I’m over men. Officially. I gave Connor St. Clair EVERYTHING (you know what I mean) and he ended up “accidentally” in bed with a girl he picked up at the local bar. I never expected to see Delaney at Sapph of all places, but I know a woman on a mission when I see one. Over more than a few drinks, she tells me about her list, and I decide that the best way to make up for the way I treated her in the past is to help her complete it. Starting with a kiss.

Unstoppable You

I am so glad that the cheating boyfriend was not a huge topic in the story. James and Delaney needed to sort out their own history, and I enjoyed seeing them navigate their romance. I like a bully-redemption romance.

These stories go by quick, but they're enjoyable and make you want to jump right into the next one.

4.5⭐️ Well done! Sweet, bubbly Delaney gets her true happily ever after! The book starts with her finally away from her loser bf. She decides she wants to try new things that she never got to do. Enter James, the bf sister and childhood bully. James has grown into herself and just wants to apologize for her childhood behavior. Eventually, they are able to move past the past and discover how they can, or will, fit into each others lives. James’ little crush for the straight girl is totally fine…

Unstoppable You is another good addition to the Sapph in The City series. Delaney is fresh out of a bad relationship with a cheating boyfriend. James is recently back in town, a middle school mean-girl to Delaney, and as a bonus she is cheating boyfriends’ sister. Given this setup, Delaney and James take a very long time to even speak to each other, let alone develop anything deeper. A school bully dynamic is difficult to overcome, especially when the end goal is romantic. That said, the author does a decent job of navigating a tricky story arc.
The supporting cast is smaller than in some of the earlier tales in the series, though there are a few opportunities to catch up with characters the reader may have met before. This is an engaging tale with a little spice, and the anticipated happy ending.

Bullying someone is wrong!

Delaney in high school was set upon by a bully and suffering through was tiring and disgusting! Until her bully came back home! OMG! Her bully was supposed to be another boy per her mom, she was named James! But James has gone in a180 direction, as is disgusting to James as to what she did to Delaney she had a secret motive! That was a problem! Problem with that is James and Delaney always liked each other secretly! What happens now? Enjoy!

SO SWEET!

I love all of Chelsea’s books, but this one seemed to hit me in a whole new place. Great story, and reading about a sweet girl being in a relationship with a horrible guy made me feel such empathy for Delaney. Their middle school antics reminded me of young boys being mean to the girls they secretly liked. That was James, bullying Delaney because she wanted her attention. So sweet…

Another Good One

This was another good entry into this series. It was a little different but carried on enough you know it was in the same town.

I did notice that there were a few more typos than there usually are in her stories. I wonder if she got a new proofreader. Nothing to stop you from reading though.

I've generally enjoyed this series of books, but after a strong opening half, they often finish in a way that feels too rushed. I wish more time was spent developing the new relationship once the MCs get together - it just feels like the author wants to wrap the story up as soon as the characters "couple up". It's a shame.

I've always loved her witty writing and the way the women in her stories fall for other women and stay with these women. I'm not a fan of the bullying in high school thing but Chelsea Cameron turns it into a book worth reading.

Being Clueless can become a HEA

The reformed misunderstood bully and the shy kindhearted clueless goody 2 shoes are a wonderful couple of characters. Some legit LOL moments.

I really liked this one. However, I did find the dialogue hard to follow sometimes. I got the feeling the author mixed up the main characters' names once or twice.
