I write stories about the apocalypse so that I don't need to work a real job. I grew up reading Stephen King and still haven't fully recovered. I'm currently ending the world in my new series Under the Breaking Sky.

As I reach the end of this series, the concept behind this zombie apocalypse falls into place in an unexpected way. Great edition to this series and on to the next.
I hate waiting you know… but I just had to read this and then wait some more for the next one. All of Nick Clausen’s books are amazing and unique. You will not regret reading any of them. This cover seriously freaks me out. Thankyou💜
This is becoming intriguing in how different this is compared to other zombie books. Even different than Nick Clausen's other series Dead Meat. I can't believe I'm almost done, it has gone by so fast. This one is my favorite of the series so far. I am dreading it ending.
I’ve been mostly patiently waiting for book 6 and now I’m excitedly waiting for book 7.
I really enjoy the exciting and fast paced read of this series. I really enjoy the alternating POVs and the twists and turns. I would definitely recommend all of the Cadaver books including it’s prequel Draug. It’s a fun alternative to the traditional zombie story.
My only complaint is that I blast through them so fast and then I’m bummed while waiting for the next one haha.
Well I'm sure none of us saw that coming at the end. I didn't. Book 6 was good but really short. I guess the author needed time to get his creative juices flowing so the ending will be epic. I can't say too much without spoiling it for others but I liked the pace of the story. It brought things to light here and I can't wait til Book 7 drops. My only thing is Kjells and Hangar? I need closure on them. I know Nick didn't forget. We'll see.
Action packed - revelations come to light. As I began listening to Cadaver 6 it was hard to believe I finished listening to Cadaver 5 six months ago or that I listened to Cadaver 1 over a year ago. Within the first couple of minutes, it was like I had just finished Cadaver 5 as all the story details and characters came rushing back and brought me right into this episode.
In some series there will be a book that seems to be there as filler to fill a void until the next episode comes along. In this case Cadaver 6 is the furthest thing from filler. The tension felt by the characters is palpable and the action is nearly nonstop. Book 6 sets the stage for possible reunions and a greater understanding of what caused the Zombie outbreak as various characters share their knowledge and suspicions.
Along with being a key part of the series, this episode does an excellent job of setting up what’s to come next. Cadaver 6 is a must read/listen for fans of the series. Since I listened to the book it would be a shame not to mention Spencer Dillehay. Spencer has narrated each book of the series and does an exceptional job of bringing each character to life. His pacing and vocal range create a listening experience that is top notch.
Audiobook: I was as mesmerized by book six as I was the earlier books in this series. I was so captivated by the story that I listened to the whole audiobook in one sitting. I felt that the darker themes that were introduced in this book added a more intense layer to the story. I found these themes thought-provoking and emotional. I thought Spencer Dillehay's narration was great, and his performance gave the characters their own voices and seem more real. I was gifted a copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without any financial gain, to leave a review which included my honest opinions about this story.
This book does what it says on the tin. It's a zombie book written by a great author. Every once in a while you'll get a petty little Norwegian side-swipe at American culture (I feel sorry for him, really) that sort of takes you out of the action and reveals a little too much of the author for my taste.
Still, these are genuinely good books with a genuinely interesting premise.
Clausen delivers. Good characters. Lots of death and gore. Dead darlings all over the place. Hey, it's a zombie book - what more can I say? I will keep coming back to this well until I'm an old man. I just LOVE the genre.
O sea qué? Demasiadas revelaciones y me encanta.
It’s kind of like the Scooby doo gang is coming together and there is more of an explanation more than “the chosen one” for why the girl is immune. That girl sacrificed a lot to save a 5 year old. With so many other people dying I was like “nooooo”. This is different from other zombie books so I’m interested in what happens next. And hopefully less perspectives.
