The New York Times bestselling Her Billionaires series AND the Random series continues...
As Laura struggles to understand her relationship with Mike and Dylan, her best friend Josie recommends a surprising ally: Josie's niece, Darla (from the New York Times bestselling Random series). When Laura and Darla meet for lunch at Jeddy's diner and are served by wise-cracking waitress Madge, what was supposed to be a moment of connection for two very unique women turns into a rollicking screwball scene.
Turnabout is fair play: Mike and Dylan meet with Joe and Trevor (also from the Random series) for the least comfortable conversation ever. While all the guys bond and spar, for Mike and Dylan it's like looking back in time...and maybe the past has a few surprises they didn't see coming. It's one thing to feel unique, but it's quite another to feel lonely. The gang learns that being connected means being vulnerable...with unexpected results.
Readers who love Darla, Trevor and Joe from the Random series AND Laura, Mike, Dylan Alex and Josie are in for a treat as everyone meets at Jeddy's Diner and Madge serves up one heck of a lunch...
New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Julia Kent writes romantic comedy with an edge. Since 2013, she has sold more than 2 million books, with 5 New York Times bestsellers and more than 21 appearances on the USA Today bestseller list. Her books have been translated into French, German, and Italian, with more titles releasing in the future.
From billionaires to BBWs to new adult rock stars, Julia finds a sensual, goofy joy in every contemporary romance she writes. Unlike Shannon from Shopping for a Billionaire, she did not meet her husband after dropping her phone in a men's room toilet (and he isn't a billionaire in a rom com).
She also writes romantic suspense as Meli Raine, sexy shifter romances as DJ Jennings, billionaire shifters as half of the author team Diana Seere, and co-authors with Elisa Reed.
She lives in New England with her husband and three children in a household where she is the only person with the gene required to change empty toilet paper rolls.
Well what to say about Complete Bliss....where do I begin...well I loved it! It was great to see the whole crew together...all in one place...Jeddy's and let the fun begin. Madge adds her usual humor to the event and Joe, Trevor, Mike and Dylan compare notes and Alex is just there taking it all in when Madge isn't making him cringe when too much info about his grandfather is revealed. This book has honesty, laughter, and penis shaped cakes! This book gives you the point of view from each of them and it even mentions Lydia and Mike with Jeremiah who are tied to this entire group via Madge. I look forward to more from this crew and recommend this series to anyone who has not yet experienced Julia Kent's writing. Hell I recommend all of her books...pick one up you will not be disappointed! I was very glad that I took a chance on the first book of her's I read and have read all that she has written to date. I was gifted this book for my honest opinion.
I have always LOVED the dinner scenes that take place in Jeddy’s, but this one takes the cake!! Madge is one of my favorite characters and here dialog is always roll on the floor funny. Complete Bliss brings you full circle with a number of Julia’s characters…..Laura, Mike, and Dylan(yummmmm) from Her Billionaires, Darla (LOL Funny), Joe, and Trevor from Random Acts, and Alex and Josie from It’s Complicated. By bringing all these characters together it makes for a great mix of witty humor, crazy sex talk, and friendly banter. We are left with a little of a cliffhanger so hurry up with the next book Julia!!! If you haven’t read these other series go grab a copy today and start reading. It isn’t a necessity to read them before reading Complete Bliss, but by doing so it will make this book that much more enjoyable.
This is filled with the author’s classic humor, but it also digs deep into the emotional “guts” of the relationships shown in this book. Can they find support among people in similar situations as them? Or are their individual relationships too unique to find common ground? I enjoyed seeing all the cameo time from my favorite Random characters, however I would have preferred if this hadn’t ended in another cliff-hanger
The two triads compare notes and experiences over gastro-diner food.... The major topics are jealousy and parental acceptance / disapproval... It's okay as far as it goes but not that thrilling to me.
I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review, and my honest opinion is that I could not have loved this more! Julia Kent has outdone herself, and that’s saying something. What do you get when you cross the cast of “Her Billionaires” with some of the “Random Acts of Crazy” cast? You get a story that is funny, dramatic, sexy, intriguing, engrossing, and highly entertaining. The scenes in Jeddy’s (especially with the guys talk) are just fantastic! And good old Madge provides more than a little comic relief. You won’t be able to put this book down, and then when you get to the end... duh, duh, duh. Julia leaves us with a little bit of a cliffie, but never fear. She is already hard at work on the sequel, so we won’t have to wait too long to find out what happens with our beloved characters. If you’ve read these two book series and have fallen in love with these characters (and really, how could you not?), you will absolutely be glued to the pages of this book. Hell, even if you haven’t read the previous book series, you’ll still get a kick out of this book. It’s that good! So go... buy it... read it now! You’ll be glad you did!
In Julia Kent's latest 'Her Billionaires' novella, the author brings together Laura, Mike & Dylan from 'Her Billionaires', Josie & Alex from 'It's Complicated' and Darla, Trevor & Joe from 'Random Acts'.
There's even a mention of Lydia, Michael & Jeremy from the 'Obedient' series.
And I have to say, it was bliss. I love it when characters from other books 'get together'.
In this installment, Josie suggests that Laura and Darla meet for lunch AND bring along their male partners for their own opportunity to 'chat amongst themselves'. And of course the topic will be how to navigate a committed triad relationship while inhaling the best food EVER at the local diner. Sidebar - really wish there was a place like Jeddy's in my town.
Be warned - this story has a fair amount of angst and a CLIFFHANGER ending. But it's so, so worth it. I love these characters and can't wait to see where they go next.
While reading the previous books in the series is not required, it will make it much more enjoyable.
Amazing good read Josie want to get Laura to talk to Darla about their relationship. So Laura called Darla who happen to work for her at the threesome dating service .. So Laura and her partners and Darla and her partners and lets not forget Josie and Alex all meet up at Jeddy's dinner to talk .. Talk about their relationship, the guys in one booth and the girls in the other .. Lets not the owner and waitress at Jeddy's .. this is an easy read and once you start reading it you won't put it down until the end .. you got hot sex scene this story has emotional turns of events for all the couples . you must read the first two series to be able to understand what is good one .. Can not wait to see what happens next with Laura's uncle ..
What a great book. Of course, you can't go wrong when you purchase any book written by Ms. Kent. Somehow she has managed to merge three different series into one world with this book. While this book only spans a few days you get an in-depth look at the character's past and present issues. As always, the book is extremely funny. I certainly wish I could go eat at Jeddy's... I'd especially enjoy the ice cream dish. You'll know what I mean after you read this book. This does end on a cliff-hanger, but the next novella will be here shortly.
This is an easy decision you won't regret, buy this right away.
This was a wonderful continuation to both of Ms. Kent's series. Having the characters interact from Her Billionaires and Random Acts series was brilliant. All the characters we love seeing them look at younger versions of themselves was hilarious! Being back at Jeddy's with Madge giving commentary was some of the funniest scenes to date. Makes me wish Jeddy's was a real place for me to visit! I love all these characters, they make me laugh and cry but I always return to see what they're up to. Highly addictive characters.
I absolutely LOVED both the Her Billionaires series AND the Random series if you haven't checked those out, they are definitely worth reading! This book takes off where those ended. I woke my husband up the night I was reading this because, there are some hilarious parts in this book. It also gets into detail of what its really like to be in a relationship with three people. I seriously can't say anything more besides you really should read this if you've read the other books!
Loving the continuation on this series. Julia Kent has such a wonderful sense of humor. I always feel like she is writing "to me" because of the references she puts in the stories that I feel like "only I would understand." She still adds the sexy goodies to her writing too. Great job Julia. I can't wait to see what happens next.
Another great read and more from all the gang In this novella Mike and Dylan get to think about their past and Trevor and Joe try to get to grips of their relationship with Darla and why they feel like this and whats to come. Would like more from these characters but it ends on ohhhh whats gonna happen next
I can't get enough of these couples and it always fun to go back a visit them. You’re going to laugh you butt off. Never a dull moment with any of the relationships, and when you bring them together even better. I love that Julia gives you a glimpse back with each one. This book focuses more on Mike, Dylan and Laura. Looking forward to the next book!!!
Julia has done it again. This is my favorite series ever. I dont know who i love more Laura. Nike and Dylan or Darla,Joe and Trevor. The writing and stories dont get old or boring. Julia keeps that funny and new. Cant put these books down once I start reading them. Hope she keeps them coming.
OMG! I loved it. This one has all the same great humor and sexiness the all of her books have. You will love every minute of it. Madge is just so funny. And all of the gang will have you riveted to your seat. You will not be able to put this one down. Julia did it again, Great job.
This was a novella that's sort of a bridge to bring together all of the main characters in this series and to lead into a new book. I enjoyed it very much! Love to read about goofy Darla, Joe, and Trevor.
As I've said before and continue to say, Julia Kent keeps getting better with time and each book. It's great to get the original crew all back together, they were fun, hilarious, and genuine. I loved this book, and can't wait for Complete We.
First let me say that I love Julia Kent. Her books always deliver. But this was even better. It was fun, sad, heart warming, and everything I want in a book. All my favorite characters were in it and made me remember why I loved them. Awesome book.
This book was awesome. I never laughed so hard! The chemistry between madge and darla is priceless! And honestly I just want to punch Joe in the face for his behavior. Julia kent you are just brilliant with your exceptional books and fan-freaking-tastic storylines. I loved it.
I loved it!! Of course I love anything by Julia Kent. I laughed so hard while I read this book. I love Darla more and more. She is a hoot. Madge always makes the book. I would love to meet her!! lol
Fun little novella combining the "her Billionaires" and "random acts of Crazy" stories into one great read. I love all the characters and where the story continues from the other series. There is some great stuff, some laughs, heat and romance. Great read.
I loved reading the whole clan coming together to talk about sex. It was quite comical at times. There was a bit of hotness in this story too. Can't wait for the next story.
Julia has done it again! I have loved all of her books!!!! This one was just as great as the others! This book was hilarious!!!!! I couldn't put it down until I finished it! It's a must read!!!!
