About the author

I've always loved to read, loved losing myself in the lives of the people on those pages. Sitting at work one day, I started to wonder what would it be like if I woke up one day with magical powers. How would that effect my life? Where did they come from? Why me? As I thought about the answers to those questions, Magic Found started coming together and it took off with a life of its own. When the rest of the Marquand family demanded their own stories, The Magic of the Heart Series was born.

Well written, but things are just too easy. Minimal conflict. Quinn stole Amber's powers, how in the hell does she just forgive him?!

Fate has a way of stepping in and creating most unlikely befellows. I enjoyed this book. Each book has brought a different cultural base. In this case, we had a piece of the Lakota Sioux language and beliefs entwined and its beauty in the language.
There is plenty of drama to go around, to say the least. Wasn't so sure they would save him in time.
Gideon, alas, I am not sure what to make of him and his spooky mannerisms.

Escape into fantasy land

Enjoyed the third as much as the first two. Couldn't , put it down. Read all three books in less than two weeks. Can't wait to start the third. Misha McKenzie is wonderful author. I love where she takes you, fantasy land. An escape from reality.
