Holy cow this book!!! I can NOT express how much I loved this book. The action, the drama, the mystery and the spice was just popping off the pages from page one! I devoured this book within hours and the wait for book 3 is feeling very real. Even though I know the wait isn't long at all. I don't understand how Leia could pop out these masterpieces so quickly and so smoothly.

another cliffhanger

I’m going to be furious if the next book is not the advertised conclusion to this trilogy.
That said, I still rated this book 5 stars because I’m completely absorbed by this story. A review I read said that this was basically a rewrite of the books about the previous generation’s conflict. I firmly disagree.
I am much more invested in these characters and I’m finding the story harder to put down. Calling it the same because the main character is forced on a quest that includes self discovery in order to prevent a catastrophic event would cast all fantasy as the same or unimaginative.

I was so excited for this second book in the series. There was more information on the characters past lives and what they wanted to make happen for the future. This book’s story got intense with the storyline. You didn’t know what would happen next. I can’t wait for the next book. Great writer

I’m liking Cassius a whole lot! I’m worried about Vorzyr and him and Arianna after that ending though and about this new character who just showed at the end! Can’t wait for book 3!

Wow! Continues straight away where Harbinger left off. So much action, so many curve balls and surprises. I may have shouted ‘Noooooo!’ when I got to the end. That cliffhanger. Just. I am not ok.
Really need the next book!!
