A Bloody Night in Raven PinesThe party was supposed to be legendary.
Instead, something fell from the sky.
And it’s hungry.
Spring break in a remote cabin outside Raven Pines turns deadly when three armed bank robbers crash the night. Panic spreads. Guns come out. Blood hits the floor.
Then the sky opens.
What lands in the woods isn’t human.
It doesn’t think. It doesn’t feel. It only feeds.
Trapped between desperate criminals and something far worse, a handful of survivors must fight their way through the dark — or become meat.
The cops are late. The forest is deep. And Raven Pines never forgets a drop of blood.
If you like relentless action, creature horror, pitch-black humor, and escalating chaos, welcome to Raven Pines.
I “bought” this book because it was free but I didn’t get my money’s worth. It was terrible from start to finish and the only reason I got to the finish was because it was mercifully not that long.
meh more like 2.5! I like the fast pace but the whole virgin trope/ character and typical oversexed character in horror movies couldn't have been left out. 🤷🏽♀️
Now I remember why I don’t party in the woods anymore, or rob banks. Almost from the get go Robert lets the blood flow, and I mean FLOW. Excitement, bullets, guns, monsters and bad guys (?) that are everywhere out in the woods, at night, no cell phones and no radios. These people are truly screwed! A must read!
This book was a great quick read that I really enjoyed! The gore and descriptions of the kills really stands out. It would have been a five star read for me if not for a few what I’d call editing errors. But all in all I can’t wait to read the next one and I would definitely recommend reading this one.
