*** ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT, LOVED IT !! ***
I really don't know why this series doesn't have more ratings.This is the third full length novel and although it's part of a series,IMO,it could be read as a standalone.Each book in the series is about a different relationship and totally unique.A lot of the time with series you get a similar story re hashed but not here...
So it's a love triangle and there is cheating involved but I actually didn't find it uncomfortable at all.
Alina is dating Davian from an up and coming Rock Band,Ice Steam.She is 19 and has just found out she's pregnant and on the same day she is going to tell Davian,he has some exciting news of his own.His band has been given the big break they were waiting for...to go on Tour for 8 months with established Rock Band,Ninety Miles..She knows that if she tells him about the baby,he won't go and will give up on his dream.So she lets him go not knowing....
They stay close until suddenly he stops all communication with her.She is left devastated with the baby to bring up on her own and then hears the heart breaking news that he's engaged to someone else....
She never stops loving him and when an opportunity to be in the same city as him presents itself,she vows to win him back..
Enter the Sex God that is Xavier ( this man had me swooning all over the place ).He is a member of the Rock Band,Ninety Miles.He wants her and while her plan is to get Davian back,she decides on a bit of fun with Xavier.Along the way feelings change and their relationship develops.There are secrets,lies,betrayal and a tangled web of relationships going on

I cannot rate this book highly enough,it's one of my favourite ever reads.Ends on a bit of a cliffy,she does choose one of them but the stories not finished and I cannot wait for more.
I would highly recommend this series and ESPECIALLY this one!!!!

**I received and ARC in exchange for an honest review**
This book. This BOOK! What an amazing ride. These days, I am a lot more picky when it comes to my reads and have no problem taking a reading break. Not this one. This one I read straight through with no thought to breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I will be honest and say that I went into this book blind, not reading the blurb or the preface. I had no idea what kind of story it was going to be. Let me just say, I was not at all prepared.
The author is kind enough to give you a warning (if you choose to pay attention to it =-)) at the beginning of the book telling you that there is a love triangle (I skipped this part). This author did not write a story that contained flawless, pretty people that make only good choices. On the contrary, she gave us beautifully flawed people, selfish in their wants and needs, and completely unapologetic about it. You find yourself cheering for characters that you would despise in real life. I found myself questioning who I should side with, but I couldn't choose. This author wrote characters that will elicit nearly every emotion: love, heartbreak, off the charts anger, lust, redemption, and jealously just to name a few. It was well paced, balanced, and will leave you wanting more and nearly willing to beg for it. I can't wait to find out where this story goes.

Team Xavier or Team Davian?
A great story with Alina, Davian and Xavier. A couple of really hot badass rock stars what's not to like and who would Alina chose?
Although its a love triangle with cheating the whole story was so good. Lots of angsty moments, will she or won't she and who is the mysterious A? I was so pleased with her choose after what Alina finds out.
I was gripped from the start and really didn't want it to end.
But lets just say I think the best team won and can't wait for the next book.
Loved it and was great to get some more of Saskia, JK and some of the others from past books.
Oh and I loved the forewarning at the beginning of the book Brilliant.

I think Miss Cole had the right plot in mind - in spite of that nasty love triangle - maybe the execution just needed to be tweaked a little. More character development for Alina. And her relationship with XX needed to be more fleshed out especially as it's competing with an all-consuming previous relationship.
I loved Jahleel. I think I could have loved this too. Alina just needed more character development - other than her confusion over the two rock stars in her life. I believe Jahleel worked so well because Saskia Day was bigger-than-life. Yet, she was so funny and downright shameless in her obsession for JK. She was the world's biggest rock star but inside, she was cute and just so lovable.
JK is possibly one of the biggest assholes you will encounter in the book world. His character created most of the angst for Jahleel- what's not to love? While Alina paled in comparison to Saskia. I do think JK and XX are an even match. Well maybe not quite but XX holds up quite well. Can I just complain here though: after all that they've been through, I can't believe that Sassy remains so insecure in her relationship with JK. I guess it is consistent with her character but still, it kind of made me sad for her. I wouldn't want a mushy kind of HEA but how about a little more security in her place in his life?
Back to Ice Steam...Yes there is a love triangle. There was a novella long disclaimer which has stopped me from writing much here in this review because I was forewarned, right? Bottomline is I didn't find it distasteful. Alina had history along with so much baggage with Davi. And can I just say that he's the one I find distasteful? Spineless bastard. I get it this love triangle: sometimes we're stuck on some past not knowing that the present and future has snuck up on us.
When is the conclusion?
I will end with a disclaimer of my own which is completely off-topic...This story was a roller coaster, trainwreck of a ride. I don't think it was intended to be a literary masterpiece nor was Jahleel. But sometimes a book just sucks you in and you're hooked. For the most part, I just want to be entertained for a few hours away from my daily chores. I write this as I just read a pretty hateful review from another indie author (no less) of a recent release that everyone is loving atm, claiming that NA should be so much better-than-that book? Huh? It just reeks of self-importance and downright arrogance. Bottomline is: reviews and opinions are subjective. There is constructive criticism and there is just disdainful/mean/pompous.

Okay, where to start? I devoured this book. It was definitely a stay up late, read straight through kind of book. Let me start off by saying I hate cheating books. I typically won’t read them because it doesn’t usually leave me with a “feel-good” feeling. Saying that, I appreciated the author’s note in the beginning forewarning readers about the type of book they were embarking on and let me say the book definitely is a journey.
I really liked Alina, surprisingly. There were a couple times in the book that I started to question her decision-making skills, but then something would happen or she would say something that put things back on track. She is a perfectly imperfect character, but her heart is in the right place. I think what could have been played on more in terms of the story is we should almost pity her a little more.
The book definitely had angst and it wasn’t long before I was questioning the tangled web of Davian, Xavier, Jessica and Alina. I also liked that the story was very multi-dimensional. She very clearly could have had her hands full with the love triangle, but we still saw her interacting with friends, job, etc.
Oh and the sex definitely toggled between soft and sweet and hot and steamy.
And that ending…it’s a baby cliffie for sure.
Favorite line: “I’m not Jesus,” I replied, voice quiet, “I don’t answer prayers.”

I loved S. Ann Cole's Jaleel, but Ice Steam didn't have that all-consuming obsession and intensity that Jahleel had. I think Ice Steam's problem was that right front the beginning, we were introduced to Alina's relationships with Xavier and Davi without getting to see those relationship unfold. I'm not sure if thats because I didn't read the second book in this series. I just wanted more character development, especially for Alina.

Just had to say how much I enjoyed this book. So much so I was up late reading it in fact. I rarely give 5 stars to books but this book definitely deserves it in my eyes. I love the way the author bases her books on the premise that its not just one person for everyone and sometimes there are tough choices to be made between partners. The characters seem more realistic to me I think due to this. I feel equally torn about the decisions that Alina makes during the book due to their realism. I CAN'T wait for the follow up. Please put me out of my misery soon.

S. ann Cole, you have done it again! After Jahleel's and Sassy's hearth-wrenching story I did't believe I could love a book as much as this one. Xavier and Alina...Davian and Alina...what's a girl to do?? All characters were amazing. Your wrting superb. The only thing that sucks about your book is that I have to wait for the next one.
On another note readers get ready for this tumultuous angstsy ride that will leave you hot, cold, mad, sad, angry, in love, hopeful, fearful, hurt and anxious all at once. Ms. cole, love you something fierce!

When S. Ann Cole called her series, Loving All Wrong, she wasn’t kidding around! Ice Steam delivered all of the angst, all of the heartache, and all of the crazy that I have come to expect and love from her books. If you are looking for a neat and tidy love story, you won’t find it here. This love story is messy, flawed, and complicated.
Alina and Davian were in love. When his band finally got their big break, he begged her to follow him. He didn’t want to give up on their love. But Alina chose to let him go so that he could follow his dream of becoming a rock star. She didn’t want him to miss this golden opportunity and resent her down the road. They thought that their love could endure, could conquer the distance between them. He promised to wait for her, to come back to her…but he lied.
Alina’s life has changed dramatically since Davian left, but the one thing that hasn’t changed is her love for him. Davian has moved on, he’s engaged, and he has made his dream a reality. Alina still longs for Davian and what they used to have. She doesn’t understand how he could just throw her away as though she meant nothing to him. But Alina has a plan to move to Los Angeles and try and get close to Davi again, to win him back. What Alina doesn’t plan on is falling for another man while she’s there.
Xavier is the guitarist for Ninety Miles, the band that Ice Steam opens for. He has had a texting relationship with Alina for several months and is elated to have her in Los Angeles. Alina is attracted to the larger than life guitarist and finds herself torn between her feelings for him and for Davian. The chemistry between Xavi and Alina is definitely electrifying. But although she is getting mixed up with Xavier, she is still in love with Davi. Mm hmm…things get very complicated.
Davian still confesses to love Alina, but he doesn’t want to end his relationship with his fiancée. He also doesn’t want Alina involved with Xavier. There is so much tension, so many lies, so many secrets and betrayals that I honestly didn’t know who I should or could trust. There are many players in this wicked game of love, people who are meddling in their affairs of the heart and body.
Alina is faced with a decision. Which man will she choose? She has a history with one man, but the other could be her future. Hearts will inevitably get broken.
Ice Steam is a fast-paced read that kept my rapt interest throughout. It is filled with colorful characters that you will either love or hate…or love to hate. I also enjoyed being reacquainted with some of the characters from the previous books in this series. I am looking forward to seeing where the author will take their story from here.

I am stunned to log on here and find so few reviews under this book. It's a shame because second to Jahleel this is the authors next best work. I was stealing time between work to sneak read, and stayed all night just to finish it. This book deserve some praise and recognition in my opinion. Why are there more readers?
I hope the author doesn't think she us a failure and stop writing. Keep it up Ms. Cole. You are very talented!

Ugh I hate love triangles, like seriously.. Especially if their both hot and sweet in their own way it just makes it so hard to choose which hero you're rooting for! So much love, lust, hate, meddling and betrayal all in one book! I felt every emotion Alina was experiencing and felt for her at the same time wanting to smack her upside the head lol
Real anxious to start reading the next book hoping all turns out well for everyone.
Overall I give this book 4.5 stars, story keeps you interested throughout the whole time even making you stay up till the ass crack of dawn lol x

I knew it was a love triangle but I didn't know why she loved either men. This area could have used some development. There was alot of telling and not enough showing. Then it ended with a cliffhanger.

Loved the angst, loved these flawed characters.... Yes it's a love triangle, yes there's some cheating but I still loved it. Certain issues are still unresolved so I'm dying to read the novella that should come out next.

Great book. Don't know how S Ann Cole gets me to love these despicable characters but I do. Every last one of them! Can't believe I have to wait to see what happens next. Write faster ;)

My favourite book by this amazing author! With good reason! Amazing story with a kick ass heroine! Alina is amazing, she can be stubborn and selfish, but she is a great heroine! Someone with a personality and a backbone for a change! She is funny, feisty, strong, and if you win her trust incredibly loyal! I loved her and Davian in the beginning, but when I saw her relationship with Xavier grow, I was team Xavi! There was backstabbing and lies on both sides,
But so much passion and love! My only hate was Jessica! Nutkin does not begin to

COMPLICATED
This book has everything, , death, drama, mystery, backstabbing, love, and hope, and destiny. Ms. Cole, to say this book was spellbinding, would be a understatement. I couldn't stop reading it. But I had to, I had to get my son off to school. This book was so hard to read, but it needed to be read. I don't know if I can read the continuation of this book. I have to let some time pass, I think. But this book was everything to me when I read it. So thank you for having the talent and the time to write this masterpiece.

For Christ Sake ... Your books are amaizing Ann.... I readed Loving All Wrong series but now I know I have to get all your books. Right now I will recomend your books to all my friends because they are phenomenal!!!
You know when you read serie where each book is about different couple. And after first one you know all other books. When you read part 2,3,4 .... It's like you the first one but with different names. The same plot.. thay met, they fell in love, there was misunderstanding, fight , someone cheated then thay go back togother and leave happy ever after bla bla bla bla bla ...
It's not what you got in this serrie by S. Ann Cole !!!!!! And It's amazing . Each book is soooooo different that you have no idea what to expect!!! And EVERY ONE IS BRILLIANT. I was pissed off I cried I was confused ....

Alina falls in love with older boy next door. She sends Davian off to
follow his dreams to play in the band. He promises to come back, for her.
She is pregnant but never tells him. Now he is back and he is engaged. She wants to tell him about the baby.
Someone else is after her affection. Someone from the band that Davian
opened for on his tour.
Xavier is something else and will not take no from Alina, until she finally says yes. Alina really only says yes, to get closer to see Davian.
Only she finds that things in her heart and soul have changed.
Chad is still CRAZY and is anything but normal and I love it. Wish we could see more of him and Blood.
Love Kia and JK and Amanda. I love Xavier's sister, Xena. I want her to find some really hot Latino sexy hot singer or something and other sweep her off her feet. Or a polo player. Seeing them playing in their tight white pants, oh my. Leo and Danni would enjoy that as well. Yeah, something to REALLY get Tex to get over Kia. That is so old for him to be doing that. But then for Alina to tell him to get over it and she was doing the same, Bawahahaha!

So let me say that I am not usually a fan of books that have cheating or love triangles. I read for the fairytales, the romance, and the happily ever after’s that real life tends to be so different from, however I did find myself enjoying this book. I think the author did any potential reader a favor by stating that this was not your typical cookie cutter romance. The author did a great job at developing the characters, the storyline was catching, It drew me right in and I found myself quickly glued to the pages in efforts to find out how everything was going to play out. The characters go through a lot of emotions and I found myself easily riding that rollercoaster with them. I wanted to hate Alina just because she is so unlike the usual female lead I read but I couldn’t and I don’t, if anything I feel for her. I am left curious to see where this story goes…

This was a story of angst and heartbreak. It's a tangled web of a love triangle that leaves you feeling all of the emotions the characters go through. I really liked Alina, she made some questionable decisions but you can't help but pity her. The sex was sweet and hot all at the same time. This is definitely a journey, and I think you would enjoy it.
