Jana and her husband, Michael, call Austin, Texas, home. They have three children—two preteen girls and a toddler boy who keep them busy! Jana works with words every day as an editor, writer, speaker, and worship leader. As a family, they love to visit with family and friends, travel, camp, hike, be outside as much as possible, cook, read, listen to music, and play lots of games.

Loved following the adventures of Gabe and his friends. Strong themes of friendship, bravery, and faith throughout the book. Can’t wait for book two!

What a fun read! This felt like the kind of fantasy adventure book I loved as a kid but can rarely find anymore. Colorful worldbuilding, unique and loveable characters, and a fast-paced adventure that will keep you turning pages.
