After months of calm and inactivity, Detective Krista Wilkins responds to a floater down under the bridge. A petite female caught on the jagged rocks below the surface of the muddy water of the Rappahannock river. The sight of this small victim pulled at Krista's heart. Her eyes staring out begging for help that came too late. This victim matches an open case from years before.
As if a chain reaction, a domino effect occurs with the disappearance of two more women. The stress of failure on Krista and her department will prove to be too much as they try to fit the pieces together and solve all of these cases.
