Moss Bayou #6

Lily's Surrender

Rate this book
Sometimes you find strength and courage when you surrender your heart…

Great family, friends, and career keep Lily Quinn centered. She’s in control of her ordered world. Then, the sinfully sexy undercover cop turns everything sideways. From their first unplanned kiss, Lily sensed something she couldn’t control with planning or preparation. The bad boy cop soothes her fears, and in his arms she learns hot-and-wonderful really does burn white hot. So hot, Lily can’t walk away.

Wyatt Hawke is more than just an easy going cop with a devilish grin. He’s a man with sad memories just under his carefree bad boy surface. One look at the beautiful Lily and he knew he loved her. In less than a month, he knew Lily had to be his or his life would be empty. The sexy Lily soothes his wounds and ignites a heat that burns hotter than the sun. Good thing Lily wants it all because there’s no turning back after what they’ve done.

Lily and Wyatt have secrets. Secrets about to come out thanks to a deranged man who decides he wants Lily for himself – at any cost. Both Lily and Wyatt face a danger neither suspect until it’s too late. There’s only one way to beat the sick man calling the shots. Lily must rely on the courage and strength she gains from Wyatt’s love, while Wyatt must work with focus and determination to get to Lily before it’s too late.

When writing about southern Louisiana, Cajuns, and the bayous, it's from real life. Terrebonne Parish will always be home even though GiGi now lives in Maryland via twelve years along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Writing is something she always kept private because she was teased as a child for having a wild and vivid imagination. She wrote her first "book" at nine years old, which consisted of 4 handwritten sheets of paper stapled together: crayon-colored cover included. Having earned a B.A. from the University of Alabama in Criminal Justice and then added a Master's in Criminal Justice from Capella University, that imagination is now even wilder! Married to her very own Prince Charming and living happily ever after for more than twenty years, she designs happily-ever-afters for the characters she calls her imaginary friends.

Lily and Wyatt were awesome and the sick and twisted Jeremy was creepy! Could NOT put this book down until it was finished! Gigi Duvall ropes me in every time.
