Being a fan of fantasy I especially enjoyed this sapphic trilogy. Read the 3 books, one after another. Looking forward to Daisy and Rylee’s story.

Ok. That’s my take away. This, the third book in this series (not sure it’s the last with that ending) is just ok. While it didn’t have the constant repetition that the second book did, there was still some here and there. No what got me were some of the inconsistencies during this book. 1. I don’t know any kind of drone that can pick up a signal 10-12hrs worth of distance away but yet they have a drone in Mayfield that can track a heat signature in the mountains where the base is? Come on. 2. The fight against the big facility is in the mountains but yet we run to Mayfield to train and prepare(which is described as a two day drive or 10-12hr run) when isn’t Ghost pack literally in the same area and littered with soldiers who have been spying on this facility the whole time?! But yet we go in with 4 people? 3. Sloane and Pierce. Can we not just shoot them and be done? No we have to monologue then let them escape, apparently Pierce decided to “go down with the ship” which with her last monologue vaguely foreshadows a continuation of this overall story arch. I did enjoy Lydia and Alexis romance and background story. The dash of spice was nice and I’m happy with where they ended up. Overall the first book was my favorite and the overall story arch was what kept me reading.

Makes you want vengeance

I loved this world created with women loving wolves and the women they turn into. The growth in the relationship is genuine and it comes through in these books. I hate that we dont get a proper ending and we dont know if the series will continue, but please dont let this be the last one. I wanna know more about the wolves kept in cages, Maya and how she'll come into her own with two strong mothers to live up to. Maybe she finds her mate.... Jess and Jewel's love story.

Conclusion

The powerful conclusion of the trilogy...

Seemed long winded in some places with repeated scenarios and words... Systematic is overused but still creates the picture you need to see to be able to understand the depth of the problems the wolves face

Throughout the series there was one thing that bothered me as a reader was the use of the word shift... Using it in a sense other than when shifters change their forms gets confusing but I loved this series and I literally cried through this last edition
