Hikaye çok ilerlemese de karakterlere odaklanma imkanı bulduk. İş aksiyona geldiğinde ise günahlardan Gowther'in epey ön planda olduğu ve adeta kişisel şovunu yaptığı bir bölüm oldu. Yeteneklerinin sınırını henüz keşfetmemiş olsak da gördüklerimiz ekibin diğer üyelerinin yeteneklerine nazaran çok daha etkileyiciydi. Dreyfus'un anılarında gezindiği kısmı çok beğendim. Günahlar ve kutsal şövalyeler dışındaki bir önemli karakter olan Arthur Pendragon'u ve yanındaki gizemli büyücüyü umduğumdan az gördük. Önceki cildin sonunda gözüktüğünde bu ciltte daha çok göreceğimi sanmıştım. Onun da parlayacağı kısımlar gelecektir umuyorum.

And we are back with a one topic based volume.
This one tho was better that its past friends.

Even if we follow a single battle it was very dynamic and not boring nor repetitive at all.
There were tons of characters involved this time.
I liked the decision of those little twists here and there and it's always appreciated when there's some character's backstory.

Diane was awesome in here and in every volume I like her more.
The recently Deadly Sins addition was needed too, Gowther is amazing!

What I wish is just for some more story progress, it's super duper slow.
I know the series is pretty long but so far we already had in just nine volumes plenty of fights based ones.

The anime diverges from this volume of the manga in that it removes a scene where Gowther faces Threader of the Dawn Roar again. It's interesting to get Threader's back story and get that little bit of extra information about the characters that the anime cuts out.

It is better than the previous two volumes but in general, I would say it is on the weaker side. To rescue Elizabeth, the Sins attack the capital and fight a bunch of guys. Elizabeth, after 9 volumes, is still a plot device and the part of a cliche damsel in distress idea. Seeing more of Gowther was good and I also liked the introduction of Arthur Pendragon, mainly because I love the figure from legends. It was good overall but it could be much better because of the potential many of these characters have.

“Tanto tempo fa foste voi a dirmi di utilizzare il mio potere soltanto nel momento in cui fossi certo di essere nel giusto. Quel momento è adesso.”

I seven deadly sins hanno attaccato la capitale per riprendersi Elizabeth, per salvare l’amica, Diane si scende in campo tramite il portale di Oslo, il cane folletto di King non apparso dalla disputa tra King e Ban per il fatto che adora la carne di maiale, e da questo momento in poi per tutto il volume diventerà il calvario di Diane che si scontra con numerosi cavalieri sacri potenti tra cui Howzer, Guila, Helbram, Jericho, Gilthurder, e il capoccia delle guardie Dreyfus che le piazza due colpi critici ( uno sopra il seno destro e un colpo alla gamba destra) che feriscono gravemente Diane, intanto Arthur si scontra con Hendrixon con l’Excalibur, la leggendaria spada che nemmeno un cavaliere sacro è riuscita a estrarre dalla roccia dove era conficcata. Diane salva Zeal e cosi Howzer e Guila gli danno man forte e accorre anche Gowther e sembra di avere la meglio su Dreyfus con un colpo che induce incubi, Dreyfus riesce a tornare in dietro con non poca difficoltà e da l’ordine di finire la gigantessa e i due traditori. Diane con le ultime forze rimastagli salva tutti dai fumi veleno di Helbram che con risposta trafigge Diane con una grossa stalattite di ghiaccio. la situazione è critica quando all’improvviso appare King che guardando Diane in quello stato rimane shockato. Questo volume si intitolerebbe Diane il bersaglio mobile, lo guardo e lo riguardo e dico che questo volume è triste perché vedi realmente la cattiveria dei cavalieri sacri e la nobiltà d’animo dei seven deadly sins, e poi vediamo che Diane e King hanno un legame molto stretto.

I have to say, while I complain about the terrible power system and power creep, I am having a lot fun seeing everyone duke it out and show off their powers. Diane really shown in this volume, going above and beyond to protect, fight, and help others. I feel bad hating on her character for the first two volumes but she has become one of my favorites. She doesn't always get to shine, especially in comparison to the men, but when she does she shines brightly. I enjoyed seeing Howzer and Guila turn against the Holy Knights, though I don't buy Guila's sudden shift in personality. She went from arrogant and stoic to emotional and hardcore protector in a short amount of time.

Gowthur's powers are pretty terrifying and he himself can be scary as well, but I like how he tries to be hip and strike poses but speaks in a deadpan tone. I don't quite get his sacred treasure, aside from it looking like energy bows that shoot energy arrows. The problem is that everyone's treasure is tangible and exists without having to be summoned, but Gowthur's seems to be connected to his magic without taking a tangible form. Why I'm bothering to ponder this is beyond me, but I felt the need to put it out there.

Poor King, he looked so heartbroken when he shattered that icicle. And he cried when he saw Diane too! I don't want my baby to suffer, please don't make him suffer!

A cada volumen que pasa esta historia mejora. En esta parte podemos observar batallas emocionantes y más trasfondo sobre Howzer, Guila, Dreyfus y Hendrickson. También tenemos la introducción de un personaje que llevaba un tiempo esperando: Arturo de Pendragón. Apenas es introducido de manera breve pero promete mucho y falta determinar si se aliará con los 7 pecados o con los caballeros sagrados.
Meliodas casi no aparece en este volumen y eso fue bueno, un respiro y una oportunidad para explorar otros personajes. Lo que nos lleva a las buenas escenas protagonizadas por Gowther y Diane. Podemos ver un atisbo más de los poderes de Gowther y son bastante impresionantes. Espero que en el siguiente volumen expliquen más sobre su pasado.
El final me dejó con una sensación de intranquilidad, quiero saber qué sucedió con los 7 pecados capitales.

The manga that was turned into the anime of the same name, volume 9. This book covers the same material as all of episode 17 and most of episode 18.

There is a nice added story about Slader's (Of the Roars of Dawn) origin, and a bit about Gowther being hunted by some Holy Knights in the city of Lioness when Slader interrupts and fights him. Otherwise, it is pretty much the same as the show.

Ecco che la guerra comincia. Mi piace come ogni tanto l'autore decida di andare ad approfondire la storia di un determinato personaggio.

Diane mi è piaciuta particolarmente in questo volume, mentre negli altri non mi stava particolarmente simpatica. Gowther rischia di scalzare Ban dalla testa della mia classifica dei personaggi preferiti.

E arriva persino Arthur Pendragon!

Bon on commence à avoir l'habitude mais oalalala encore la folie dans ce tome. On attaque la capitale, Arthur Pendragon fait une entrée remarquée et certains chevaliers sacrés se rendent compte que les Seven Deadly Sins sont peut être pas les méchants de l'histoire. Enfin bref, vous l'aurez compris on a vraiment pas le temps de s'ennuyer une seconde dans cette saga ! Vite la suite !

Leyendo los tomos anteriores más o menos seguido me he dado cuenta que los finales de los arcos son muy abruptos, están en medio de la acción y pum pasamos a otra cosa.

Hasta ahora están en la búsqueda del resto de componentes del equipo y sus armas, de momento la continuaré ya que es bastante entretenida y divertida.

The story starts to get more interesting. This Liones arc has a lot of action and we continue to see how dangerous are the New Generation of Holy Knights. It is in this novel that Arthur Pendragon, King of Camelot is introduced as well as Merlin, which is a female and this story and Arthur's tutor.

This is what we've been waiting for and it's been very worth it. The motivations and factions are being laid out very well, and the fights have been brilliant although quite short. It's good to see a variety of magical powers. The art was at its best here as well. Chapter 66 is probably the best in the manga so far for this, with at least 4 amazing double spreads.

Absolutely love the anime so figured I would give the manga a shot, and boy was I half I did. The manga is, in my opinion, far superior to the already outstanding anime. If you like the anime and story of The Seven Deadly Sins, give the manga a go, you won't be sorry.

The battles well and truly begin and man they are really good. The build up gor this has been done really well so I'm excited to see it all come into effect now.

Those last few pages were the best of this volume following up with that last panel of King, things are going to get messy for sure!
