Shore Thing by Ellie Hall is definitely a sure thing ,I’m telling you all . It always is a brilliant time as her writing is so sublime and good .Positively compelling as the storytelling is so divine along with its storyline.Grease is the word in this delightful box set of goodness with a bonus book too. Woohoo. Can’t get enough of Ellie Hall y’all! There’s We Go Together :- Oh my goodness Ellie Hall you’ve done it to me again! This story is sooooo beautifully written with all the cuteness overload and pure characters with heart that you portray so well. This was a delightfully perfect , endless summer reading. 🥹Duchess Diana Daniels ( Dee Dee) Barclay gets a long break from her duties in Concordia when she stays with her grandmother Eviana Daniels in Palisade Shores for a year. Falling in love with surfer Sunny. Diana / DeeDee and Sunny had plans of their own. They’d talked about getting married after high school and opening a surf shop….…For one school year, she was the girl next door and had her whole life before her , happy and in love ….then she left and it was over. Sunny went into hiding as he couldn’t face her un abiding talk. Sunny feared he couldn’t be with Diana so he quietly pushed her away as she was terrified of upsetting her mother, so obediently went along with her plans. That was a decade ago. Here and now she’s promised to Antony Mega Doux of Gauntsham and has a personal attendant by the name of Myra and at least one personal bodyguard. She’s at her cousin’s wedding in Palisade Shores when her Aunt Helene lets the cat out of the bag with regard to her now dead Gran-Mare…It is Dee Dee who inherited her Villa three years ago …didn’t she know? Well of course this sends her legs racing. Where to go? She takes flight into the night and ends up exhausted on the beach where Sunny now a lifeguard is after catching a wave but has to get rid of the mermaid that’s lain on the beach and has been for an hour or more….. “Sunny, this isn’t how I want you to see me for the first time in nine years.” “It’s not that bad.” 🤩 Crying not crying ! 😭 I’m in awe of how much is packed into the pages ! Ellie Hall you gave me the feels as I knew you would , with the great characters and their traits , even the ones who aren’t good. As perfect a pairing as ever there was is Sunny with his DeeDee and their Endless Summer. Then there’s The One I Want - well who could ask for anything less than Ellie Hall’s best with this pearl of a book all set to read in a cosy nook here’s my review for you:- This book has absolutely all the feels, it really makes you wake up and take in the sea air as if catching a wave without any care. “Just stay a little longer, please,” I emphasize the last part. This is a sample of Ellie Hall’s genius , with her penmanship she knows the one that what we want ( couldn’t resist ) …“But you deserve one.” “The hard truth is no one deserves anything.” I absolutely adore her writing, her storytelling comes with such ease, or should I say it seems like that because with her wit and hints at happy ever after she does so like to tease. Katie remembers when they were just kids, staring at the stars while he told her his wishes. How he looked at her differently than anyone else. Even when she was at the diner or doing the dishes. Ya see Rocco came back to help his twin sister Geena take care of Aiden and Avery his nephew and niece. They ‘rescue’ a dog but turns out they were wrong , it was Katie’s dog Tugger and she wasn’t too pleased to find out her brother’s girlfriend wasn’t taking him anywhere but at least he was fed….When it comes to light just what she’d been doing, no longer would her brother she be wooing! Rocco comes to a conclusion, maybe he doesn’t hate Palisade Shores ….or he loves Katy more. Especially after seeing a familiar butt heading out a window at the diner? Well he’s never seen anything finer! Katie is the one that got away , his best ever friend , lover and confidant , because once he let he go , didn’t know she was the one that he wanted. She was running scared too and didn’t know how to react to a sudden proposal so she went out of her way to put on an act. Well it worked so well that he went away, but now he’s back but could he really mean it ? Saying this time he’s here to stay?…. She works at Pinky’s diner and makes it out to the surf break often. Her friend Shelly isn’t over the moon because she doesn’t know where it’s heading with her boyfriend Dune. Meanwhile her brother Joey has still not surfaced , she needed him to help out with her grandmother Tootsie’s surprise party… good thing Rocco Racoon isn’t going anywhere soon….”I’ll only leave Palisade Shores if you want me to and even then you’ll have to chase me out with the hound, which I don’t imagine happening.” Sublime writing Ellie, I super enjoyed this story , the writing, the sweet characters and the plot isn’t all it’s got going for it, it’s super immersive and feels so real , I was rooting so much for these two I could squeal…. For real ! Like a big kid I was so darn tooting and rooting for Rocco the Racoon and his Katydid. 🥹 we’re not yet either …. Hopelessly Devoted is next it’s superb here’s my blurb:- Hopelessly Devoted the third instalment of the SoCal trio full of Grease themes by Ellie Hall has it all. Oh my word , this book is so great. We have Bea Fletcher who was once rich but now she’s poor thanks to the family of her high school date who ran off and left after one kiss.. Left town never to be seen again and her dismissed! She’s running her Bridal Boutique that used to belong to her Aunt , she’s ever a bridesmaid as her friends all pair off , but she hasn’t found Mr. Right , or even right now. Finn Barton is wearing golden handcuffs , having to cater to the whim of his father’s 6th new upcoming wife so there’s probably a step brother or sister on its way …yay… He had a ski accident right out of school and has severe amnesia ,doesn’t recall six years out of his life. When Finn Barton walks into her Boutique she has to do a second glance …No! It can’t be , that boy Finn who did a runner after that kiss and dance?! And now he’s getting wed… well he’s made his bed and he can lie in it , though she doesn’t look his type there’s quite an age deficit. She finds out of course she’s the new Mrs B , so doesn’t know whether to dance , cheer or get up her hopes you see. Because his dad did the dirty on her mum and dad , they did their bit too and it was all a bit sad. That’s why she’s stony broke and no longer rich but she is quite happy about her lot as she goes into her sales pitch. What of old man Barton? Maybe this time , he has every reason to hide because thanks to the power he gave to his son , he’s now come undone. “Did you want to be boyfriend and girlfriend?” “Yes, very much.” “Did I?” “I’m not sure.” “Tell me more” tell ME more cos this just got interesting reading … After a long day at the shop she was on her way to a meeting when of a sudden she sees Finn and compelled to save him from a lynching she grabs him inside so he could hide. She decides to help him out but heaven knows why , she needs the old Finn who isn’t going to give into them destroying their town . She has to try or she’d be letting everyone in town down . So as they journey through the past she tries to bring back his memory at last but it feels she’ll need a shot blast ! Their kisses have her all in a trance , so delightful she feels as if she can dance ..Then one tiny action has a strange reaction and Finn’s off running from her kisses again! But not for long and of a sudden she has a dance to go to 🎵Grease is the word ,its the word ,it’s the word , it’s got a groove it’s got meaning 🎵 And a fine romance partner to cuddle up to…Woohoo! Dance at the wedding maybe ? Who knows but I just know that… . This book has great prose and beautiful characters that are endearing and sweet, striking a pose as he sweeps her off her feet . So, from now on Danny and Sandy can start singing Hopelessly Devoted and not get in a tizzy because this happy couple are besotted and dizzy , this time around they are in love. And that’s mighty sound. Awesome storytelling Ellie Hall . This book has plenty of good and wholesome feel and full of heart, but most of all love and a real feel. Now that’s handsome! Bravo 👌🏼 Here’s the last in the four book set is it the best yet ? Well we’ll have to see . Shelly and Dune ,were they destined to honeymoon before they’ve even met? It’s a different proposal he has in mind ,the conservationist kind. Well you see they both end up booking the same rental . And she’s a bit temperamental at best and he just wants to give it a rest. I think that’s best Dune ,but don’t worry she’ll soon be over the moon and sure to swoon . Beachfront dream house ,the perfect place full of Grace unless you got a grouch of a man in your face ! Full of party supplies and floaters in hand she doesn’t expect this misunderstand. Zero tolerance is correct because with these two opposites what did we expect. She’s sunshine to his grouch but soon he looks forward to the interruptions to his work and he stops being quite such a jerk. Suddenly like a lightning strike a storm rolls in ,yikes they have to hold tight in their two bedrooms one kitchen delight. But under that leaky roof something changes ,the gears shift and instead of adrift they’re together in part .This then is where the fun and beach cleanup starts ,where they become close and it’s not gross…Ellie Hall is the best at these short Grease punned stories an ideal summer reading . You could say Summer Loving ,it happened so fast …and with this story ,I had me a blast ! A blissful read indeed . I devoured with greed. Is this maybe the next book title Ellie lass? It’s a Shore Thing ( well I had to didn’t I) and makes my heart sing that’s one hundred percent true cause Ellie Hall I love everything you do with that brain pen and wit . So what you waiting for ? The next book please now ,get on with it! Please ….

*each book can be read as a stand-alone
*each book is 5 stars
*each book is written from both main characters’ points of view

1.We Go Together

Reader’s Notes:
– this is told from Dee Dee (Diana) & Sunny’s points of view
– it is mentioned that Diana’s fiance is known to be unfaithful

Review:

If you need a very quick & sweet read, this book is the perfect length & story for it! I loved getting to read this second chance romance and getting to know our main characters. I was glad that Diana’s grandmother made plans to be able to help Diana realize/choose the life she wanted over the one she was being forced into. And I loved that her grandmother had the forethought to include Sunny in the plans and kept him close. These two were adorable & I can’t wait to find out what happens with their friends’ romances in the next two stories!

Summary:

Diana is about to have every inch of her life moving forward in the direction of her mother’s plans. So when a chance comes to get away from it all, Diana runs to the one place she can remember being happy: her grand-mere’s home in Palisade Shores, California. And there, Diana finds an unexpected blast from the past in the form of Sunny, the man she never forgot…

Sunny never thought he’d see Diana again, not when it’s all over the news that she’s on her way to being the royal adjacent that she grew up as. But when she unexpectedly shows up in Palisade Shores, he finds himself hoping that this might be their chance to try again. If Diana’s willing to follow what she wants instead of fulfilling the arranged marriage her mother set up for her…

2.The One I Want

Reader’s Notes:
– this is told from Katy & Rocco’s points of view
– it is mentioned that Katy’s father is in jail after getting involved in a motorcycle gang

Review:

This was another fun & quick read that I enjoyed! I loved seeing these two find a second chance at love! I loved that Katy’s dog (well, brother’s dog that she’s watching) was a fairly big component to having them talk more than they probably would have if Katy had her way. I loved that they both really liked the pup & couldn’t hold back from showing him affection. I loved that Rocco’s niece & nephew added some fun to their story and that Katy’s grandmother was the kick in the pants to make Katy desperate enough to suggest any form of relationship with Rocco!

Summary:

Katy has built herself a great life after everything life threw at her. But it’s all threatened when a blast from the past pokes their way back into Palisade Shores. Rocco was once the guy she got into trouble and dreamed of having a life long relationship with. Until he left her behind upon graduating high school. It doesn’t help that her feelings haven’t gone away. Nor does it help that her grandmother expects her birthday gift to be that Katy is in a committed relationship… and Rocco is the only one Katy can think of to fill the role…

Rocco returned to Palisade Shores after his time in the military to help his sister with her kids while his brother in law is deployed. Unsurprisingly, Palisade Shores looks basically the same as when he left. However, one thing does surprise Rocco. Katy is still in Palisade Shores instead of riding off into the sunset on her motorcycle like he expected her to do. He regrets the way he left things with her and is ready to jump to her aid when she needs his help…

3.Hopelessly Devoted

Reader’s Notes:
– this is told from Bea & Finn’s points of view
– a character has lost some important memories of their life

Review:

This was cute! I loved the mutual pining with a mix of amnesia. I loved that they got to walk down memory lane and had that chance to reconnect. I loved seeing them fall again and take hold of their futures. I didn’t want it to end!

Summary:

Bea used to be one of the most influential and rich girls of Palisade Shores’s high school, until everything in her world came crumbling down. Now she gets by running her aunt’s – now her’s – bridal boutique. But nothing in life has been easy thus far, so it shouldn’t have surprised Bea when her secret life-long crush walked into her shop. And with him, a woman searching for her wedding gown. So he’s engaged?

Finn has just been going with the flow since his accident. But nothing seems to fit right. Especially when it comes to his family’s business. Though with no other options, what’s he supposed to do? When a chance meeting with the owner of the local bridal boutique gives Finn a sense of rightness, he is determined to pursue that feeling to find more of what he’s been missing. And it doesn’t hurt that Bea is beautiful and willing to help him do so…

4.Endless Summer Nights

Reader’s Notes:
– this is told from Shelly & Dune’s points of view
– there is an age gap of about 10 years between them
-it is mentioned that a character left an abusive relationship (one that tried closing them off from others & controlling every aspect of their life; events/relationship occurred & ended before the beginning of the story)

Review:
This is such a sweet ending to this series! I’m really glad that Ellie Hall decided to add in Shelly’s story after we got to see her in other books.

I loved the forced proximity these two had to endure in a few places during their time together. I loved that we could tell it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows between them (beyond Dune’s grumpiness 😂) and their idiosyncrasies, but that they chose to try and make things work anyways. I also loved that we got to see/hear a bit more about the other couples in the series and where they are currently at at this point!

Summary:
Shelly has grown into herself since retreating to her godmother’s home in Palisade Shores. With new changes on the horizon, Shelly is excited for her godmother’s retirement and wants to show her the town’s appreciation. In need of some space to plan, Shelly rents a beach house to make preparations without the secret getting out. Only when she gets there, Shelly discovers that someone else is already moved in. And he’s the grumpiest guy Shelly’s ever met.

Dune is focused on getting his marine conservation proposal completed with all the research he’s going to gather. Finding a beach house nearby is serendipitous and gives him space from the town he’d never wanted to come back to. But when a random woman comes into the beach house claiming to have booked it, things start to look less quiet than Dune had hoped. With no other place to go and both of them determined not to leave, Dune will have to get used to the bright noise Shelly brings. And with every little new things Dune learns about her, he hopes that he’ll keep his focus on his work over the woman now sharing his space…

Shore Thing would make perfect reading for your next trip to the beach. You can read just one or binge all four of these short, sweet, summer, romantic comedies set in southern California.
In We Go Together, Dee Dee and Sunny are perfect together. I am so glad she decided to rebel and follow her heart! They are different but I loved each one.
In The One I Want, Katy and Rocco have some issues to overcome, but love, and a determined dog, will triumph in this short read that is perfect for an afternoon or evening escape from your reality.
In Hopelessly Devoted. Bea & Finn are fascinating as they work on saving the library, rekindle their high school crushes, and more. The rival family dynamic adds another layer to this interesting book.
In Endless Summer Nights, both Shelly and Dune need a place of quiet - her to plan a party; him to finish his marine conservation proposal. Her sunshine personality ruffles his grumpy one. After a storm, they end up co-chairing the beach clean up. I loved watching Shelly break through Dune's walls and actually help him with his conservation efforts.

Great series with quick to read stories and fun extras. I like how the characters in each story have some issue that can be resolved and dealt with by the end of the story. Fun beach romances that are perfect for a hot summer day.

This is a great collection of beach stories where each are a perfect length to read in a few short hours. Each story can be read as a stand alone even though there is some crossover of characters. These stories are short and complete and have a wonderful laid back summer feel to them. I originally read each book as it came out so having them all in one collection is great. It's easy to binge read these stories. There's also lots of surfing information and I found out from the author that she loves to surf.

This collection includes:

We Go Together:
I loved the characters and how they got an unexpected second chance to be together. Dee Dee and Sunny were so different but they had made a deep connection when she spent a year living with her grandmother and going to HS. They wanted a happy ending to their HS romance but he knew the reality of their differences, she was modern royalty and he was a laid-back surfer. So Sunny broke up with her. But he never forgot her and she never forgot him.

When Dee Dee comes back to the area ten years later to be a bridesmaid in her cousin's wedding, she wants a release from the plans her mother has forced her into. The marriage to a man she doesn't even like and her role as a modern royal member are choking her. When she finds out that her mother never told her that her grandmother left her the house she spent that special year in, she needs to do something drastic. Stealing a car to drive to the beach, falling asleep in the sun and getting a bad sunburn and waking up to see her former boyfriend Sunny is just the start of her rebelling against her mother's plans.

Will Dee Dee fight for the love that was denied her years before or will she go along with the plans of her mother?

The One I Want:
This one is about a second chance at love between two of the town's rebels. They had dated in HS and talked about a future when he decided to enlist in the military leaving her behind. Katy never left the town even though her family has a terrible reputation. She runs a motorcycle repair shop and spends as much time as she can surfing. It's been ten years since she saw Rocco and now he's back taking care of his sister's two children.

Their second chance comes about when Katy needs a boyfriend to stop her grandmother from pestering her. She figures that Rocco owes her for the grief he caused her, so she asked him to be her fake boyfriend. Soon it's obvious that the chemistry is still very much alive between them. Will these two get a second chance at love?

Hopelessly Devoted:
Their romance had started back in HS with Bea and Finn which they had to keep secret. Their families were business rivals and on graduation day- Bea's life as an heiress went from riches to rags as her parents were arrested for something underhanded in their business. Finn's father was the one who turned them into the police. After that graduation night, she never heard from Finn again.

Bea has had to rebuild her life and the drastic change she went through helped her become a better person. She is back in town because she inherited a bridal shop from her aunt. When Finn comes in with who she assumed was his very demanding fiance, he didn't seem to recognize her. What she didn't know is that he is hiding that an accident he had wiped his memory of a huge chunk of his past.

When Bea finds out that Finn doesn't have a fiance and that he also doesn't remember her, she decides to help him regain his memory by taking him to many of the places they had enjoyed as they secretly dated in HS.

Will Bea and Finn have a chance at a relationship that's not a secret?

Endless Summer Nights:
This story is fun when two very different people rent the same home for a few weeks. Somehow the booking agent rented the two bedroom house to both of them and with nothing else available to rent they will have to figure out how to live together. Shelley has a sunny personality and Dune is quite the grump.
Will Shelly's sunny personality help Dune to let down the walls he put up around his life?

I received a copy of this book from the author and this is my honest unbiased review.

Grease fans will be in heaven. I have hummed these classic songs for the past two days. Four bite sized stories set in Palisade Shores with four different couples make the perfect pool or beach reach. You can almost feel the ocean breeze and the smell the suntan oil.

We Go Together

What do a duchess and a surfer/lifeguard have in common? Nothing except one swoony summer from the past that neither one has ever forgotten.

Sunny and Dee Dee are the perfect pair, but her royal title has gotten in the way. Dee Dee is not happy with her royal duties and future husband being forced on her, so she runs away from a wedding. Instead of runway bride, she is a runaway bridesmaid.

Dee Dee is a little felonious in her escape and does not seem to care that she has on a bridesmaid dress when she goes to the beach. When Sunny rescues her, it is obvious this was divine intervention.

Sweetness is the first word that comes to mind when I think of this sweet short story and how everything came together for this sweet couple.

The One I Want

Katy and Rocco's second chance romance was definitely necessary and needed, whether either one wanted to admit it or not.

There were some really funny scenes, especially involving Rocco's niece and nephew and a dog named Tugger.

Prepare to laugh and smile a lot. Katy is quite a pill. One of my favorite scenes was when Rocco wanted a cup of coffee, and she told him they were out, with a full pot in full view behind her. It was meant to be because they just keep running across one another, much to Katy's disgust. Rocco was quite the sweetheart with his big heart.

Hopelessly Devoted

This is Bea and Finn's story, and it might be the most special story of all of the ones included in the SoCal Summer Kisses.

Bea sells wedding dresses for a living, but can't seem to find her Mr. Right. Finn was always her secret crush in high school, but now his memory loss has clouded some of those memories. Bea does not know it, but they are about to be mortal enemies.

Bea's kindness and patience with Finn was so touching. Their family rivalry has made things hard for these two, but Bea was determined to remind Finn about all of the things that made this community special. The chemistry is sizzling without the spice.

This sweet, short story will lift your spirits and put a smile on your face.

Endless Summer Nights

Oh my, my this swoony story will get your blood pumping. A double booking at a beach house puts Dune and Shelly in the same house, and one of them has to go, or least that's what Dune says. Mr. Grumpy Pants does not realize just how much his world is about to rocked with sunshine, glitter and constant chatter.

I loved both of these characters. Shelly was so full of life, and I just knew that Dune would not be able to fully resist her sunshiny charm. Swoon and sweetness.

The great thing about these short stories is that you can read them all at once, or read one and come back and read another one later. It will definitely put you in the mood for summertime.

Thank you to the author for this ARC. I am leaving this review voluntarily.

If you're looking for quick cute short feel good stories, this is the book. 4 stories in one book each story a 5 star! The books have a blend of the classic movie Grease and each chapter being a song title that I absolutely loved. I love the movie Grease and found myself singing the songs! Each chapter ends with a recipe as well from that story!!

1.We Go Together
Dee Dee (Diana) and Sunny's POV

Diana returns to her happy place Palisade Shores, CA before her mom takes complete control over the direction of her life and has her marry a man who is unfaithful as Diana is royalty. While in Palisade Shores, Diana runs into a blast from the past, Sunny, the man she never forgot. Sunny never thinking he'd see Diana again now wonders if this could be their second chance.

2.The One I Want
Katy & Rocco’s POV

Rocco is Katy's blast from the past who shows up back in town. He was once the guy she got into trouble and dreamed of having a life long relationship with. Until he left her behind upon graduating high school. Katy's grandmother expects her birthday gift to be that Katy is in a committed relationship to Katy it seems Rocco is the only one she can think of to fill the role. Rocco regrets the way he left things with her and is ready to jump to her aid when she needs his help.

3.Hopelessly Devoted
Bea & Finn’s POV

Bea is running a bridal boutique when her secret long crush walks into her shop with another women. Could he now be engaged?!? Finn had a previous injury that has caused him to lose some memories and has just been going with the flow since his accident. When Finn meets with Bea it gives him a sense of rightness that he is determined to pursue that feeling to find more of what he’s been missing. Bea is more then happy to help him walk down memory lane and reconnect.

4.Endless Summer Nights
Shelly & Dune’s POV

Shelly rents a beach house to make preparations for her upcoming Aunt's retirement party without the secret getting out. When Shelly gets to the rental she discovers that someone else is already moved in. He’s the grumpiest guy she has met. Dune is focused on getting his marine conservation proposal completed with all the research he’s going to gather but things start to look less quiet than he hoped when he discovers that Shelly is standing in the rental. Realizing the Airbnb has doubled booked the rental and no other rentals available and neither one willing to leave, they decide to be roommates.

I liked how each chapter brought in all the previous characters and how they lives intertwined with each other.

Thank you to Ellie Hall and World Nerd Authors for allowing me to be part of this book traveling tour!

This collection is the ultimate shore thing (pun intended) for beach-read lovers craving heartwarming, clean, sun-swept romance. Ellie Hall’s talent for crafting swoony, feel-good moments in bite-size narratives made me want to pack a cooler, grab a towel, and never leave Palisade Shores. If you want romance that’s sweet, carefree, and carries more sun rays than drama clouds, this is your perfect pick.

4/5 stars - These stories are irresistibly delightful, the very short length means if you’re craving deep character arcs or high drama, you might feel a little like “just when I’m loving it… it’s over!” Still, that’s exactly the charm for summer snack reads—pure, breezy joy.

In We Go Together, Royalty Diana is feeling trapped by the wedding she’s in and the one that is arranged for when she runs and ends up having to be rescued by her lifeguard ex Sunny. Her grandmother sounds like a wonderful person who liked to create fun popsicles I wouldn’t mind trying. She left Diana a chance at a different life with the house where she spends the summer reconnecting with Sunny. There wasn’t a lot of drama except for the running away and I was surprised her mother didn’t make things more difficult for her.

In The One I Want, Katy and Rocco were high school troublemakers and sweethearts, but they both pushed each other away when he joined the military. Now he’s back being his sister’s nanny for the summer while he figures out his next steps when he reconnects with Katy, and she asks him to be her fake boyfriend. Her family is dysfunctional, but her grandmother is a riot. I loved the escapee dog she was watching who wanted to be with Rocco.

In Hopelessly Devoted, Finn and Bea’s story is a second chance family rivals amnesia romance. He ghosted Bea right before her family’s ruination was brought on by his. So I could understand if she had some resentment. But she helps him remember his past and rediscover why he liked their small beach town to prevent his family from destroying her business and several others. I agree chocolate is a good cure for most things and her cake sounds scrumptious.

In Endless Summer Nights upbeat Shelly is doubled booked on a rental cottage with grumpy surfer and marine biologist Dune while she plans a retirement party for her godmother Pinky and co-chairs a beach cleanup event with him. He doesn’t agree with her optimism at first, but she gets a lot more volunteers to sign up for the event than he ever could, and he quickly falls for her yummy food and kissable smiling lips.

Shore Thing: SoCal Summer Kisses Collection by Ellie Hall is a collection of four romantic comedies that happen on the shore of a small coastal town in California. Each sweet story builds on the last, but is also a stand-alone.

I absolutely enjoyed these delightful stories. They had great banter, chemistry and sweet romance. The characters were engaging, the setting a delight, and I enjoyed reading each story. There were many fun references to the movie Greece, surf vibes and visits from royalty. My vacation was better because I read these great stories. Truly a highlight of summer for me.

I highly recommend Shore Thing by Ellie Hall. These delightful stories will bring you joy, summer vibes all year, and you will love the sweet romance. Shore Thing is available on Kindle Unlimited.

I was given a complimentary copy and not required to write a positive review.

What a treasure book of summer fun! 4 yummy stories in a beach town that is what I dream of finding for real! I am hard pressed to say which one I liked best...each had delightful characters, sweet small town charm, and enchanting love stories. But perhaps my favorite is Hopelessly Devoted. I love a story where there's memory loss. Fun to see how the process of helping a person recover their memory is handled. This book's solution was the best I've ever read!
All four books are engaging, intertwined, and sweetly romantic. I loved them all!

This is a delightful boxset with four cute quick read summer romances that can each be read as standalones and each will enchant the reader. The stories are all different, set in the same beachside town and have some overlapping characters. The beach vibes and summer loving are delightful and I am sure everyone will recognise the film references. The characters are well formed and likeable and the stories are just so enjoyable and fun.

This collection of four interconnected stories was the perfect light summer read! Set in an adorable beach town, each story features a fun, clean romance with its own unique storyline while blending seamlessly into the larger community. I loved how the characters and stories connected in a way that felt natural without taking away from each couple’s journey. If you’re looking for a sweet, easy, feel-good beach read, this is a great choice.

Delightful

I absolutely loved these 4 delightful stories! The references to Grease are a fun addition, and I always enjoy seeing characters return in later stories. Sweet, light-hearted reads (but not without issues and baggage) will leave you saying, "Awwww...🥰😍"

Highly recommend!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Shore Thing is a compilation of all four SoCal Summer Kisses books. The author has also added some bonus material and included a fun recipe for each story. I love that the author included a town map. You don’t see enough of them in contemporary books and it’s always a welcome addition. All of the stories in Shore Thing are closed-door.

Shore Thing has a little bit of something for everyone. Each book has different tropes but they blend together well as a series.

This sweet collection of beach reads is perfect for any sunny day outing (or maybe a rainy indoor day while hoping for warmer weather).

Ellie Hall is one of my go-to authors for a quick, sweet read. I can’t wait to see what she has next for her readers.

A small batch of closed door romance reads. They were all kind of cute and fluffy, set in a California beach town and each story is a mini novella if you’re looking for something quick and light to read.

I thought these were only okay, I kind of wish Ellie had taken each and fleshed them out into full fledged novels.
