This is a dark contemporary why-choose romance about devotion under pressure, hidden threats, and fighting to hold onto a future that was never meant to come easy.
I said yes to forever. To all four of them. To a life I never believed I was allowed to want. The wedding is coming together, the plans are set, and for the first time, I have a family that chose me without hesitation.
But nothing in the O’Reilly world stays untouched for long.
As the day approaches, threats begin to surface and long-buried secrets start to crack open. Enemies from the shadows move closer, and one of the men I love is hiding something that could tear our family apart. The closer we get to the altar, the more dangerous it becomes to believe this ending is guaranteed.
The brothers have fought too hard to lose me now. Their loyalty is absolute, their protection ruthless, and they will do whatever it takes to keep what is theirs. I am done running. Done doubting. Done believing happiness comes with an expiry date.
This time, I am not just surviving. I am choosing forever.
Four Fiancés & I is the fifth book in the O’Reilly Fight Club series, a dark contemporary why-choose romance featuring found family, wedding stakes, fiercely protective heroes, hidden secrets, criminal danger, and high-intensity emotional bonds.
This book contains mature themes and adult content that may be unsuitable for some readers.
75% is dreary and depressing, with enemies everywhere and it’s ridiculous. Last 25% is really good. Epilogue is Abbi and I assume Alisdair McIntyre and I can’t find their book! 😡
I usually like a bit of danger and drama but it’s way over the top in this. I got so confused over who people were and the list of their enemies could fill several pages, and I’m not even exaggerating. The book begins with Christian disappearing for a few days and no one can get hold of him, he denies anything is going on even to his brothers. After this happens a few times. it’s upsetting Jasmine as he keeps letting her down. Eventually after fighting with Jason he finally admits that there’s someone new after them and are trying to destroy him and his brothers. To be honest even when they find out who it is I’ve got no clue who he is, or why he hates Christian. Then as soon as one drama/enemy is sorted another one pops up and it’s even more ludicrous! I hate it when authors write about characters ‘teaching themselves how to hack.’ Do they not realise it takes years to hone it??? Also I knew who it was pretty much straight away as it’s really obvious.
In the middle of all the drama, Maximus is resentful of Christian, Christian is resentful of Jason as he didn’t kill Hudson, Jason is resentful of both himself for not killing Hudson and Christian, and Sean is just Sean. It’s ridiculous! Jasmine alternates between being traumatised and needing her teddy and blanket, to bossing the men around and apparently scaring the security staff. 😂😂😂💩💩💩 Yeah whatever!!! Either she’s got multiple personalities or this author is really terrible at writing about trauma.
Eventually it’s the day of the wedding and by that point I wanted the epilogue to be about them and them being HAPPY!!! Not about Abbi and Alisdair McIntyre and I can’t find their frigging book. There comes a point when there’s too much drama and this book went past that line, way past that line. It’s dreary and depressing, and not very well written.
Christian, Jason, Maximus, and Sean finally marry their dream girl Jasmine. One of Christian's enemies takes out a contract hit on him, and even after he is dealt with, the wedding continues to be sabotaged making everyone feel out of control. When they finally find out that Sean's bodyguard has become obsessed with him leads to a happily ever after. But there are several plotlines that are unanswered which I believe means there could be an incoming book.
Jaz has met up with her stepbrothers again and everything starts to get complicated. Violence starts near the beginning of the story and carries on until near the end. I have to admit that I had to, several times, skip a few pages as I am not a big fan of the rough stuff. There is also a mole within their security and the unveiling is quite the surprise. Despite all the things going wrong, Jaz finally gets her big day, with her “Daddies” and her best friends.
I have loved this series from the very beginning!! Jasmine's struggles to get her hea has had me crying and laughing. I thought I had figured out who was causing all the problems but was I way off! way to keep the readers guessing. I hope there are more books in the series, closure for Verity, and both Abbi and Danielle find men of their own.
This one was very entertaining and all the characters were perfect for their roles. It is very full of action, intrigue and mystery. It also expands on the four fiancés and their fiancée. The character interaction and flow of the plot is so smooth. I so encourage the reading of this series and this story. It will brighten your day. Highly recommend.
I loved this serious and I highly recommend the 'daddies' still freaks me but as long you can keep going past what she calls them it is well worth reading. I can't wait to read more of the authors books. I think the author allows you to get to know each character without anyone being overlooked
I laughed, I cried, I remain obsessed with this world and all its characters both the main and side characters are so perfectly flawed people you can almost believe they were real. Absolutely loved from start to finish and glad to see a true happy ending for Jasmine and her men
I’ve loved them all from the very beginning until now, the wedding! Tears for Mrs.Brown and then more tears for the exchange of vows and the blessing. Thank you so much for sharing them. Hope we’ll hear more about Abbie and Verity too. Many blessings to you.
Four Finances & I by D. E. Bartley is book four in O'Reilly Fight Club Series. This has been an excellent series. I'd love to see how Jasmine & her guys have a family! This book ties up Jasmine & her men, with their wedding.,
Each book in this series gets better and better. This volume took so many turns with each page that it left my head spinning. The thought of one woman to four men is so alluring, how could you not grab this read?
Amazing series of books. Really well written and keeps you hooked from start to finish. I was devastated when it came to the end and there was no epilogue to what happens post wedding. But regardless, it was such a great read. Would definitely recommend.

There were so many mistakes in this book that it ruined it. It almost got into my DNF list but I wanted to finish the series. Idol and idle are NOT interchangeable. Intermate is not a word. The list goes on and on. Embarrassing for this author.
What a wonderful and exciting series this has been. I have loved each book and couldn’t wait for this one. An amazing story bringing everyone together. Sexy and full of love. A must read.
If you're craving drama, devotion, and a girl who'll fight like hell for her love story, this is your new addiction!
Jasmine's wedding is set to be the fairytale of the century if she can survive the shadows lurking at the edge of her happily ever after. With secrets, threats, and four fiercely protective men, this reverse harem romance is both sweet and sizzling, pulling you in for one delicious, high-stakes ride.
The last book that follows the O’Reilly men and Jasmine. There is so much action, mystery, and closure wrapped up in this final installment. It also expands on the four fiancés and their fiancées. We learn more about each of the O’reilly men that was not discussed or even hinted at in past books. The character interaction and flow of the plot are so smooth. I was not expecting half of what was revealed, but dang, what a rollercoaster ride. I loved this series so much; it was thrilling, action-packed, and hella spicy. I would recommend this series to all my dark romance readers who like the explosive tropes of why choose, found family, forbidden love, mafia, daddy kink, and men who would kill for their women.
Oh my goodness! ....... Each book can be a standalone but trust me, read from book one. Each book builds on the one before and yeah, ok, they do have small cliffhangers at the ends but nothing you couldn't walk away from easily if you decide you're happy only reading that one book.
