JOVIR
Some souls weren't born. They were conjured.
---
In the dying light of a forgotten ship,
where storms devour memories,
and shadows whisper broken names,
a silent soul stirs —
a boy the world named glitch,
but destiny has begun to shape into something more.

Drawn by a thread unseen,
he crosses the crumbling edges of reality,
into a realm where ancient forests remember,
where dragons sail forgotten skies,
where magic still breathes beneath the mist.

Beyond the void,
a child's cry rises —
calling not for a savior reborn,
but for a magician yet to be made.

This is not the story of a hero returning.
It is the story of a soul being forged —
from silence, from trust,
from the untold dreams of a broken world.

Will you walk the path
where lost dreams shape new destinies?
Will you awaken the magic
still sleeping inside you?

Rudra V’s Jovir quietly slipped into my heart and stayed there. It's not a loud or dramatic story, but something far more rare: tender, thoughtful, and deeply human. At the center is Glitch, a boy overlooked by the world. As I read, I couldn’t help but see bits of my own journey in his. That sense of being invisible, of moving through life feeling unseen, felt familiar.

What really moved me was the unexpected companionship Glitch finds in a dog he rescues. Their bond is simple yet powerful. It reminded me how even the smallest kindness can spark something inside us. The story wanders through both darkness and light, wrapping quiet magic around the moments that usually go unnoticed. It made me pause, reflect, and feel.

This isn’t a book that rushes. It lets emotions unfold slowly and gently. And somehow, that made everything hit harder. If you’ve ever felt like you don’t quite fit or that your voice is drowned out by the noise of the world, this story might find you the way it found me.

By the time I reached the end, something inside me felt a little lighter. The sadness I didn’t know I was holding had loosened. Jovir doesn’t offer loud answers. It offers comfort, warmth, and quiet hope. And sometimes, that’s exactly what we need. I’d absolutely recommend this to anyone who appreciates reflective, soul-deep stories.

Thank you to @jovir.rudran and @fictionandflowerpr for the ARC.

Jovir by Rudra V is a lyrical fantasy novella set in a world where magic lingers in mist and memory. It follows the story of 4D3, a boy reclassified as a glitch—an identity that leaves him quietly searching for meaning, shaped by silence, trust, and forgotten dreams.

I was completely drawn in by the author’s writing style: simple yet deeply evocative, each line landing with quiet precision. The story unfolds with a gentle melancholy, beautifully balanced by flickers of hope and the promise of rediscovery. The pacing is immaculate, allowing space to sit with the emotions and absorb the weight of 4D3’s transformation into Jovir - making it feel earned, not rushed.

What I loved most is that Jovir doesn’t try to dazzle—it lingers, like a half-remembered dream that slowly comes into focus. If anything, I wished for a bit more depth in certain areas, but with so many unanswered questions and untapped potential, I’m hopeful this will be explored in future installments.

If you’re drawn to poetic fantasy that heals as much as it hurts, Jovir is a quiet, unforgettable journey that stays with you long after the final page.

JOVIR! a whisper in the dark, a hand reaching out when you didn’t even know you were lonely. From the very first page, Rudra’s words will gently take your hand and walk you into a whimsical world that feels like it’s been waiting for you all along. His writing is so beautiful and simple. It doesn’t shout; it hums like a half-remembered lullaby, and it lingers long after you’ve turned the last page. There’s sadness but also warmth, a quiet promise that even in the loneliest moments, something is waiting to find you.
It's the story of Glitch - a boy who isn’t a hero, just someone learning how to carry his scars without letting them define him. As you walk beside him, you realize you’re holding those same feelings too. There’s something about his journey, the way he stumbles, the way he trusts, the way he learns to hope makes you feel less alone. It’s as if the book isn’t just telling his story, but gently uncovering pieces of your own.
And the ending… oh, I’m still there in that moment. It unfolds so quietly, so slowly, and leads you somewhere that’s both heartbreaking and healing all at once. It reminded me that even the most forgotten souls can find a way home. It’s bittersweet and perfect.
Overall, JOVIR is about lost souls finding their way not through grand battles, but through quiet moments of trust, pain, and hope. The magic that lingers in the unseen corners of the world, and the love that stays even after goodbye. Some souls are conjured, but their love is eternal. In the end, JOVIR is a whisper that says You Are Not Alone.

I recently read Jovir by Rudra V, and honestly, it’s a story that touched me in a quiet, deep way. It’s about a boy named Glitch, who lives in a world where no one really sees him. I felt connected to this book because, like him, I’ve also had moments in life where I felt invisible or forgotten. The way this story talks about loneliness and finding little pieces of hope was something I truly felt while reading.

What made this book special for me was the simple but strong bond between Glitch and a little dog he saves. That part really stayed with me. It reminded me how even the smallest moments can make us feel alive again. The story moves between dark places and soft, magical moments, and it made me think about how sometimes, we all need someone or something to show us we still matter.

I would tell anyone who enjoys quiet, meaningful stories to pick up this book. It’s not a fast or action-filled story, but one that makes you feel things slowly and gently. If you’ve ever felt like you don’t belong, this book might speak to you. It’s simple to follow and easy to understand, but it leaves a strong feeling in your heart.

By the end of the book, I felt like I had let go of a little bit of my own sadness. It gave me hope that no matter how lost we feel, there’s always a way to find our place again. Jovir is a story about finding yourself when the world forgets you — and I’m really glad I read it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes heart-touching stories.

Some books tell you stories. JOVIR invites you to feel them — to drift into the silence between words, where magic, memory, and emotion blur together.

From the first haunting lines, I knew this wasn’t going to be an ordinary fantasy. It’s not just a tale of adventure or dragons or lost realms — it’s the quiet, aching journey of a soul rediscovering itself. Jovir, the “glitch,” the unspoken, the forgotten, feels like a mirror of every part of us that’s ever felt misplaced — and yet, his story breathes with the courage to hope again.

The writing is lyrical, ethereal, and richly atmospheric. The world-building? Stunning. A dreamlike fusion of ancient forests, mist-cloaked dragons, and magic that doesn’t shout — it hums quietly under your skin. And the emotional arc? Deep, vulnerable, and quietly powerful. I found myself pausing often, just to sit with a sentence, a scene, a feeling.

This is the kind of book you don’t rush. You savor it. You feel it like poetry written in stardust and stitched together with loss, wonder, and rebirth.

If you're drawn to soulful fantasy with a touch of surrealism — books that heal as much as they haunt — JOVIR is your next read. 🌌

🔮 Final Thoughts:
This isn’t just a story about a boy. It’s a quiet revolution of spirit. A journey into the deepest, most forgotten parts of ourselves — and a reminder that even from brokenness, something beautiful can rise.

JOVIR by Rudra isn’t just a story — it’s an experience. It’s one of those books that quietly pulls you in and makes you feel things you didn’t even realize were hiding inside you. In a world where magic lives in the mist and old forests still remember, we follow a boy called Glitch. He isn’t a hero, not yet. He’s a lost soul, being shaped by trust, silence, and forgotten dreams. And somehow, while reading, I felt like parts of me were walking beside him too 🌙✨.

The way Rudra has written this story is so simple, yet beautiful. It has this quiet sadness mixed with hope that stays with you long after you close the book. The writing feels like a soft, old song you almost forgot — but once it starts playing, you can’t stop listening. It’s magical, emotional, and deeply touching.

What I personally loved is that JOVIR doesn’t rush. It takes its time, just like life does sometimes when we’re lost. And in those moments, it reminds us that even when the world forgets us, there’s still something out there waiting to find us again. That message really stayed with me ❤️.

If you’re someone who loves books that feel like a quiet, dreamy escape — ones that make you think, feel, and quietly heal — I would truly recommend JOVIR. It’s not just a fantasy story. It’s a gentle reminder that every broken soul deserves to be found again 🌌📖.

There’s something unsettling about a world where no emotions are shown, acknowledged or felt. Where routine replaces wonder, and people are reduced to just some digital numbers.
Jovir dropped me into that stillness and then cracked it open, awakening me.

4D3, the boy at the center, isn’t loud. He doesn’t fight the system with fire. He simply starts to feel, and since he doesn't fit in that monotonous, limited system of the mechanical and digital world, he's called a "glitch", like a misfit. And in a place where emotions are considered malfunctions, that makes him dangerous according to others, or maybe just alive.

Interestingly, his “glitch” isn’t a flaw. It’s the start of selfhood - to embark on a quest of finding who he really is. And that gave me chills. Aren't we all on a journey of exploring ourselves, trying to know ourselves a little better day by day?

What I loved most about this book was the quiet rebellion, not through chaos, but through reflection - about slowly, tenderly realizing that the cage you live in isn't made of metal alone, but of forgotten dreams and stolen identities. And once you begin to dream again, that’s when real freedom begins.
Jovir was a good short read book, and whoever likes sci-fi should definitely try this book.

There’s something unsettling about a world where people don’t show emotions, where everything is routine, and humans feel more like numbers.
Jovir pulled me into that silent world and then gently cracked it open. It made me feel something.
This book is about a boy, named 4D3(or Glitch) who is just stuck in the world of robots, scheduled tasks and mechanical beeps. He just starts feeling in a place where emotions are seen as mistakes. That makes him a “glitch”, someone who doesn’t fit in. But maybe he isn’t broken. Maybe he’s just more human.
His so-called “glitch” is actually the beginning of finding himself. And that really hit me — aren’t we all trying to figure out who we truly are, little by little, every day?
What I loved most about this book is how soft yet powerful it is. It talks about freedom but not through action or drama, but through reflection. It made me realize: sometimes, we’re stuck in cages made of silence, lost dreams, and forgotten selves. And the moment we dare to dream again… that’s when real freedom begins.

Why read it?

Because in just a short span, Jovir takes you on a quiet, emotional journey. It’s not loud or dramatic, but it stays with you. It speaks to anyone who’s ever felt different or lost.

✨ BOOK REVIEW ✨

“Some souls weren’t born. They were conjured.”
There’s something haunting and beautiful about Jovir. Set in a world where people feel more like numbers than humans, it pulls you into a silent place—and then quietly cracks it open.

The story follows 4D3—or Glitch—a boy stuck in a cold, mechanical society where emotions are seen as errors. But the very thing that makes him a "glitch"… might just make him the most human of all.

His so-called flaw becomes the beginning of self-discovery. And honestly? That hit deep. Aren’t we all trying to figure out who we are, little by little, in a world that often tells us we don’t fit?

Despite being only 90 pages long, and light on descriptions, this story lingers. It doesn't rely on drama or high action, but on quiet reflection, emotion, and a deep sense of forgotten dreams. I do wish there was more—more lore, more stories, more time in that world. But what is given still manages to stir something.

Jovir is a soft, poetic reminder that real freedom begins the moment we dare to dream again. It’s not a loud tale. But it’s one that stays with you.

You know some of the stories entertain you, tease you or please you but JOVIR haunts you—in the best way possible.

JOVIR is Set in a alarming future where.
“humans are maintained, not lived,”
This book follows a boy known only as 4D3—a data unit doing his part in a robotic world. He worked for whole day but had bad dreams of ship in water. But when the system marks him as a GLITCH, everything changes.

What begins as a terrifying glitch-in-the-code, it slowly transforms into something more deep and profound. Nightmares of a ship in water… a dog that shouldn't exist… a quiet rebellion… and a name that carries ancient weight—JOVIR.

💬 "The man who once called himself a glitch, felt a new name whisper against his heart."

This isn't just about breaking systems. It's about finding meaning when you're told you have none.
A soft, soulful rebellion wrapped in sci-fi, myth, and sadness.

Some souls weren’t born. They were conjured.”

Set in a world stripped of warmth, where people are reduced to data and emotions are treated like errors, this story dares to do something rare and it slows down.

In this story there is 4D3,nicknamed “Glitch” ,a boy who doesn’t rage against the machine, but begins to feel in a place that calls feeling a malfunction. He doesn’t fight with fire. He simply exists, remembers, reflects. And somehow, that’s more dangerous than rebellion.

There are no explosive twists or sweeping worldbuilding. Instead, Jovir offers introspection, and the kind of resistance that comes from learning to listen to yourself again.

What moved me most wasn’t the story itself, but the space it made inside me to think, to feel, to grieve the ways we disconnect from our own humanity just to survive in a world that wants us to be muted.

It’s short under 100 pages and yet it stays like memory. Not perfect, but piercing. I wanted more. But maybe its brevity is the point. You’re not supposed to stay there. You’re supposed to wake up.

WHAT’S IT ABOUT?
When the world is on the verge of collapse, where "Humans no longer lived. They were maintained." In this data-driven society, every person is just a piece of data. He was a glitch, a “non-contributing emotional" with a lost purpose. Constantly rejected by the system and the society, This is a journey of how a glitch finds his purpose, love, and identity in a world where emotions are a worthless. Breaking the societal norms and being brave, being a protector, and finally being Jovir.

💭 MY THOUGHTS:
✍️ Writing Style: Simple and easy to follow.
Though the story flows well, some character arcs could have been explored more deeply.
The message is touching, but I felt more emotional layers could've been added for a stronger impact.

📌 FAVOURITE LINE:
"The man who once called himself a glitch, felt a new name whisper against his heart."

🤔 WOULD I RECOMMEND IT?
It’s a quick read — you can finish it in one sitting (around 2 hours). If you're into light sci-fi with emotional undertones, give it a try.

Some souls weren't born. They were conjured.

Jovir by Rudra is a short, lyrical fantasy novella that is like a ray of light in the dark. Reading Jovir felt like walking side by side with the character and witnessing everything happen with your own eyes and feeling each and every emotion. The writing is lyrical and simple. The best part of the book is the relationship of 4D3 and the dog he saved.

This fantasy is not loud like those with dragons, shifters, deeply rooted romance, or wars for kingdoms; instead, it's soft and seeps into your heart. It's the story of a 4D3 boy who is called Glitch just because he started to feel. Most of us will deeply relate to 4D3 because that's how some of us live our lives in reality. That glitch is the beginning of a new journey for 4D3.

Highly recommended. If you are looking for a short fantasy novella or a palate cleanser in the fantasy genre that is also deep and connects with readers, then it's perfect for you.

Jovir by Rudra V is a gentle and poetic sci-fi fantasy that surprised me with its emotional depth. The story follows Glitch a soul adrift in a data-run world where emotions are obsolete. Yet, it’s not just about dystopia it’s about awakening, connection, and finding something real in a system that’s forgotten how to feel.

What stayed with me most was the quiet bond between Glitch and a little dog. That single act of compassion shifts everything. Rudra's writing is lyrical but accessible, with lines that felt like whispers of long-forgotten memories.

The world-building is dreamlike, moving from sterile cities to magical forests with haunting fluidity. It reminded me that sometimes, we don’t need grand battles we need a story that makes us feel seen again.

If you’re someone who enjoys slow, meaningful reads with a touch of the surreal, Jovir is worth your time.

I recently finished Jovir by Rudra. It’s not just a book—it’s an experience.
This is nothing like the usual books I’ve read before.

The story follows a boy named 4D3, stuck in a world where humans are maintained, not living. 4D3 works all day but doesn’t sleep at night—haunted by a recurring nightmare of a ship in water. Everything seems fine until the system suddenly reclassifies him as a glitch.

Is he really a glitch?
Is the "ship in water" just a nightmare—or is there something deeper and more magical hidden behind this dream?

And most importantly—why is the book called Jovir when the story is about 4D3?
To find the answers, you’ll have to read the book.

He was a glitch in one world, and a saviour in another.

If you’re into sci-fi, this one is worth a try.
It’s a short read—approximately one and a half hours.

A quick, thoughtful read with a touch of mystery

Jovir is a short and engaging read just 90 pages, and I finished it in about 45 minutes. Perfect for anyone looking for a bite sized sci-fi story that still gives you something to think about.

The story follows 4D3, a boy living in a world where emotions are considered glitches. But is he really just a glitch? Or could he be the key to something much bigger? The book keeps that question hanging in a way that’s both intriguing and open-ended.

While the plot is simple and some parts feel more symbolic than detailed, that’s also what gives it charm. It doesn’t try to do too much it focuses on its core idea and leaves you reflecting.

If you're in the mood for something short, a little mysterious, and quietly impactful, something that you can read quickly Jovir might be just what you’re looking for.

Jovir is a quiet, powerful story about a boy named 4D3—called Glitch—who lives in a world where emotions are seen as mistakes. Instead of fighting back with anger, he learns to feel, to remember, and to listen to himself. That’s what makes his journey so moving.

The book doesn’t try to impress with big action or flashy magic. Instead, it gently asks us: What have we forgotten about ourselves? What parts of us have we hidden just to fit in?

Rudra V’s writing is soft and simple, just 90 pages but it stays with you. Every line feels like it’s meant to be felt not just read. It’s a story that makes you pause think and maybe even heal a little.

This is not a story that comforts Its an unsettling one. It asks you to sit with discomfort with the quiet violence of forgetting. And in doing so, it becomes more than fiction—it becomes a reckoning.

Prepare yourself, because "Jovir (4D3)" isn't just another sci-fi story—it's an emotional rollercoaster! 🎢 This narrative will challenge your every notion of technology and what it truly means to be human.

Imagine a world overflowing with emotionless robots 🤖... and then, amidst the metallic coldness, you discover one robot with a soul that genuinely connects with yours. ❤️"
But what if that's not all? What if there's another dimension where you're truly united with your love? 🌌

This story is incredibly unique, and I absolutely adore how the author masterfully illustrates that sometimes, the weakest among us can possess the greatest courage. 💪

From the very first chapter, Jovir doesn't feel like just another fantasy novel. Rudra’s storytelling is full of quiet power. You don’t just read this book you feel it. The world-building is absolutely stunning. Cities that seem like they were once alive, now in ruins. The emotional tension in this book isn't forced or overly dramatic; it's subtle, thoughtful, and very real. There’s magic, yes—but it’s the kind that lingers in silence, that moves like a shadow behind your thoughts. Rudra has created a world that feels ancient and futuristic at once a poetic contradiction that mirrors Jovir himself. If you're a fan of stories that challenge the soul while captivating the imagination this is your next read.

"Floating from the mist, wrapped in shimmering calm, came 4D3.
No longer broken. No longer a shadow."

this is a 90 page short sci-fi/fantasy novella which simply encourages you to just believe in yourself.
it's lyrical, it's simple but so so effective. it gave a sense of calm and peace.
if anyone ever wants a book to read within an hour (it only took me 35 minutes), this is perfect.
or if any new/non-reader wants to get a sense of this genre and what it feels like to be consumed by words, this is PERFECT.

I have enjoyed what the author Rudra V has to say in his work Jovir. I was won over by the unique combination of science fiction and fantasy in the poetry. The issue of what is a soul and does it call us as we come into this world rather than are born into it was very interesting to ponder. Also the play between narrative and philosophical poetry had me reflecting for some time after I put the book down. Each chapter seems to balance external adventure with internal reflection which gives the story great depth. The atmosphere he creates is at once immersive and at times very haunting which left an impression on me. As a whole it is a very thought out and engaging read for those who enjoy more reflective and imaginative stories

Amazingly written

I have read few books which include poetry into their novels or novellas and I also read who could mess up doing it but this book....It was on point. The novella was short engaging and very well put together. Because with short novellas it is important to create the clear picture of the storyline and the plot and this one is really good at it. I was involved completely and finished it in one go.
If you are looking for something like a quick-read, Sci-fi, Dystopian feels with Jaw dropping ending then you should Definetely read this one, I am sure you will love it

Book Name - Jovir by Rudra

Rating - 5/5

Jovir is a unique book where the world of technical marvels and magical fantasies blends together in perfect sync to take readers on an exploration of a vibrant world literally.

The book narrates about the under confident 4D3, also called Glitch, and his inspirational transformation to a powerful magician Jovir on a mission to save people from a big tragedy.

The most noteworthy aspect of this book is that the author has penned it down remarkably in very short sentences thereby making this 90 page creative masterpiece highly interesting and totally entertaining making you complete it in one sitting.

Reading out loud Jovir by Rudra V was a different experience. What with the mix of science fiction and fantasy in the poetry put forth in a novel way which also presented the thought that the soul may be the one to summon us into life instead of us just being born that was very interesting. Each chapter in the book blends adventure with reflection and so it is at once exciting and deep. The setting is very present and at times almost ghostly, what left its mark on me for some time after I put the book down. For readers that look for that which is out of the ordinary and at the same time thoughtful, this is a great pick.

Wow… this book got under my skin in the best way possible. The writing feels like stepping into a dream you don’t want to wake up from — eerie, beautiful, and strangely comforting. The boy called “glitch” completely broke my heart and then slowly put it back together. It’s not the usual “chosen hero” story; it’s about becoming something you never thought you could be, even when the world feels shattered. I finished it and just sat there, staring at nothing, thinking about the magic still sleeping inside me. Highly recommend if you want a story that feels like it’s speaking directly to your soul

Jovir is a sci fi fantasy book about a boy called as glitch and its a world where humans are not alive and are like machines. The story is about the journey of an erased soul looking for a purpose to survive and find his true self. Its a very unique story and as a person who is not into sci fi books i felt it quite interesting. The book is written in a poetic way and its a short easy read within hundred pages. The story is very simple but it has a deeper meaning to it. If you want to know how a non wanted glitch in this world becomes the protector Jovir then do give this book a try.

Rudra’s Jovir stands out as a story that blends AI, philosophy and fantasy in a very unconventional way. The world‑building is fresh and the themes of consciousness and purpose are explored with depth.
The language has a slightly old‑English tone, which makes it feel poetic but can also be a bit confusing in places.
Readers who like experimental, thought‑provoking fiction will appreciate this book. It’s not for everyone, but it’s definitely for those who enjoy slow, contemplative stories with emotional undertones.

This novel opened like a dream half-remembered, where the boundaries between soul and spell blur until you’re not sure where reality ends. I was drawn into Jovir’s world where existence itself feels forged—not inherited—and the protagonist’s journey becomes an exploration of purpose and identity. The prose carries a chilly warmth: evocative descriptions that creep into your consciousness, characters both fragile and fierce, and a mythology so understated you only realize its power in retrospect. There’s an emotional ache beneath the magic, a persistent question of what it means to be “real.”

I appreciate Jovir by Rudra V because of the unique combination of sci-fi with poetry which gave the book a new and different touch. The concept of the soul summoning us into this world piquing our curiosity is a unique concept. Each chapter alternates between action and introspection, which adds kind of a meditative quality. The worldbuilding was moody and evocative, and something I won’t forget any time soon. Anyone looking for a creative and sensible story will definitely appreciate this book
