Store manager Brinn meets Davis while he is last minute, Christmas gift shopping. Something sparks and word to word - they agree to spend Christmas Eve together since they have no other plans for the evening. One night turns out to be not enough and what was supposed to be one night stand turns into a month and then turns into.... well, I won't tell, you have to read it yourself, I promise, you won't regret.
Both characters were very lovable. Brinn was witty, smart and sexy. Davis, though seemed a little emotionally unattainable initially, was cuddly, not to mention deliciously hawt and dirty.
They were damn spicy together. I loved their sexy banter and the dirty talking (a lot of!), sometimes I was thinking - wow, the things that come out of their mouths:) Sex was panty melting and ovaries exploding hot. Beside the bedroom part, the story was very nice and sweet.
Overall, this was very cute, light and sexy Christmas story. If you feel like spending some nice time with lovely couple and some super steam, this one is simply perfect.

He was so adorable, he made it clear in the beginning, he doesn't want more than sexy times, but the things he did, proved him wrong every time. I just want me some Davis. Period.

This book just hit the spot for me.
A light on angst, sweet and sexy read!
This is not my first Christmas romance, but it's definitely going on my naughty & nice list! What I have come to learn about Christmas themed romances is that for the most part they tend to be very easy and entertaining reads. You aren't going to have your mind blown but you will find enjoyment while reading them.
Brinn is a retail store manager who meets a handsome stranger one night while closing shop. He's desperate to get a last minute Christmas gift and she ends up having a heart and letting him come in after store hours to pick out a gift. They end up having fun flirting. One thing leads to another and Brinn is being invited over for a Christmas Eve dinner date at Davis' place. She has just recently broken up with her cheating ex boyfriend and Davis seems like a nice distraction. Davis can offer her some fun and panty melting sexy times but he makes it clear he is not a relationship man.
We've read countless books with this scenario and so it's not like you're going to be surprised by all that goes on and how it ends. Yet I still enjoyed reading this story. I loved every single panty melting sexy time scene. So sue me for being a little pervy!!!
There is an HEA and it was oh so sweet.
I recommend this book if you're looking for a short read filled with entertaining Holiday Cheer and Smut!!

This story is perfect the season. It's a quick, sexy and sweet read with two likable characters. Brinn and Davis meet on Christmas Eve when Davis attempts to purchase a last minute gift and they get hot and heavy all night long.
”Tonight fell into strictly-for-fun land – a place she’d heard about but never visited.”
Their attraction is strong and the one night turns into a month where they get to know one another and make decisions about their careers.

Gift wrapped was a really fun & sweet read! It wasn't what I expected, but it was even more and even better.
This is the story of Davis and Brinn. They meet one night and the click instantly. They decide to spend Christmas Eve together. They're both single , with no one expecting them at home, so why not? Especially if it's only for one night, like Davis always wanted. He makes it clear that he doesn't do relationships and she shouldn't have expectations & Brinn's transfer to another city in about a month makes her say yes and they get instantly on fire.
I think that Gift Wrapped was a really entertaining read, perfect for this time of the year, with funny, sweet and sexy moments. :)

5 - "Watching you beat your meat is really hot." Stars!
Once again Karla Doyle doesn't disappoint, this time with a sexy tale that whets the reader’s appetite for the forthcoming season, as well as leaving a damp patch elsewhere! Just sayin'
It is no secret that I am a massive fan of this authors work, so having her release something of a Christmassy nature makes me happy as it means I can go back and read it year after year.
Brinn and Davis are the kind of characters that you can’t help but like - down to earth, pretty regular, and within the realms of believability. This isn’t a book full of angst and over the top drama, it is a well thought out, brilliantly verbal, emotional and perfectly written romance story for someone looking to add a little Christmas magic and sparkle to their regular reading list.
”I’m not free,” … “But I accept manual, oral and penetrative forms of payment.”
The story starts at Christmas and ends at Christmas (2 different ones) but a whole lot happens in-between. I think this is where Karla’s skill really shines, as nothing feels rushed, the characters and the plot are fully developed and the secondary characters are relevant and well integrated into the storyline as a whole.

Following so many meh and dnfs lately, this was exactly what I needed. I loved everything: the fun heroine, the sexy swoony hero, the dirty talking (lots of it!), loved them as a couple, great banter as well as plenty of sexy time.
So it was predictable, it was on the short side and there was a couple misunderstandings I could have done without but none of those I felt were good enough reason to deduct a star. I loved it!!!

4.5 Panties melted, Heart stolen stars
This was my first book by Karla Doyle and I loved it! It was just what I was in the mood for. My title sums it up, it was hot, sexy, sweet, and funny. It's one of those books that leaves you with a cheesy smile on your face because it was just that enjoyable. The perfect romantic holiday read.
So, Brinn is a retail store manager working on Christmas eve. She is depressed after a bad break-up and is happy to be working to keep her mind off of it. Her last customer is Davis, a hottie with dimples who ends up being the last minute Christmas gift she picks up. I loved their banter and chemistry. Did I mention he is a professional chef? I was a little jealous of Brinn, I wouldn't mind playing in his kitchen with his "really big whisk" wink wink.
The fortune cookies were just adorable, as if I wasn't already in love with him,
I was in a huge book slump when I picked this up, so I'm looking forward to trying out more of Ms. Doyle's novels!
I think my smut loving friends will be happy with this one, and it's a stand-alone with a great epilogue. Thanks to the ladies from the br :)

Brinn and Davis met when he’s last minute shopping in Christmas, after being the victim of a heist.
Brinn is sick of unkind costumers and recently found out that her boyfriend was a cheater, so she isn’t exactly in the mood for people who just remembered to buy presents, and makes her opinion pretty clear. But Davis loves her quirkiness and they end having a hot affair that goes beyond the festivities.
They both want a non-strings relationship, but what they are getting, is pretty far from it. But at least they’re enjoying the hot ride.
I needed a light, funny and steamy book and was recommended this one. I have to say I was not disappointed. It delivered exactly what I was expecting, the heroes were nice without making much drama and the writing was easy-flowing. If you are in one of those days you need something that isn’t overly dramatic and angst and is steamy and romantic, this is the book for you. A pretty good holiday read.

Who doesn’t love a good Christmas story? If you are like me and love Christmas stories, especially a story who has everything, you certainly don’t want to miss this one. “Gift Wrapped” was such a sweet, sexy and funny story. It was everything I hoped and wanted to be!
Brynn and Davis are too people who aren’t looking forward to Christmas.Both of them don't want a relationship or love. Too bad, cause this Christmas they will find all that and more.
Brynn is a store manager. She’s more than frustrated with every aspect of her life. Not only she sacrificed her career to be with a guy, but she will be alone this Christmas, since her ex is a cheating douchebag. What she doesn’t know is this Christmas she will get the most wonderful gift. Davis is a 35 years old chef. He hates Christmas, especially this year. An event in his life will led him to Brynn, who will make him love this wonderful holiday and change him forever.
What was supposed to be a Christmas Eve date becomes a Christmas date too. But two dates are not enough for either of them and they agree to spend one month together. Everything feels right between them, but Brynn has to move soon to another town for her new job.
Davis knows everything about Brynn screams steady girlfriend. He doesn’t want one of those, even one as sexy as Brynn and Brynn knows Davis is not interested in a permanent relationship and he doesn’t have steady girlfriends. But what happen when you can’t help falling in love?
Love this one!! Both Brynn and Davis are great characters and very lovable. Brynn is funny, smart, beautiful. Davis was just perfect – handsome, funny, sexy, great in the kitchen and great in bed. I loved the way they are with each other and how everything between them progressed. They chemistry is palpable, the sex innuendos fantastic and the sex so hot. The epilogue was perfect...sigh..

Davis and Brinn meet at her store on Christmas Eve just as Brinn is closing up. Davis needs to buy a Christmas gift but Brinn turns him away...at first. And keeping in the Christmas spirit, she decides to help him out and ends up with a Christmas Eve date!
Okay, so let's cut to the chase...this book has a ton of sex and they go at it right from the get-go. In fact, there's almost all sex and no story...that is, until forty percent. Seriously, it was almost my first DNF but my BR'ers saved it...thank you!
So luckily, there is some plot and it starts off with Davis getting to know Brinn's family and for Brinn finding out why Davis doesn't have contact with his. It gives a lot of explanations for why they both are the way they are.
Brinn has recently been burned by an ex and she's not willing to repeat things. Davis isn't looking for anything serious so when Brinn's job transfer comes in, they decide to enjoy each other for the thirty days they have before she moves.
There's a few things that happen to them that make them realize the depth of their feelings for each other. They can never just come together and work things out.
Davis is an interesting character and I enjoyed his history. I loved how his being a chef played into the various dinners and attempts at teaching Brinn how to make homemade pudding. ;)
Brinn was used to being the good girl but Davis brought out her naughty side. I think that worked out well for the two of them.
As far as the Christmas element goes, I wish there was more. They do get together at Christmas but the book spans the whole next year. I did learn about a new Christmas tradition...I had never heard of Christmas crackers before!
I loved how things were resolved and the epilogue was really sweet. Davis is quite the romantic.
Overall, not a bad read but not an amazing one either but it's fairly short (222 pages) and when you get passed the forty percent mark, it's worth it.

Davis and Brinn meet at her store on Christmas Eve just as Brinn is closing up. Davis needs to buy a Christmas gift but Brinn turns him away...at first. And keeping in the Christmas spirit, she decides to help him out and ends up with a Christmas Eve date!
Okay, so let's cut to the chase...this book has a ton of sex and they go at it right from the get-go. In fact, there's almost all sex and no story...that is, until forty percent. Seriously, it was almost my first DNF but my BR'ers saved it...thank you!
So luckily, there is some plot and it starts off with Davis getting to know Brinn's family and for Brinn finding out why Davis doesn't have contact with his. It gives a lot of explanations for why they both are the way they are.
Brinn has recently been burned by an ex and she's not willing to repeat things. Davis isn't looking for anything serious so when Brinn's job transfer comes in, they decide to enjoy each other for the thirty days they have before she moves.
There's a few things that happen to them that make them realize the depth of their feelings for each other. They can never just come together and work things out.
Davis is an interesting character and I enjoyed his history. I loved how his being a chef played into the various dinners and attempts at teaching Brinn how to make homemade pudding. ;)
Brinn was used to being the good girl but Davis brought out her naughty side. I think that worked out well for the two of them.
As far as the Christmas element goes, I wish there was more. They do get together at Christmas but the book spans the whole next year. I did learn about a new Christmas tradition...I had never heard of Christmas crackers before!
I loved how things were resolved and the epilogue was really sweet. Davis is quite the romantic.
Overall, not a bad read but not an amazing one either but it's fairly short (222 pages) and when you get passed the forty percent mark, it's worth it.

Gift Wrapped was my first holiday theme book ever, I usually tend to stay away from those, because I always feared they be cheesy, well, I was wrong, at least this one was light, sexy and yet very meaningful. Highly entertaining and well written, Brinn and Davis story was like a cup of hot cocoa, sweet, indulging and very, very hot!! I loved it and I must thank my beautiful bestie Patty T., for always recommending me the best reads, Love you Boo! I will take a page out of my best friend's book and strongly recommend for everyone to read this book that will surely leave a big smile on your face. Happy Holidays Everyone!!!

This was a fun, holiday inspired read.... woman who was dumped... needs to feel good about herself, career and indulge in something for herself. Man who has always been a hit'em and leave'em happy guy with a painful past buried deep... collide on Christmas Eve and both of them connect on a level not intended...
It was lots of terrific banter and sexy talk...lots of intense times between them physically... and there was some sweet, real things that needed to be addressed... she standing up for herself and not sacrificing for the eternal dream of the perfect relationship...he confronting his family and forgiving. This was a very fast read and overall a happy time was had by all.

This was the best holiday romance I've read this year! Sometimes they're filled with too much sex and little story, but this was fleshed out nicely, giving us a solid background on Davis and Brinn. This was very hot, sexy, sweet and with just a little drop of angst to make it a great book worth reading anytime of year. Davis was such a great guy, having commitment issues stood in the way of having Brinn permanently, but I'm so glad he finally realized how lucky he was and made the changes necessary to make him happy.
Brinn was so sweet, I really liked her. Breaking out of her shell to be with Davis may have been risky to her heart, but fantastic for her long term future. And a man that can cook? And I don't mean opening up a can of store bought pasta sauce and pouring it over boiled spaghetti! Davis was a talented chef and that alone made him sexy as sin.
I loved so much about this book from the family dynamics, the witty banter, hilarious dirty bedroom talk and well done sexy time. But the best was watching Davis and Brinn fall for each other. Listening to your heart and actually following it was hard for both of them, but Davis and Brinn deserved their HEA and I loved seeing them achieve it. I know Christmas is over but honestly, if you're looking for a late season festive romance, give this a chance. Give it a chance regardless, loved it!

This is a smut. Funny, cute, sexy and lots of dirty talks.
I like the hero and heroine too.
But to me, that’s all. Nothing exciting me other than all the dirty talks.
The dirty talks are all so damn hot
BUT unfortunately I find the ‘main course’ is not as hot as the foreplay..
The sex scenes didn’t make me squirm.. LOL
This is a quick read and not to much drama. But too bad it's written in 3rd person POV.. I'm not a big fan of 3rd person POV books

I LOVE this book! It's fun, unique & oh-so-hot!!! It also features an awesome hero AND a wonderful heroine (a rarity these days, in this particular genre). ;) I appreciated their honesty & how forthcoming they were. I also loved that there wasn't any OTT drama. It was just very good storytelling & a VERY GOOD TIME!!! :)

OMG! I need a shower. A very cold shower. Fuck me! I'm jealous of a fictitious character. You would be too if you read "Gift Wrapped." The sex is off-the-chart, panty-melting, sizzling hot! Sure there were times I giggled. I even bit my lower-lip a couple of times. Regardless, that didn't stop me from crossing my legs tightly all the while fanning myself. I loved both Davis and Brinn, two people who most-definitely complimented one-another. I especially loved the banter that flowed between them. Davis certainly delivers when it comes to satisfying a woman in and out of the kitchen in more ways than one. I thought my Kindle was going to blow a circuit. Without question, the author gives her readers two fun-loving, sexually-charged characters full of heat and passion; and with plenty of sexual escapades full of eroticism without having to pass the line at being crude. Without a doubt, "Gift Wrapped" is a holiday must-read - any holiday. It's a fun flirty story full of fluffy snow. By the way, I loved the Epilogue. Nicely done.

4 I Never knew Christmas could be so naughty stars! ☆☆☆☆
This was exactly what I needed to end my holiday reading! Brinn and Davis meet on Christmas Eve and sparks start to fly. Something about this hit all the right notes for me. At first I wasn't quite sure if I'd like it because it just seemed like continuous wheel of just sex (which I'm not complaining about since I like a lot of hot steamy moments), but I always want to go deeper and know my characters a bit more. And after about 40% my wish was granted! I got to understand Brinn and Davis. What drives and motivates them.
This is a cute little dirty talking Christmas read (the only turnoff was the constant swearing...I'm not a big fan of too much of it), but it's light on angst and heavy on sex. And sometimes that's all you need.

This was a great Christmas story. I really liked both Brinn and Davis and I really enjoyed their story overall and loved the ending.
Brinn is a store manager and a nice lady. She lives a couple hours away from her family whom she loves a lot. She moved to the area she's living in now for a guy. A guy who she broke up with after she found him cheating on her a couple of weeks before.
Davis is a chef and a good guy. He grew up in a family of lawyers. His family expected him to follow in their footsteps and become a lawyer as well but he couldn't take being a lawyer. Things didn't go well when he left the family business and became a chef. Davis decided that any type of relationships were just a recipe for disaster so he's stayed away from anything serious.
Brinn is closing up the store she manages on Christmas eve when Davis shows up looking for a last minute Christmas gift. Brinn has had a long holiday season and just wants to go home. She gives Davis a bit of a hard time but ultimately is too nice for her own good and ends up agreeing to let him buy something. As they chat the chemistry between them blooms. They both know that they want more time together and when they realize they're both spending the night alone, Davis invites Brinn over to his place for diner and a movie. Brinn is not a "one night stand" type (which she makes clear to Davis) but Davis is charming and hard to resist so she ends up deciding to take him up on the invite.
Their night together is great and it becomes apparent to both of them that they want more time together than just one night. On Christmas morning, something happens that has Davis spending the holiday with Brinn and her family. Since he usually hates the holidays and anything family related, Davis is really surprised to find that this is one of the best Christmases he's ever had. Brinn and Davis agree to spend more time together but Brinn already asked her manager for a transfer to a different store in the area so they know there's an end date to their relationship. Regardless of this, they both develop some pretty heavy feelings for each other while she's still in town. There are some issues that makes it difficult for them to continue their relationship, even when they both want to. I will note that there's a bit of angst in the story but it's not too bad. In the end, there's a happy reunion and Brinn and Davis get a very HEA.

Still, his method of fixing things was great and I loved the changes he made and the reunion he set up for them. Overall, I had no major complaints and I thought this was a great Christmas romance. I'd recommend it. :D
