can easy fall into the story. This is my first read by this author but I will definitely keep an eye out for other titles.
I believe I found my new favorite book by Eden This story had me from the beginning and I could not put it down. Can 2 hearts that have been torn apart by loss be able to find love again and find the true trust as found in a D/s relationship. Roan lost his wife many years ago but he keeps himself guarded and has never taken another sub on a permanent basis since but he is still hiding something. Miranda lost her Dom and Husband 5 years ago and she is working on the Eden when she receives her invite. Does the island know what is best for the 2 of them if they can just learn to trust their hearts. The passion is intense between the 2 of them as the explore each other in the D/s relationship. I cried, I laughed, I fanned myself more times then I can count a true must read.
Thanks for a free book to read and review for Wicked Reads. What a lovely cover! While I like the theme of these books, this one was a little hard to get into. Both characters have lost a partner to death which kind of dulls things for me. I'm all about getting into a book but they both had a thing about failure to commit. The island brings these two together, and they learn how to get back into play together. Overall entertainment is three stars.
This was a short quick read that takes you to some pretty awesome highs and also some really low twists and turns I didn't see coming.
Miranda and Roan meet on Paradise Island, after being invited by their enigmatic boss, the mysterious owner of the exclusive BDSM island, to share one week together as Dom and Submissive.
Both MCs have lost their first loves already, Miranda's risk taking husband died in a race car accident four years ago and Roan lost his wife to cancer over 10 years ago. Neither has been in a relationship since then and for Miranda, her instant and powerful attraction to Roan has her rejecting the week long invitation after only meeting Roan for a few minutes.
Roan also is surprised by the instant pull he feels for Miranda and goes after her, finally convincing her to give in and let go for just one week.
Of course they have explosive chemistry and their kinks line up together perfectly. They share an amazing connection not only in the kink dynamic of Dom and submissive but also outside the bedroom.
This part of the story was done really well. It explores Miranda's initial fear of being so attracted to Roan and also hints at the extreme steps Roan takes to keep himself distant from anyone and everyone and also the secret he keeps close to his heart. I loved that the author gives you both sensual and meaningful scenes that strengthen the bond she's created for the two MCs. This was great and I was really invested in the story.
Then Roan shows himself for a pigheaded stubborn jerk that doesn't learn from his mistakes by freaking out and completely shutting Miranda out during a highly emotional scene. When Miranda calls him on it, you can feel both her pain, her shock and finally her anger at him for playing her so heartlessly. And I loved that she stuck up for herself. I loved that she didn't let him play dumb and told him what he needed to hear. This was definitely a powerful moment for the heroine, loving the hero but still able to love herself enough to demand respect and the same love in return.
I wish the same could be said of Roan. For the type of behavior he exhibited towards Miranda, his apology and later his hijacking of her plane just didn't due enough to redeem him. Miranda deserved some real groveling and honestly, the fact that Trust is such a huge theme throughout their story and especially their BDSM lifestyle, I couldn't believe she would so easily forgive him.
Its a romance so we know it going to happen eventually but I just feel like they both needed some more time to process what happened in order to move forward with a healthy mindset. It was just hard to believe that everything was easily resolved because too me, the problem was huge and the apology didn't have any action to back up Roan's claim that his 10+ year routine to shut people out was going to so easily be stopped because he realized he can love someone else and take the risk of losing that person. I feel like the idea and determination is there but the probability of success is underwhelming.
Overall a good ready but maybe more for those that enjoy the widow/widower 2nd chance at love trope of those looking for a great BDSM read with romance coming in second.

She could not understand why she had been invited to the Sin. She then meets Roan. He is so hot looking. And she has not played since her husband passed away, 5 years ago. So much happens between these two. Great story.I
Enjoyed this immensely! So full of desire, connection and love. All built by an intense connection through a matter of days in a magical paradise filled by their desires and their heartwarming connection. Loved never hurt so good.
The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with! Miranda and Roan are brought together by a Vardalos, master of the Island, and Vardalos was never wrong, and he wasn’t wrong now. Both were widowers still grieving and afraid to step back out into the world as singles. Miranda is invited to the resort's club and meets Roan who is a Dom. They decide to spend a glorious week together, but both are fighting with ghosts from their previous marriages as well as accepting finality of their marriages being over. The chemistry from the moment they met is insanely intense and the magnetic pull can’t be ignored and spending a week together forces them to work through everything but when they come out on the other end will it be enough, will they find healing, will they overcome the road blocks in their way, is this their second chance at love, and can will they grab ahold of the second chance fate has given them?
4 1/2 Steamy Stars.......Although Roan and Miranda are wildly attracted to each other, Miranda doesn't think she can fully trust Roan. So when they are paired together for a week of BDSM play, they are both willing to take a chance. When they scene together, they are both surprised by their intense feelings towards each other. They both have had huge losses, but can they find a HEA with each other? I loved the pace of the story, the steam, the characters were well written, and the so much more. A totally satisfying read and all three books in the San Fransisco Doms series are available to read foe FREE with your KU Subscription. Maybe a good weekend for a BDSM binge read.

This is book 3 in the San Fransisco Doms series and is Miranda and Roan story. It's well written with great characters and a passionate heartfelt story between two widowers who are still grieving and needing to move forward, hopefully with each other.

This was such a great book. I so loved this story between Roan and Miranda! They both experienced great pain by being a widower but they were able to overcome that loss. I’m so looking forward to reading more from this author as it was an awesome book in my opinion.

I SO loved this book! Miranda and Roan are both employed by the Eden resort – Miranda as a full-time pastry chef who lives on the island and Roan as a consultant who visits the island every few months to make changes to the dungeon and its equipment as needed. They both like sex with a power exchange, clear D/s roles, and, as their story reveals, a bit of edge. They also belong to that exclusive club no one really wants to be a member of – the widow and widowers club. With so many things in common, it’s no surprise that the Island puts them together for the week.
While Pleasure Point is full of steamy scenes of submission, it is ultimately a second chance love story. Both Miranda and Roan loved their spouses deeply, and five and ten years later (respectively) they are still feeling the loss of their love. They agree to the week together in an effort to help one another take the next step in the healing process. I found their emotional responses during the week to be authentic to their characters’ pasts as they dealt with fear, anxiety, a resurgence of grief, pain, anger, attraction, desire, trust, and, eventually, love. Yes, they fell in love in less than a week, but it wasn’t instant, they fought it, and it came with the earning of one another’s trust. The relationship development felt real because they were able to overlook one another’s emotional upsets due to their shared widow/widower status.
Despite being set on a fantasy island, I found Pleasure Point to be a believable tale of a couple’s second chance at happiness. I like my contemporary romances to have a happy ending after a believable storyline and Ms. Bradley did an excellent job in delivering it. The journey she takes Miranda and Roan on is an emotional one and I enjoyed getting to tag along for the ride – even if I did have to break out the tissues at one point. I look forward to reading more of Ms. Bradley’s work and was excited to learn that I actually have book two in her San Francisco Doms series in a box set I purchased – now I just have to fit it in to my reading schedule.
Sinfully mouth-watering romance! An attention-grabbing start to a steamy romance where Roan and Miranda are invited by the island’s owner to spend a week sampling all there is to explore. At the start, despite the electricity sparking off the two, Miranda is doubtful if she can take that step to trust Roan. Yet Roan steers her towards an unbelievable experience that surprises each of them. But with the end of the week looming, how can the two have a future? You have to read to find out and won’t put the book down until you turn the last page!
Instant attraction is intimidating and scary, I've been there! What I wouldn't give to have the Paradise Island experience with a hot, sexy Dominant 😍 I haven't read the rest of the series but I want to now.
I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
Being a child of the 70’s, I loved the show Fantasy Island and the idea of having one week to live out your wildest fantasy. The series, Invitation to Eden, is a literary Fantasy Island. The island of Eden is paradise with just a bit of pure magic mixed in. The island always knows what you need and with the help of Master, your every wish will be granted; even the ones you didn’t know you had. Eden comes to life through the efforts of multiple talented romance authors who each write one novella in the series.
Eden Bradley’s contribution is the highly emotional Pleasure Point. The story is about second chances and healing from loss. Both Miranda and Roan have suffered greatly from the loss of a loved one. Through the magic of the island and Master, they are paired for a week of sizzling hot sex. They seem a perfect match, but it is so difficult for each of them to overcome the pain they have suffered.
Ms. Bradley did an amazing job of creating an emotional story that really tugged at my heart. The pain that both characters felt was so authentic and believable that I found myself just wanting to hug them both. When they made both a physical and emotional connection, I cheered for them. When they allowed their past to influence their decisions, I wanted to scream at them. I always appreciate when an author can draw me into the characters and the story so fully that I am emotionally vested in their happiness.
In addition to being highly emotional, Pleasure Point was erotic and sexually steamy. Miranda and Roan had amazing chemistry and it came across the page. There was a lot of steamy submission that raised my temperature.
I really appreciate that Ms. Bradley went way beyond the BDSM to provide so much heart and soul in Pleasure Point. It elevated the book to another level. This is my first book by Ms. Bradley but with this book as my first impression, it will not be the last. I am also now very curious about the Invitation to Eden series. Luckily for me there are a lot to choose from.
Eden and Roan have both suffered the loss of their spouse and are having trouble moving past the survivor's guilt. When they are paired together by the owner of Paradise Island, they agree to one week of fun without commitment. However, they find themselves beginning to care and both pull back for different reasons. The background of the two and the losses they faced were very real and emotional. What I didn't like was Roan acknowledging their lifestyle called for trust and communication, but he was the one unwilling to share. His attraction to Eden constantly focused on her looks and his continuously calling her "my beauty" got annoying.
This is the third book in this series San Fransisco Doms series. This is the story of Miranda and Roan an their journey of healing and finding their way to their happily ever after. Their connection was instant and overwhelming for both of them, the withdrew from one another and then realize they needed each other to move forward. Looking forward to read more.
This story is the love story of two wounded souls, with everyone of the wounded and broken bits of their past on display. I loved how human this story made them - painful pasts and insecurities make Miranda and Roan story so beautiful. What a cathartic and emotional story.
This book was a great ending to a great series!! It has a great steamy and heartfelt storyline!! The characters will bring the feels as Miranda and Roan spend a week connecting , playing, and working through issues they thought were in the past. Definitely recommend this book and series!! You won't be disappointed!!
It took me a bit to get into this one. It was a good read but I just didn't connect to much with it.
I found some of the BDSM stuff interesting. I didn't know some of the rules that they talked about in this. So it was neat to learn a bit more about it.
I liked both of the characters. At times they were frustrating but they fit together really well. They both had a lot of baggage and were widowed. The sex was very hot!
So I liked this one but didn't love it. If it was a longer story and not a short maybe it would be more believable for me. But overall still a decent read.
I like second chance love books and Pleasure Point doesn't disappoint. I liked both Miranda and Roan. Both are dealing with pain from losing their loves but they are ready to move on. Initially they are together because of their kink but they find quickly that they want to share more. I know that this is a series with novella length stories but I could have read more about this pair. There were storylines that just touched the surface. I have received a copy of this book from Novel Reviews for an honest review.
I love these Eden books. This one wasn't my favorite, but it wasn't awful. It was sexy and hot. But, the plot just wasn't something I was really into. I couldn't figure out if Killer was a bad guy or a good guy. The ending felt SO rushed that it didn't sit well with me. Maybe if it were a paranormal, their relationship could go that quick, but for me, being a regular story, I wasn't a fan. The sex is hot though!
This is a book about healing and passion. Miranda and Roan are brought together by a Vardalos, master of the Island, and Vardalos was never wrong and he wasn’t wrong now. Both were widowers still grieving and afraid to move forward. Their connection was immediate, intense and very, very hot. There were some bumps along the way, but they worked through them and by so doing moved beyond their grief to love for one another. A very sexy, feel good story. So
Miranda is invited to the resort's club and meets Roan who is a Dom. They decide to spend a glorious week together but both are fighting with ghosts form their pasts. This story has a lot of steam, some angst and quite a bit of romance. I am really enjoying this series so far, and find them quite entertaining.
I received a free advanced review copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my fair and honest opinion.
Quickie novella about a widow and widower who connect at an exclusive resort for kink. They are instantly attracted and that throws them for a loop. Not trusting their feelings, they finally can't deny them. However, can there be a real life for them outside the fantasy of the resort? Well written and emotional. A nice afternoon diversion!
Roan is Hot!! Miranda is sweet and sexy! They both have tragedies that they need to overcome. It both brings them together and pushes them apart. They can relate to the other's issues, but their fears hinder their relationship. I liked the book, but parts were sad. Considering what they were dealing with, it fit the story. Loved the HEA!
