Thornmark Book One of The Hollowborn Legacy By Emma Petitt
The Hollow was never meant to wake again. But the forest remembers.
When a hidden mark begins to burn beneath her skin, Wren's quiet life in the village of Thornmere shatters. Drawn beyond the familiar edges of the forest, she steps into a world where ancient magic breathes through the roots and the forgotten courts of the fey linger in the shadows. Bound to a reluctant protector and haunted by memories she cannot reclaim, Wren is forced into a series of deadly trials that were never meant for her.
The Hollow tests those who seek its power. And it remembers betrayal.
As Wren uncovers long-buried secrets of her bloodline, she realizes the trials are not a path to salvation, but a trap set long ago. The monsters she faces wear familiar faces, and the fates of both the living and the dead twist around her choice.
Some legacies are not inherited. They are earned, in blood, in sorrow, and defiance.
Perfect for fans of dark folklore, emotional bonds, ancient trials, and twisted fates, Thornmark begins the haunting duology of The Hollowborn Legacy.
I absolutely love thornmark im a newbie at fantasy and I feel like this book is like a comfort book for me.... I fell in love with the characters if your a beginner fantasy reader like me I feel this would be perfect for you and even if your an expert
this book gave off the happening with Mark Wahlberg in it and snow white creepy Forrest scene because the hollow is no and I MEAN NO JOKE it knows the truth and Wren has to know how to answer the questions the hollow has for her.
this is the only adult book I have read twice and seeing the different aspects and seeing what characters I loved this time around was so cool fornme
Thornmark by Emma Petitt 3 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Book One in “The Hollowborn Legacy” Duology
This book was published May 11th this year. I actually used to know the author of this book personally, so when I found out she published a book, I had to read it. This is her first published book.
I love how the ending was not what I was expecting, I love all the twists and turns.
It was a little bit hard to follow though and characters got added to the novel without being properly introduced. A few grammatical errors found throughout the book. Because of those points, it did lose a two stars.
For it being a first published book by this author, I’d say she definitely did a great job in her story telling. I think next time I would love more background information? It seemed like this book wasn’t the first in a series but instead the second or third. I would also like for maybe it to be slowed down? This one novel could easily be two novels if better explained.
