What a phenomenal sequel to one of my top reads of 2024!
Jade Nioma has crafted worlds full of celestial and cosmic magic. The writing is exquisite and lyrical and truly heart-wrenching at times. I could re-read quotes and feel transported right to the moment in the book… and still have an emotive reaction. I gasped, cried, and held onto my kindle as I ached for Sima and Enzo!
I think the most beautiful part of this is seeing where Sima is in her journey of healing from trauma. And I sincerely appreciate seeing her varying emotions. Trauma is not erased with a flip of a switch. She will be strong, but she will fall. She will get back up, but will be unsure of herself. Sima’s strength(besides her badass magic) is her ability to feel. To stand up for others, and to never give up, no matter how bleak it may be.
I cannot wait for release day so I can have this trophy on my shelf.

ARC review~ Fate's Favor takes us into the aftermath of the events of Fate's Tether and what happens next in Cosima and Vincenzo's stories. Cosmia is now an agent of the Eternal Kingdom charged with hunting down the remaining brothers of the Sacred Twelve in order to prove that she is innocent of the crimes she is accused of. Fate's Favor takes us away from Haelos and into fantastical worlds full of beasts, creatures and humanoids alike along with dangerously charismatic antagonists whilst having Cosmia, Vincenzo and Ivo each fighting their own inner demons (literal in one case) to find their purpose and place in a situation that can end disastrously at every turn, all in the name of fighting for freedom. Jade puts all of her heart and soul into every character and detail and its clear that this novel is a labor of that love.

Fate’s Favor is everything I could want in a sequel and more. Jade Nioma takes the strong foundation of Fate’s Tether and expands it into something truly epic—more action, more emotion, more heart. The world is whimsical yet dangerous, filled with angels, witches, immortals, and creatures that feel both fantastical and real.
What impressed me most was how seamlessly Nioma balanced breathtaking battles with deeply human struggles. The fight scenes are cinematic and intense, but it’s the characters—their vulnerabilities, loyalties, and forbidden loves—that kept me turning pages long past midnight. I loved seeing new dimensions to Enzo and Cosmia while also being introduced to fresh characters that fit so naturally into the story’s growing universe.

So privileged to be able to read this early and let me tell you... the first book is great but this...this is wild! I loved getting to see a side of Enzo we didn't get to see in book one. The world this is set in is whimsical and unique.
Fast-paced, action-packed, and I was truly invested in the outcome for these characters. We also got to meet some pretty interesting new characters as well.
I'm truly impressed with Jade's stories and writing. What a beautiful tale of perseverance and strength in times of adversity.

Loved this second instalment of The Frayed Threads Series by Jade!
"The one who painted murals over bloodshed, the one who created life where there has only been desolation"
The writing is gorgeous and just as with the first book, the world building is beautiful.
The characters were so lovable (heartbreaking at times in the best way)
The story was gripping and when I did have time to read I really couldn't put it down. I can't wait until the next book I need to know what happens next!

I'm lucky enough to be an Arc reader & felt privileged to read this ahead of time. The only negative was that some of the battle parts went on a little too long for me, but other than that, I loved it. We got to see so many more sides to the characters, plus the introduction of new characters was fantastic. I loved the way the story flowed & it will drive me crazy waiting for the 3rd instalment. I feel envious of people who discover this wonderful author when all 3 books are out & they can gobble them all up quickly.

All gas no brakes in this incredible sequel. I do not posses Jade's way with words so bear with me with this review. 😅 With new groups of characters and new places visited there truly is never a dull moment. Cosima will always be one of my favorite FMCs, her strength is admirable and I can't wait to see where the next book takes her. What a truly beautiful and heartbreaking story. Absolutely chomping at the bit for the next one!

Oh my god!! I was expecting emotions but not that many! The celestial world-building, Cosima's healing journey, the alliances, the beautiful writing - just everything had me in a chokehold from the first chapter. I cannot, and I say this again, CANNOT wait for Book 3 to come out!

I enjoyed every minute of this book! I felt so lucky to receive the ARC, but unfortunately life made it difficult to finish. I slowly but surely did, and was drawn into so many elements of the story.
Ivo’s story became my favorite because she was a relatable character just wanting to help and fit in. Her enemies to lovers storyline drew me in so fast. I kept saying, “just kiss already”.
Vincenzo and Cosima went against all love but their love didn’t falter.
The new characters, violence, romance, and world building in this story had me in awe the entire time.
I will read anything Jade writes 🫶.

This is the second of the Fates and I was privileged to get an early release, and what can I say except it was amazingly written, you have a fantasy series, it has action, angels, witches, immortals, magic and forbidden love I loved Enzo and Sima in book one but in this book you saw a whole new side to Enzo, this is truly an amazing book so glad I got to read it

Truly epic.
Fate’s Tether was a fantastic and fresh debut on the modern fantasy genre. Wholly original with grand characters and grander worlds, with a purpose and message everyone can rally behind.
And then there’s Fate’s Favor, which gives FT a pat on the head and say, “good job, now watch how it’s REALLY done.” And WOW.
Holy cow.
I mean for real.
Fate’s Favor is everything you need in a sequel. It constantly builds and builds and builds on the foundation of the original. Ever expanding the scope of its epic story without over becoming too convoluted that it crashes in on itself. The magic system is so intricate and inviting. The action is like watching that scene in into the spider verse where the multiverse machine is going crazy and the world and colors are losing it, but the fighting is so smooth and fun to follow. It gets bizarre in a wild way that just keeps the pages turning.
With her prose, Nioma is able to seamlessly blend modern and high fantasy dialogue that gives her universe a distinct characteristic. It’s casual when it needs to be, and can shift to moments of these highly poetic professions of both love and wrath without ever being jarring.
It’s a long one but never does it dull.
In short, read the damn book.

This book picks up with Cosima and Vincenzo after the chaos of Fate's Tether, and things never slow down. Fate's Favor is a wild ride that goes in directions I never could have predicted. I loved getting to learn more about Ivo and Vincenzo, while also watching Cosima begin the difficult process of healing from her past trauma. The atmosphere may be anything but calm, but that only makes her journey all the more powerful.
Having completely forgotten that this is a trilogy, I am so devastated that I need to wait for the next book. I absolutely love spending time in this world with these characters, and I can't wait to see where this story goes next!

Loved the first one and loved this one! While reading I really felt like I was transported into the book, which major props to Jade of course!! Cosmia and Enzo are absolutely perfect, I love themmm! Fates Favor has everything you could want from a fantasy - fast-paced, wonderful world building, action-packed, romantic, just pure beauty! A definite recommend!!

Once again, Jade Nioma has outdone herself with Cosima and Enzo's world. I could get lost in these dreamy, luxurious cloud worlds forever. I adored this book, honestly equally as much as I did the first. I found the introduction of our new characters and POV's invigorating, particularly loved our fiery trine scout. And the intrigue--we know after Fate's tether there is going to be ALOT going for poor Cosima and Enzo, but trust me, you won't see all this coming. Love love love meeting the sacred twelve. There's more adventure. More beautiful worlds. More exciting character developments and backstories. And we aren't done yet. Can't even wait to see where this world goes next!!
